The VIY Pod Kit By VSticking Previewed
The VSticking VIY Pod Kit is a new release from a pretty new company on the scene – VSticking.
I hadn’t heard of this brand and their sadly quite amusing name (just reminds me of a “Sticky V” -I am a child) – until recently.
Their first device appears to be the VSticking VK530 mod which used the YiHi chip and became very popular as it was a nice looking mod and far cheaper than similar alternatives such as the SX Mini devices.
So to follow on from their success VSticking have released a pod mod.
This isn’t the first Pod Mod with the YiHi chip as recently Pioneer 4 You released the IPV Aspect pod mod and SX Mini have the Mi Class Pod.
Pod mods are designed to be small easy to use devices, which are usually used with high nicotine or nic salt e-liquid. Because these don’t require the high power output that Sub Ohm gear does you can get away with a smaller battery.
The main part of the device houses a 750mAh internal battery which is pretty decent for pod mods.
There is possibly 2 output levels – but this isn’t confirmed as I only saw that on a poster advertising the device. It says the high power setting is 7.8-13.8W and the low power setting is 7.8-11.5W.
You get an LED indicator light to inform you of the power mode selected and hopefully the battery level remaining.
The Pod – which is the removable “Tank” holds 1.8ml of e-liquid and contains a 1ohm SS316 coil head.
Sorry this is a bit of a vague preview the VSticking site isn’t giving much away at the moment!
There appears to be 3 colours to choose from – Red, Blue and Black.

Looks to be an interesting device! How useful the YiHi chip on a pod mod will be seems to be answered by the “Style over substance” Mi Class device from SX Mini.
