There appears to be a crisis over at Wizvapor.
Wizvapor created some iconic (and sometimes controversial) vape gear over the years.
The one vape device I crave but do not yet own is the Puff Boy. A box mod which has more than a nod to the Nintendo Game Boy.
More recently they have been branching out into pod kits (Mini Beeper), AIO’s (Beeper AIO), Disposables (Walkie Vape) and Vaporisers (710 Dab Vapor).
The company began in 2017 and apparently consists of…
“a group of geeks who independently design and develop electronic atomisers while also nurturing a culture of love & dedication to creating the Retro-Dope aesthetic”
Wizman which appears to be the sister company to Wizvapor seem to be involved in the “420” (or Cannabis culture industry) and produces Vaporisers, Rolling papers, Apparel, Toys and another 40 products.
In 2022 Wizman Limited developed a brand in Thailand devoted to the legal Medicinal Cannabis industry.
The Statement
Because I do love the retro-ness (is that a word?) styling of their vape gear I follow them on Facebook.

“WIZVAPOR Announcement:
Due to a surprise inspection by the authorities in our Shenzhen warehouse at the end of March, all Vape-related goods were confiscated, and several members were detained (have been released on bail), resulting in the suspension of WIZVAPOR operations until now.
WIZVAPOR has been primarily focused on overseas markets, manufacturing in a licensed and compliant factory in Shenzhen. We possess certifications and export declarations for the target countries and have not been involved in the illegal sale of domestic products. The investigators have unjustly attributed various baseless accusations to our company, such as producing counterfeit and inferior products and falsely categorizing export products as domestic sales. These accusations were based on illegal monitoring of chat software and transaction records. Although the involved members have been released on bail, our goods, office computers, and funds remain frozen. The investigation authorities have been using the pretext of ongoing investigations to delay proceedings, disregarding facts and the law, with the sole objective of confiscating our goods and funds.
Due to the ongoing bail period of our members, we are unable to provide extensive details about the incident. This was an unjust and overreaching targeted action against domestic small and medium-sized e-cigarette companies. Numerous companies have been affected, impacting tens of thousands of industry practitioners. The industry regulations issued by the Chinese authorities for e-cigarettes currently do not possess the status of legal documents. However, the majority of industry practitioners are currently detained, with all assets seized.
In China, communication and progress in legal matters are extremely challenging. We are angered and frustrated by this incident but will continue to pursue legitimate legal means to safeguard our rights.
Due to the freezing of our accounts, Beeper AIO and its accessories, Puff Boy, Walkie vape, and other products are still under seizure and cannot be shipped. If there are requests for vape product returns or exchanges, we hope that customers can accept alternative non-VAPE products such as Green Power Mobile Powerbank, Sofubi toys, Rolling Paper, and peripheral products. For undelivered products, refunds can be requested through our official website. We sincerely apologize for any delays and appreciate your understanding.
The development of new projects by WIZVAPOR for 2023 will be temporarily postponed. What Has Happened?
So according to the Facebook post all their Vape related goods were confiscated and several members of staff arrested. The staff have now been released on Bail.
Also due to bail conditions it appears that they are not able to go into detail about the incident.
But the Shenzhen based warehouse have had stock and office computers taken and all their funds have been frozen.
Wizvapor state they have all the required certification and licences to produce products for export. Also they deny any illegal sale in domestic products.
The investigators have implied that Wizvapor were producing Counterfeit, inferior products and falsely categorising export products as domestic sales.
Sadly there are heavy restrictions on vape sales in China – which is ironic as the majority of popular vape products in the World are manufactured there!
Flavoured e-liquid is banned plus there are extra taxes applied to the sales and production of vapes. However exporting products is encouraged and taxes can be refunded or exempt.
So for now it looks like any Wizvapor vape products cannot be shipped, people can apply for refunds or exchange their pending orders for non vape products such as the power banks or rolling papers.
