Today it’s the turn of the Zovoo Dragbar R6000 disposable pod Mod to get the review treatment.
Please note: This product is not available in the UK as it does not meet TPD regulations. So only available for readers outside TPD regulated countries.
If the name sounds a little familiar don’t sweat it! Zovoo is the sister brand of highly successful and incredibly popular Voopoo. Voopoo, of course have given us a range of Drag kits not to mention the likes of the Drag X, Drag X Pro and Drag X Plus.
You get the picture – these vaping devices have been a resounding success around the world.
Zovoo are relatively new kids on the block and were established in 2020 over in Shenzhen, China. The following year they had their focus on the development of pod based systems. At the same time they attracted worldwide attention by unveiling the Dragbar series of disposable e-cigarettes.
Here at Ecigclick, we’ve had the chance to test their mantra of providing customers with socially friendly products that satisfy taste, smell and usability. Check out our reviews of the Dragbar 600 and Dragbar 600S disposable e-cigs for our thoughts.
Today we’re going to take a look at a brand new release, the Dragbar R6000. It’s a little bit different. Read on to find out why.
What Can We Expect From The Zovoo Dragbar R6000?
It’s the first disposable Pod Mod to hit the vaping market, designed for a Restrictive Direct Lung hit (RDL). There are different styles of vaping we tell you more in our Guide To MTL and DTL Vaping.
It contains 18ml of e-liquid so clearly currently targeted towards non EU zones as the TPD Regulations restrict the capacity to 2ml.
An integrated 1000mAh battery constantly powers the mesh coil to a steady 18W output.
We also get fully adjustable airflow which will appeal to any current users of traditional Pod kits.
There are currently a total of 15 flavours to savour and Zovoo tell us more are on the way.
The Dragbar R6000 emulates the leather like appearance of the Drag series across its Polycarbonate outer shell. In fact it’s ‘a tribute to the Drag series’.
Zovoo state it’s the perfect alternative to traditional RDL vape devices and will appeal to all cloud chasing lovers.
There’s even an e-liquid pressure balancing structure incorporated below the mouthpiece to prevent leakage or spit back.

First Impressions
It’s tall and it’s quite chunky but incredibly light too. This means it should be quite pocket friendly but not so much if placed in a shirt pocket. The mouthpiece is likely to stick out.
The Dragbar logo runs vertically down the front of the pod Mod and the flavour is printed below.
The sides and back incorporate a leather like pattern but doesn’t provide nearly enough grip in my opinion and certainly doesn’t emulate the imitation leather of the Drag series.
The back panel also displays the classic Drag logo many have come to know and love. It’s etched deeper than the leather pattern so may attract dust or dirt.
I measured the internal diameter of the moulded mouthpiece and it comes in at around 5.5mm. This will, of course add to the effect of a restrictive direct lung vape.
Finally, on the base we have the single adjustable airflow slot which at its widest point provides a 7.5mm opening. The type C USB charging port can also be found here.
At this point it’s worth reminding that a type C USB charging cable is not included in the box. The official website also mentions an instruction guide but I never received one.
These are sample models so I’m taking that into account.
You’ll get the device in a vacuum sealed bag with a silicone stopper plugging the mouthpiece and a sticker placed over the USB port for protection.
I’m a bit disappointed there aren’t any flavour descriptions for the four samples I’ve been sent. This means I’m going in blindfolded, so work with me! lol
I also wanted to find out the juice ratio. Again, no luck but I’m guessing it’s likely to be 70VG/30PG. We tell you what this means in our Guide To E-liquid.
Dragbar R6000 – Little Green Man
I Say:
The official website is naming this one ‘Green Voodoo’ so I’m not sure when or why the change to ‘Little Green Man’ came about. I still like the sample name better.
OK, I did say I was going in blindly so here’s my take. Only the faintest trace of Coolada so that makes a refreshing change. If I’m honest, and I always try to be this very much reminds me of those Turkish Delight delicacies.
There even seems to be some Milk Chocolate thrown in there for good measure.
If the background fruits of the image are to be believed, Grape plays a role. It’s not there – I’m not picking it out at all.
There may be a few extremely subtle references to Banana but they only tend to be left on the palate post vape as an after taste.
Forget Strawberries too (if that’s what they’re supposed to be from the image), this vape is very dry and lacks any kind of juicy, fruity sweetness.
For what it’s supposed to represent, Little Green Man fails on quite a few levels.
Dragbar R6000 – Pineapple Grapefruit
I Say:
This one fares better than Little Green Man but it’s still not the finished article. Why? Because again the vape tastes somewhat on the dry side, flattening out two usually bright and vibrant tropical fruits.
There is a little sweetness mixed in there and without doubt there’s more of the Pineapple than the Grapefruit. Low levels of Coolada enter the throat during the inhale, merely tickling but that’s fine by me. It’s not the usual overkill. You won’t suffer brain freeze.
It’s not a particularly effective blending of flavours although they do adhere to the palate for a short while post vape.
Pineapple Grapefruit lacks the juicy, crisp and refreshing qualities I’ve come to expect from this Summer inspired profile.
So although the two fruits are there, I think they could have been enhanced. Maybe a little more sweetness (on this rare occasion) would’ve helped things along.
Dragbar R6000 – Rainbow Bear
I Say:
Traditionally it seems a Rainbow Gummy bear is made up of Grapefruit, Apricot, Pineapple, Apple and Blueberry. Since I’ve nothing to work on other than the graphic what did I experience?
Well, well, well. This one’s interesting. I’m greeted by a gentle, cooling caress of the throat on the initial inhale. On the way out there is without doubt a sweetie, gummy like texture that permeates a copious amount of cloud production.
There’s definitely a candy edge pulsing through the vape too and the initial fruit I pick out is actually Orange! Mid vape some Raspberry back notes appear and provide additional sweetness to the taste buds.
This is a tropical mix of flavours and the Grapefruit (sorely underplayed with Pineapple Grapefruit) washes over the top of the other key ingredients.
What makes Rainbow Bear stand out is the careful balancing of sweetness. It’s pitched perfectly. Neither does the Coolada interfere with the overall experience, merely adding to the overall freshness of the vape.
I’m loving the gummy, candy complexity of this one and to me at least, is a sure fire Summer vape delight.
Dragbar R6000 – Pineapple Coconut Rum
I Say:
Yup! This one works. From the very first exhale I’m picking out the included trio of flavours. In each case they’re still quite subtle but the blending is well on par, in my opinion.
Don’t get too excited about the Rum by the way. As has been pointed out on many occasions, there’s no alcoholic content to be found within this e-juice. We do get a pretty good representation of the beverage though.
That’s backed up by a sensible layering of Coolada designed to soothe the back of the throat.
The Rum acts more as a lacing to the Grapefruit and Coconut and blends in seamlessly.
The Grapefruit is clean and tasty although once again somewhat lacking in bitterness or bite. That does mean the Coconut content is able to present its sweet, nutty tones during the exhale.
Those tones linger on the palate post vape, rounding off what is another great tropical and seasonal vape. Everything comes together to offer a very natural, organic tasting vape.
How Long Does The ZOVOO Dragbar R6000 Last? How Many Puffs?
I managed six hours from a single charge. During this time I puffed in the region of 430 times. If, as I suspected I’d vaped around 3ml of e-liquid and my maths are correct this would mean a total of 2,580 puffs over a further 5 charges.
That’s less than half the number of puffs Zovoo are claiming. It also equates to 36 hours of continuous vaping before the e-juice runs out.
Type C charging was pretty poor. It took 2 hours to bring the pod mod back to life, double the time it would usually take.
Final Review Verdict
While I understand these pod Mods need to be bigger to house 18ml of e-juice, I still think they’re a little on the chunky side. The fact they’re incredibly light just makes them more of an oddity and the leather like surface injected pattern doesn’t really provide enough grip but that is just my opinion.
There’s no doubting the Dragbar R6000 offers a restrictive direct lung vape even with the adjustable airflow set wide open. I preferred it set about mid way because it pulled more flavour out. It also helped to enhance the cooling abilities of the vape.
Don’t close the airflow off further than two thirds because you’ll find yourself straining neck muscles! It is possible to mouth to lung (MTL) vape but flavour suffers and it feels an unnatural restriction.
I always test these things but it proves the Dragbar R6000 is only designed for that restrictive direct lung vape.
I have to take my hat off to Zovoo for giving flavours that are a bit off the beaten vape track. These are more complex than your average disposable e-cig so the distinction between the two has been well and truly set.
The auto draw worked flawlessly. I tested this by pulling very light tugs with the airflow wide open. No problems at all. A small blue LED on the base illuminates while you inhale.
Who’s The Zovoo Dragbar R6000 Disposable Pod Mod Designed For?
Direct lung capabilities obviously rule out the new vaper. A 3mg nicotine strength won’t appease those cravings either. At a time where disposables are slim and compact, the Dragbar R6000 looks to be aimed at those more familiar with larger pod kits or sub ohm devices.
Towards an intermediate vaper that’s managed to reduce nicotine levels over a period of time. A seasoned sub ohm vaper would fit the bill because cloud production mimics those devices too.
Personally, I dig this kind of airflow restriction and nicotine content. But it took me a few years to find my vaping style. So yeah, it’s good for an established vaper looking for a convenient vape away from the hassle of having to change coils or replace cotton.
For those vapers, the Dragbar R6000 is more than a viable option.
