Today we are looking at the Wotofo Nudge RDA – Another collaboration between Suck My Mod and Wotofo.
It is a 24mm diameter rebuildable atomiser with a “Staggered Z” post design. It features a super deep juice well as well as a hollow centre pin for all you squonk fans out there.
The chamber is domed for an intense flavour experience as well as a large Ultem drip tip for insulation against the heat.
But how did I get on with it? Find out in my written and video review!
The Wotofo Nudge RDA is available in six different finishes which are Gun Metal, Stainless Steel, Green, Red, Blue and Black, but today I will be looking at the Black Version.
I also reviewed the Wotofo Nudge Box here if you want to check out what I thought of this squonker.
As always my opinions are honest and my own.

Build Quality & Design
We’ll start from the top and make our way down the RDA…
The Drip Tip:
The drip tip is just your usual 810 size and made from delrin. It’s nicely shaped and feels great in the mouth.
If you do wish, you can use the 510 drip tip adapter that is included in the box to use your own 510 sized drip tip
The Barrel:
Below the drip tip assembly, we have the airflow barrel. It is extremely light, so I am predicting that it is made from Aluminium rather than Stainless Steel.
It has the Nudge Logo and Suck My Mod Logo engraved into opposite sides of it, as well as two large airflow holes. Above that, the barrel is slightly concaved for ease of removal from the deck.
On the inside of the barrel, it is extremely clean and tidy. No rough edges or sharp bits. It is also conical in shape, which is known for producing extremely good flavour. And I tell you what, this does pack a punch in the flavour department!
The Build Deck & Base:
As said above, the deck on the Wotofo Nudge RDA is a “Staggered Z-Post Design” which has two floating positive posts in the centre and the negative posts milled into the deck/airflow holes.
The deck is extremely tidy indeed, very well machined and put together. There wasn’t any metal shavings or machine oil when opened, which is up to the usual Wotofo standard.
The positive post in the centre has two holes milled into it which allows the e-liquid to come through if you are using it with a squonking device, as well as two chamfers which direct the airflow directly upwards and into your mouth.
All in all, the deck is extremely well made, but it is a bit cramped to put the bigger coils on, the ones supplied by Wotofo only JUST fit in there with a bit of moving around.
On the base, we have the usual Wotofo and SMM markings, as well as a removable 510 pin so you can add a hollow pin to allow the RDA to be used with squonking devices.
How Does the Wotofo Nudge RDA Perform?
On this RDA, I have been using a pair of the included flapton coils, which come out to about 0.13Ω on the Coil Master 521 Mini Tab.
Ease Of Build On The Nudge RDA
Building on the Nudge RDA is a little bit difficult, due to the lack of space on the deck. But once you get a good build on there, this RDA does not disappoint at all!
Simply unscrew the 4 post screws…
Insert your coils at an angle with the winds facing upwards, but this is dependent on whether you coil left or right handed. Then hold the legs into the notches and clamp the positive legs down first.
Then move onto the negative posts and clamp them down too.
After this, make sure that your coils are centralised and not fouling on anything it shouldn’t be and then cut off the legs absolutely flush with the posts.
Next up, pinch and pulse until the coils are glowing nice and evenly from the inside out. Let the coils cool for a minute or two before adding any wick, as you may end up burning your wick or your fingers.
Grab whatever wick you wish to use, I am using Texas Tuff Quick Wix, and insert it through the coils. I have found that trimming just outside of the deck is the best length to get to the bottom of the juice well, but if needs be, you can judge for yourself. Then tuck it into the deck and get your favourite e-liquid onto that wick!
Flavour & Clouds
The flavour on the Nudge RDA has been absolutely lovely! I think this is mainly down to the way the airflow route has been planned. It comes through the side holes, beneath the coils, hits that angled centre post and straight into your mouth. I have absolutely no complaints with the flavour on this RDA
As for clouds. They’re pretty damn acceptable! I wouldn’t go calling this a cloud chasing RDA, but it definitely produces some dense clouds!
What I Like
Firstly, I love the design and look of the Nudge RDA. Its sleek, stealthy and looks amazing on black devices. Its a stunner!
The build deck. It’s different. It’s innovative, albeit slightly cramped, but I still like it!
What I Dislike
The cramped build deck. You’re not going to fit any massive builds in this, so be careful what you’re putting in there and make sure that it doesn’t foul anywhere it shouldn’t.
Lack of airflow adjustment. You can adjust this to about 50% airflow, but if you’re after anything tighter, you will be out of luck. Another thing to comment about adjusting the airflow is that when you want to minimise it, you have to turn the outer barrel anti-clockwise, therefore loosening the RDA from the device. So to avoid this, you either have to remove the RDA from the device or spin the barrel clockwise until you get round to the opposite airflow hole.
Lack of single coil mode. With most RDAs nowadays, I look for two things. Single coil mode and squonk capabilities. I think that having a single coil option is A MUST for new RDAs, but obviously it depends whether it’s a cloud chasing RDA or a flavour RDA.
Final Review Verdict
The Wotofo Nudge RDA is a cracking RDA despite the few little flaws. Great on flavour, great on clouds and it looks stunning on any device!
Which leaves me the question: Would I buy the Wotofo Nudge RDA if lost or damaged?
Two words – HELL YES!
Pros:
- Great looks
- Decent flavour
- Smooth airflow
- Innovative deck
Cons:
- No single coil mode
- Semi-adjustable airflow
- Cramped deck
