Today I’m looking at flavours in the new Vozol Neon 800 disposable vape range.
Vozol were launched back in 2018 with a very simple objective. To deliver high end vaping products, bringing joy to their consumers, anytime, anywhere through performance and consistency.
They’re certainly doing that and are now known as a world famous brand with influence in over 20 countries, globally.
It’s taken a few years but with a strong R&D team, manufacturing facilities employing over 2,500 and global network distribution, Vozol have put themselves firmly on the disposable vape map.
Indeed, disposable vapes are their strength. The Gear, Star, Switch and Alien ranges cater to both TPD audiences as well as those outside the UK and EU.
The Neon 800 is their latest venture and Vozol have adopted a few eye catching ideas to lure us in further. Let’s take a look.
What Can We Expect From the Vozol Neon 800 Disposable Vapes?
You might be wondering how a 550mAh integrated battery is capable of up to 800 puffs. That’s what we’re assured of with the Vozol Neon 800 disposables.
We’re gradually starting to see a shift in the number of puffs for one reason. The FEELM MAX ceramic coil. It’s shown up in other disposables recently and I’m here to attest that they do actually deliver the goods.
Check out the Zap! Shades Disposable Vape review as proof. There’s also a detailed run down of the coil tech in the FEELM MAX Disposable Vape review.
In essence the ceramic coil is going to give us an increase in puffs over traditional cotton based coil material.
Flavour is said to be 50% cleaner and consistent during use and vapour particles have been refined to create a ‘nano mist’.
This should result in a silky smooth inhale, up to 55% in terms of aerosol distribution.
I agree, it does all sound a bit techy but basically the Neon 800 is offering cleaner, consistent flavour over a boost in the number of puffs. We’re looking for extended use and reliability.
Appearance
But it’s not all about the tech.
The Vozol Neon 800 disposable is something of a looker in terms of colour gradients applied to the outer shell. Take a look at the example below. A neat transition from Lime Green to Purple.
The upper portion is fully transparent allowing us to view remaining E-liquid levels. This seems to be more and more relevant as disposables evolve and a design feature I fully endorse.
Nicotine strength, usage and flavour range
So the Vozol Neon 800 range of disposables are available in 0, 20 or 50mg salt nicotine strengths. I’ve received the 20mg (TPD compliant versions), but users outside the UK and EU are also catered for once again.
As with the majority of disposable vapes, these are ready to vape straight out of the box and auto draw is the order of the day. A single LED on the base will illuminate during use and inform of when the battery has had enough.
You can pick the range up in 15 different flavours ranging from fruits, tobacco, drinks and menthol categories.

OK, let’s move on to sampling some of the flavours.
Vozol haven’t provided any flavour descriptions so it’s up to me alone to describe what they’re like. The flavour, consistency, vapour production, battery performance and of course – number of puffs will all be disclosed.
Rainbow Candy
I Say:
This one packs a sweet, fruity punch.
The overriding flavour is Orange and it’s been added quite effectively, avoiding the usual trappings. Generally it tastes powdery and synthetic in a disposable vape but a sweet, candy edge keeps things driving along quite nicely.
There’s maybe just a hint or two of Apple thrown in but those notes aren’t really recognisable until further on in the exhale.
The general theme of Rainbow Candy is always going to be about the sweetness and you’ll get that by the vape load, here.
If I’m honest, it’s a bit too much for me. I’m not over keen on the wetness it leaves on the tongue.
The cooling agent can also be a distraction. The vape is loaded with that too.
One thing you can be assured of though is flavour intensity. So expect plenty of that alongside the sweetness and slicing icy exhale.
Strawberry Raspberry Cherry
I Say:
Wow! How to pull off a multi flavoured profile in a disposable vape.
That’s what Vozol have achieved with Strawberry Raspberry Cherry. This is a flavour blend I could happily vape all day long. Ok, not one of the included fruits is particularly natural tasting but if you’re looking for a sweets inspired vape, look no further.
Of course this does mean plenty of sweetness but it’s not incessant to the level of say, Rainbow Candy. That makes it more accessible and much less sickly.
So I will attest that the Cherry is the brighter, more dominant taste here but the bulk of the exhale is all about that fusion of fruit. Raspberry lingers in the background and Strawberry brings up the rear before all three flavour components mix in a very effective way.
And that flavour is once again very intense, very bold. It never lets up and if anything actually broadens out as the vape develops. All good stuff.
The cooling agent is something of a distraction but ultimately adds a refreshing quality.
Watermelon Bubblegum
I Say:
Another day, another Watermelon Bubblegum vape.
However this one has been done quite well. It’s an odd thing to state but it works because there’s less sweetener applied. I honestly expected this one to be laden with the stuff.
And I’m digging the Watermelon, which actually does have a natural freshness. It’s not the generic, oily based version oft associated with disposable vapes.
Its qualities are quite raw while at the same time also somewhat subdued when it comes to the exhale.
I’m very surprised at how well the Bubblegum works with the fruit. And yes, the taste is there in all its glory. Who’d have thunk it?!
Imagine its flavour after a few minutes of chewing and that’s the experience. So again, a very finely tuned balancing act between fruit and gum and one Vozol have done very well.
Possibly teetering on the edges of complexity, this work of art is ably assisted by an icy cold inhale that just compliments the overall vaping experience.
Watermelon Bubblegum is proof that there’s always room for improvement with a tried and tested flavour formula.
Kiwi Passionfruit Guava
I Say:
A lot of sweetness builds on the inhale with this one but the cooling effect does a good job, chilling the throat shortly afterwards.
It packs a hefty punch in terms of flavour with the Kiwi taking centre stage throughout. The Passionfruit and Guava give the vape a slightly rougher feel but that’s pretty much what I was expecting.
Kiwi Passionfruit Guava is certainly up there as a fruity, tropical vape and it doesn’t taste forced, that’s to say artificial or synthetic. I do think it’s let down by too much sweetness but that seems to be all the rage with disposables.
So it’s intense with the flavour, balanced with the Koolada but overboard for sweetness.
It could almost be classed as a beverage inspired profile because it does and will quench the thirst in the same way.
Not a bad choice at all, especially with the weather being rather hot of late.
Cream Tobacco
I Say:
Sometimes Tobacco based E-liquid can be so far off the mark, it’s comical. How does Cream Tobacco fare?
Not too bad at all. With one exception. It doesn’t really remind me of a Tobacco vape. Sure there are a few subtle back note references but nothing that really replicates the taste of this addictive plant.
I find it’s more about hints of Caramel and definitely Vanilla notes, both highly noticeable from the very first exhale.
And there’s a smoothness I never really associate with Tobacco. So it lives up to the creamier aspect of the description for sure.
Vozol seem to have deliberately toned down the leafy aspects in favour of a vape better suited over a hot cup of Latte. In this respect, making it an ideal accompaniment.
I’m also pleased that there doesn’t appear to be any icy content. From a personal perspective that would have seen the score line dropping – it doesn’t belong in a Tobacco vape unless of course it’s Menthol based.
It also avoids the pitfalls of tasting dry on the exhale which is another bonus.
Vzbull
I Say:
A nice refreshing Summer vape.
It never quite hits the flavour intensity of the real thing but the majority of us know what to expect from a can of Red Bull. We get this here, if a little bit subdued.
I thought Vanilla was present by the vape load, driving at the very heart of the exhale. With the spicier, more uplifting notes swiftly overlapping.
And I was pleased how Vozol managed to keep the sweeter elements at bay – They’re clearly present but never to the point of being sickly sweet. That has been a criticism of mine with other variations on the theme.
This is a vape that wouldn’t be the same without the chill factor and again, expect it to play a major part in the taste experience.
So everything combines and harmonises pretty effectively with Vzbull. If you like the popular drink, you’re gonna like this.
Battery Performance and Number of Puffs
Where to start!
I vaped each one for a minimum of 12 hours..
That easily means 800 puffs or more. But there was a worrying trend with each one of the disposables. The E-liquid levels seemed to take an eternity to drop. Therein lies part of the problem I had with performance.
As soon as I’d vaped around 50% of the E-liquid, flavour quality just seemed to nose dive. That would be after around 5-6 hours of use. It’s hard to describe because nothing tasted burnt. Just a funky, hollow taste. Almost as if the battery was failing.
Yet it continued to perform for much, much longer. Vapour production remained excellent but I could no longer tolerate the weird flavour experience I was getting.
So I gave up after 12 hours of use. That was long enough for me, wondering when the battery would actually cease to function.
A very strange performance. Almost like a vape of two halves.
Final Review Verdict
So flavour consistency only applies up to a certain period of time. I’d suggest that’s in the region of 5-6 hours. During this time the Vozol Neon 800 vapes like a trooper, delivering the goods with flavour and vapour production. Zero complaints.
If you continue to vape you’ll notice a sharp and sudden degradation to the taste. Curiously, vapour production is unhampered.
Could it be that the battery just doesn’t know when to fail? It certainly felt that way to me. For the life of me, I couldn’t understand why E-liquid levels were taking so long to drop.
I could put that down to ceramic coil efficiency. There was easily around 25% left by the time I had to call time on the disposables.
A super hot performance for the first half a dozen hours, funky and frustrating for the next six.
Take out of that what you will.
