VSAVI is a UK based company manufacturing CBD based e-liquids – oils as well as vape kits and it’s their new range of ‘solo’ ingredient flavours I’m putting to the taste test.
I mean solo as in there’s no fancy ingredients to create a CBD flavoured ‘cocktail’ instead each one has a single ingredient. These can be vaped alone, or used to mix with regular or CBD based e-liquids – the choice is yours.
It wasn’t so long ago the majority of the vaping world was resisting the arrival of CBD on the scene, however, this past two years has seen an explosion in popularity with many finding vaping on CBD more convenient and some say it gets into the system more quickly.

As I’m not a medical practitioner and given the scientific community tend on the whole to refute the claims of health improvements from using CBD based products – despite a wealth of evidence out there showing the positives – I’m not allowed to extol its virtues – yeah I know!

OK the VSAVI CBD e-liquids come in 10ml bottles with a strength of 100mg with just the Apple flavour having a choice of 300 and 500mg of CBD – with the option of 30ml and 50ml bottles, and are 80/20 VG/PG – find out more about VG and PG.
I was sent 7 of the range free of charge for the purpose of this review and used the GeekVape Ammit MTL RDA for the flavour testing.
I have reviewed the VSAVI CBD vape kit in the past. This is a ‘no frills set-up which included pure CBD oil which was both tasteless [as in un-flavoured] and odourless.
Please note CBD is perfectly legal here in the UK. CBD is short for Cannabidiol and as the name suggests it is a derivative of the cannabis plant. However, in CBD the THC [Tetrahydrocannabinol] is removed during refining. Simply put users don’t get high.

Mango 100mg CBD
VSAVI Say:
The perfect mix of sweet and sour. A fresh and tropical flavour filled a sweetness that is not sugary. Known as the perfect tropical fruit because of its wonderful, slightly peculiar but delicious flavour.
I Say:
A really quite stunning smell off this one – very fresh ‘n fruity.
Inhale is almost and I say almost a tongue curler as in quite sharp. The exhale tames the sourness down a little with a definite whack of natural sweetness.
Refreshing and a very nice vape indeed.
Peach 100mg CBD
VSAVI Say:
Although a puzzling flavour to some, peach is much more than just “sweet”. Luscious with a slight hint of spice, whilst delicate and dainty. Ripe peach is a flavour you’ll have to try for yourself.
I Say:
Peach isn’t at all a ‘puzzling flavour’ to me, indeed it’s one of my favourite e-liquid flavours out there.
Once again the aroma is really quite enticing with your brain tricked into picking out the furry skin and juicy flesh inside.
Strangely it’s quite a warm tasting vape – if that makes sense – I’m guessing that’s a hint of spice maybe.
Flavour wise it’s bang on fresh peach without the hint of any unnatural sweeteners – delicious and very moreish.
Lemon 100mg CBD
VSAVI Say:
Much more than just “lemony”. It’s slightly salty, acidic and sour. Enhance the original flavour with a coating of lemon to get the taste you desire. CBD e-liquid responds well to the lemon leaving you with a fresh clean taste.
I Say:
Now this one really is a tongue curler and eye ‘scruncher!”
Wow, this one really does hit you with a full whack of that acidic sourness from a fresh lemon. I can see why they suggest you might want to mix this one with another sweeter juice.
I’m on record as loving sour natural lemon vapes and this one is right on the edge of my taste buds being able to handle it!
Fresh and zappy for sure.
Vanilla 100mg CBD
VSAVI Say:
Sweet and perfumed with hints of a woody/smoky flavour. Vanilla enhances and compliments almost all other flavours. Enjoy CBD e-liquid on its own or to complement other e liquids.
I Say:
I’m not a big fan of vanilla flavoured e-liquids and this is the first CBD of that flavour I’ve tried.
A little too sweet, but not unnaturally so, and I am indeed getting a warmth from it.
A little too heavy for me on its own and certainly not one I could vape often through the day.
With this one I do suggest you follow the manufacturer’s lead and use it in a mix with another e-liquid.
Peppermint 100mg CBD
VSAVI Say:
Much loved for its refreshing, cool, slightly sweet and minty flavour with a hint of pepper. Filled with all the wonderful terpenes present in all varieties of the mint family, this has to be a favourite to blend with CBD e-liquid.
I Say:
For someone that doesn’t tend to vape on menthol or mint I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this one so much!
Goodness me this is absolutely delicious and then some.
From the moment you whip off the top and are hit my sweet almost spicy minty notes you know you’re in for a treat.
A little stronger the Trebor Extra Strong Mints and very similar to those little white pill shaped mints in a tin you can buy at chemists.
Love it!
Orange 100mg CBD
VSAVI Say:
Slightly acidic but also sweet and tangy. A very fragrant flavour like the taste of summer sun. A flavour that combines very well with CBD e-liquid.
I Say:
Again the mixologists have nailed the smell off this one – very fresh and tangy.
The inhale is literally a mouthful of fresh not too sweet orange pulp that really is refreshing and mouth wateringly good.
The exhale is just an extension of that with your brain suggesting you need to bite down on the flesh and wipe your lips because of an explosion of juice.
Wondrous stuff!
Blueberry 100mg CBD
VSAVI Say:
Deliciously sweet but slightly acidic. Not quite fresh, but also not quite tart; a little bit of a puzzle. Some might even describe it as a touch smoky with a sweet harshness.
I Say:
Once again the aroma is simply divine with a real strong whiff of fresh blueberries and a hint of something warming behind.
The inhale threatens to be slightly over-sweetened, however, as we know slightly over-ripened blueberries do tend to sweeten up.
The exhale calms that sweetness down with the tiniest hint of natural sourness lifting it from a candied fruit flavour to an almost natural one.
This one is right on the edge of sweet but balanced beautifully.
Final Review Verdict
As I said at the start I can’t tell you the benefits of any CBD e-liquid, but what I can tell you is I’ve replaced this batch with my daily go to – Harmony which are terpene rich – bang on my taste!
I’ve used them for a week and despite being way below my normal level of CBD, I haven’t found too much of a drop in my mood nor indeed have my old bones and joints begun to grumble.
Of course, that could be due to the amount of CBD I’ve got floating around – but even at just 100mg, it’s a good pointer to those of you new to CBD and indeed regular higher strength users.
Good For the Newbies To Vaping On CBD
Also good for the newbie is the lack of terpenes over-powering the flavour. Vapers, like say our Michelle, really don’t like that taste with our ‘Shell suggesting it was like vaping on ‘mown grass’ lol.
I absolutely love the terpene taste – the stronger the better for me – however many regular and new vapers don’t and this is where this range from VSAVI comes in.
The flavours are more like regular e-liquid and can be used to make some interesting flavour combos by adding a drop to your regular juice – practice will suggest how much you’ll need.
The absolutely gorgeous smells coming from all the bottles is down to the 4% Aroma they’ve added – whatever that is it certainly works, but maybe not something the hard core ‘purists’ might like.
If clouds are you thing, the 80/20 VG/PG mix means you’re getting much more than many other CBD based e-liquids out there, but for me that’s not such a thing.
The packaging is excellent too – no fancy stuff here with eco-friendly plastic bottles and clearly marked with all the ingredients and batch numbers.
There’s no doubt these are delicious CBD based e-liquids and definitely ones I’d recommend.
