Today I’m taking a gander at the new Zovoo Dragbar Z700 GT disposable Vape.
I’m starting to get familiar with Voopoo‘s Sister brand now. We’ve already taken a look at the Zovoo Dragbar 600S and the Zovoo Dragbar R6000 disposables. Those two are poles apart in terms of looks and capabilities which demonstrates the extent to which the company is innovating in the field of disposable devices.
Zovoo were established in 2020 with the intention of offering a different and great experience to vapers, globally.
On the strength of the above mentioned disposable vapes I’d say they’re already achieving their goals. Time doesn’t stand still for Zovoo. In June this year they unveiled a new Nano-Tech Ceramic Core technology.
Known as the GENE TREE – Special Edition.
So if you were wondering what the GT stood for in that title description up there, now you know!
There does indeed seem to be many benefits to the tech and if ever there was a time to discuss them, it’s now..
What Can We Expect From The Zovoo Dragbar Z700 GT Disposable Vape?
The Zovoo GENE TREE Special Edition tech offers users a powder free ceramic coil at the heart of the disposable. Smaller aerosol particles are produced than standard ceramic resulting in an ultra fine vapour and silky smooth taste.
I’ve a feeling that’s why the Z700 GT is capable of an additional 100 puffs over other disposables with similar battery capacities but we’ll find out soon enough..
What the GENE TREE Special Edition also boasts is a much more consistent vape. The even heat distribution unlocked by smaller particulates means that not only is liquid spitting or popping eradicated but the resulting inhale is much quieter.
That inhale is also much smoother and Zovoo boast up to a 40% improvement to the comfort of the vape.
..I’ll soon be letting you know if I notice any difference between this tech and existing ceramic coil based disposables.
So if ceramic is at the beating heart of the Dragbar Z700 GT disposable, what’s the design and build quality like?
The Zovoo Dragbar Z700 GT looks like it’s a TPD exclusive so let’s take a quick look at a few specs before diving in proper.

I couldn’t find any flavour descriptions on the official Zovoo website. They all look self explanatory though so here are my thoughts.
Massive thanks to Zovoo for sending these across for the purposes of review – It’s very much appreciated.
Design and Build Quality
Personally? I dig it. This is the style and form factor all disposable vapes should be taking.
Zovoo refer to it as ‘A minimalistic design with clean lines, making it look trendy and sleek’.
Guess what? They’re not wrong.
Take a look at the pics for proof!
At just 9mm in depth they don’t come any thinner than this. There’s absolutely no weight to them either. These two contributing factors mean a hassle free experience when placed in a trouser pocket.
We’re talking the ultimate in portability.
The Polycarbonate and PCTG plastic gives the disposable a polished and sleek appearance and there’s an elegant tapering towards the end of the 4.2mm wide mouthpiece.
Zovoo have managed to squeeze an air ingress port on the base, measuring 2.2mm. It’s clearly designed for a classic MTL vape. We tell you what the term MTL means in our Guide To Vape Styles.
I guess Zovoo are so confident of style, appearance and build quality that they don’t feel the need to identify this particular model anywhere.
The GENE TREE tech gets a discreet mention on one side of the disposable with the flavour profile and salt nic strength on the other.
There are a staggering 100 flavours in total to choice from although categories are still limited to fruits, mints and beverages. Some include Coolada if that’s your thang.
Blueberry Pomegranate
I Say:
This is quite a fragrant vape. I’m actually very much reminded of Bubble Gum for some reason. It features, there on the exhale. The Blueberry is very sweet and carries a candy like bite to it.
There’s also a layering of Coolada that I pick up after the inhale and leaves a pleasant cooling effect on the rear of the throat. In no way is it over powering so never interferes with the overall flavour properties.
Blueberry Pomegranate is a very smooth and refreshing vape and it’s packed with flavour that’s for sure. I’ve never really understood Pomegranate as an ingredient and I don’t really sense that it’s featured here.
There’s more to candy than there is to fruit with this one so that’s gonna be reflected in the score line.
It’s still got plenty to offer, though.
Pineapple Lime Soda
I Say:
I can smell the aroma of Lime from this one once the vacuum sealed bag is opened.
This is a heavenly blending of Pineapple and Lime. Both fruits complement each other exquisitely. The Lime isn’t very intense and the Pineapple contains just the right amount of citrus and sweetness.
The Soda tends to play into the hands of the included Coolada, which again thankfully isn’t in your face. But if there’s anything sparkling it’s in the two fruits. To me, it’s a pitch perfect fusion of tropical fruit without any unnecessary intensity.
Again, this one lives up to the smoothness Zovoo describe. The throat is caressed by Coolada during inhale while the flavour is able to unleash on the way out.
Highly recommended as a refreshing Summer vape. It doesn’t disappoint.
Pink Grapefruit Lemonade
I Say:
I didn’t get much joy out of this one, I’m afraid. Sadly I only got a few initial mini MTL vapes before the disposable gave out. Not before heating the disposable’s exterior and producing a nasty dry hit..
Pink Grapefruit Lemonade has been omitted from the scoring.
Watermelon Strawberry
I Say:
This is a very nice fusion of Watermelon and Strawberry. The inhale produces just a tickle of Coolada, enough to cool the throat and followed by some rather juicy fruit on the way out.
The sweetness from the Strawberry gets pulled in during the inhale and follows through for the rest of the vape. It’s quite clever how the freshness of the Watermelon is able to seep through too.
The combination of the two fruits keeps the vape interesting. If I had to be more precise, it’s the Strawberry (which tastes quite ripe, not artificial) that dominates the inhale while the Watermelon takes care of the rest of the vaping experience.
That tinge of sweetness is played to perfection. It never coats the lips and doesn’t hang around in the annoying way it can in disposable form.
Watermelon Strawberry is a definite summer pleaser.
Battery Performance and Puff Count
I got five and a half hours use from each functioning disposable. That’s not too bad given the battery capacity. However it only equated to around 400 puffs in total – somewhat short of claims.
Zovoo Dragbar Z700 GT Disposable Vape Final Review Verdict
Flavour quality is generally good. Yes, they are a little ‘back of the box’ but I tend to find that with all ceramic coils. These one’s are no different. The main thing was that I was able to identify individual flavours and I could – hence the scoring.
Although the flavour can appear slightly muted what you will get is consistency from every vape, right up to the point of disposal. The inhale is indeed very quiet as Zovoo state and continual puffs produce a smooth vape.
The MTL experience is generally quite favourable so any new or casual vaper will feel very much at home here. Vapour production mimics exactly what you’d expect from cigarette smoke. Both volume and lingerability (is that a word?) are identical.
However, I can’t end the summary without mentioning a couple of things. I was a bit disappointed that Pink Grapefruit Lemonade fell at the first hurdle which makes me question the integrity of ceramic as a heating medium.
I also can’t be certain it wasn’t just a duff disposable. DOA style.
The disposables became very warm when using. That’s going to set a few alarm bells ringing. I don’t experience this phenomena when vaping traditional round wire builds.
Who knows? The transmission of heat may well be down to its slim build..
Let me end on a lighter note.
Occasionally I found myself vaping from the wrong end of the Z700 GT! Such is the sleek, symmetrical nature of the design and build.
I’m not faulting Zovoo – I’m faulting my aging eyesight!
