The VooPoo Too is from a relatively new vape brand based out of China. They were established in 2014 and are a rapidly growing e-cigarette company.
They have created a number of different hardware products tailored for those at entry through to experienced level, such as the Drag range of mods, the Alpha One and The Newbie. They have also released tanks and RDA’s as well like the Demon RDA and the Uforce tank T1.
Today we are going to take a good look at the Too Kit which includes the Uforce Tank by Voopoo!

Design and Build Quality
The Voopoo Too kit comes in a plain box with a paper sleeve.
The Voopoo Too Mod
I have the dazzle foil version, and to be very honest it looks really nice with my rainbow Hellvape Dead Rabbit RDA sat on top. The mod runs the Gene chipset 1.5 which is an updated version to that of the chipset in the Drag.
From the top down, the mod has a flush 510 connection the threads are really well done, the connection pin is gold plated and spring loaded.
The battery doors are magnetic slide doors and are removable they are also lettered A&B along the leading edges.Mine have a foil coating on the outside and resin panels on the inside. The outside of doors have a sloped effect making the mod comfortable to hold. Both doors operated ok with a slight crunching when you open them.
The body of the Voopoo Too is constructed from Aircraft Grade Aluminium & Zinc Alloy, and the Too Mod works with either 1 or 2 18650 batteries giving either 80 or 180w of power,Branding, while not as blatant as the Drag, still occupies 3 sides of the Too modThe front of the mod has the 0.91 inch OLED screen and the normal fire and adjustment buttons, you will also see that a micro usb port for charging/updates resides under the adjustment buttons.
The base of the mod houses venting and the usual markings.
The Voopoo Uforce Tank
The 24mm diameter Uforce tank dismantles into 5 pieces for easy cleaning and is made of stainless steel, Pyrex glass and Delrin.
Base – Bottom has a gold plated connection pin and houses the pre installed (0.4 Ω) coil. It has a Cylon type adjustable airflow with 3 slots and a red O ring for the glass to sit on. Top cap/fill port/chimney – First thing you will notice is the UFORCE branding on the tank. The assembly is one piece and screws to the coil with the glass in between, this section also has a silicone bung that restricts the tank to 2ml in the UK version, this is removable.
The fill port is handled by a top fill slide cap. Inside the fill port is a silicone gasket and 2 O rings to help the cap sit comfortably on the glass. The wide bore drip tip is made from Delrin with a SS ring around the base.
I would say both the mod and the tank are of good quality and designed well.
A Basic How To Guide
Prep the coil before first use! Drip some eliquid onto the cotton screw back into the base, and assemble the tank.
Open the fill port by pushing on the mark with your thumb, fill with a liquid of your choice, set aside for 10 minutes so the cotton can soak up the e-liquid.
Screw the tank on your mod and you’re ready to enjoy your first vape with the Too kit by VooPoo. By default the mod is set to Power (wattage), to change modes by following the instructions from the manual they are clear and easy to understand.
How Does The Voopoo Too Kit Perform?
Outside of the Evolv DNA chip not many mods can fire as low as 0.05 Ω and be as reliable, the Gene 1.5 chipset can and is.
I have filled the Uforce tank with e-liquid from Obies brew called “Milk” for this part of the review.
The coil that is pre installed in the Uforce is 0.4 Ω and rated from 40 to 80w
40W
Airflow set to half, a fairly cool but a fair amount of vapour with straight to lung style.
60 to 70w
60w With the airflow wide and vaping direct to lung (DTL) style I get a nice warm vape with plenty of vapour, I found for me that from 70W the tank generated a fair bit of spit back! Not very nice of it lol.
Changing out for my Dead Rabbit and a pair of SS316 Flapton coils 0.08 Ω and a liquid by Juice Junkies called “Junkies Custard”
60 to 125W
The Voopoo Too Mod performed very well all the way up to 125W with good flavour and vapour, over 120W and the vape became too hot for me.
Pulse mode
Designed for higher wattage vaping the “S” mode sends a pulse like action to your coil, it was off putting for me at first as I thought something was wrong with the mod – now I quite enjoy it.
Temperature control
As always I like to test the Temp Control of a mod out even if I don’t use it much myself, at 80W and 420f and 500f with SS mode the mod performed wonderfully with no misfires.
Dry burn test
While working in TC I like to see if a mod will burn the cotton I do this with one coil (SS316L) and dry cotton installed, pressing the fire button up to 5 times for around a second each press – at 40w 420f the cotton did show yellow banding.
Chain Vaping
At 60w and in TC 80w / 420f the unit was able to keep up with me and my Dead Rabbit RDA.
Doors
The doors annoy me a lot I find myself fiddling with them, I’ve had the mod now for about a month and have just noticed some slight bubbling under the foil.
Battery life
At 60W a pair of Sony vtc5a’s will last me just about 4.5 hours
Charging/updates
While you can charge your batteries via the usb port, as they say the unit has balanced charging, I would still recommend you charge using a standalone charger. You will need to go to the VooPoo support site for firmware updates, full instructions will be found there.
Predictive wattage
The Gene chip has a feature of predictive wattage when you screw on your atty it will ask if it’s a new coil Y or N. If Y it will auto set the wattage for the coil you have installed, e.g. 0.08 Ω = 109w, this can be a shock if you’re not ready for it lol.
Pros
- Both have good design and build quality
- Uforce tank good flavour and vapour production
- Works well with TC
- Good battery life
Cons
- No real big concerns with either the mod or the tank
- Slightly crunchy doors
- Slight bubbling of the foil after 1 months use
Final Review Verdict
Apart from the updated chipset the VooPoo Too really isn’t exactly what I would call unique. Yes it looks good and feels good in the hand compared to either the Drag or the Alpha One but I can’t understand why anyone would want to put 1 battery in it as opposed to 2. I would have preferred to have see a double battery sled instead of 1 each side.
Would I buy the Voopoo Too kit again if lost or damaged? One word “No”
Hello! I like your video review of the VooPoo Too. I have charged my batteries for it, primed and filled the tank and am ready for vaping with it. But I’m very new to vaping and I don’t want to start puffing until I understand everything. This is a big step up from the simple mod I started with. What is the ohms number for? Why is it different? What do I need to know about this and what ranges for this number? I don’t want to operate it under unsafe settings. Please let me know, Thanks!
Hey Jeff, thanks for your comment m8! have a look at https://www.ecigclick.co.uk/electrickery-a-guide-to-volts-ohms-and-resistence-in-ecigs/ this will tell you everything you will need to know about oHms, basically the oHms is the resistance of your coil in the tank or RDA, standard premade stock coils like the ones that come with the TOO Kit are safe to use.
I hope the link will be of help to you cheers Kevin.
