The Exo-Armor Mod By Xomo Previewed
The Xomo Exo-Armor mod is a strange mod containing the well loved YiHi chipset.
I haven’t heard much of this company but apparently they were established in 2015 and have a few other mods including the Xomo Mimi and Xomo GT Laser range.
The Exo-Armor is a 300W output mod from only dual 18650 batteries – which I find quite surprising!
The mod body is a clear see through design but the kit includes a set of “armour plates” which are made from Zinc Alloy and are a matte black finish. The armour plates are held in position with magnets.
The circular TFT HD screen has customisable wallpaper, clock and you can upgrade the user interface and firmware when updates are available.
As mentioned above inside the Exo-Armor is a YiHi chipset – used by many devices from the SX Mini range and some of the GTRS Mods.
You can select from Variable Wattage or Variable Joule (Temperature Control) modes. This mod also uses the SXi-Q Intelligent taste curve profiles – you have 5 to choose from – Super powerful, Powerful, Standard, Soft and Energy saving.
According to Xomo this mod took 744 days, 17865 hours, 813 drawings, 130 sets of grinding tools, 3821 parts and components, 300 processes and 500 technicians to create! There does appear to only be the clear with black armour panels version available.
