The Voopoo Find S Trio pod system is from a brand that even the newest vaper may recognise.
Voopoo have released an abundance of kit, Mods and Pods alike. The excellent Voopoo Drag 2 and Drag Mini firmly put the brand on the map.
I think the main thing that highlights Voopoo as a company is their Gene Chip and how well it performs.
There are hundreds of pod kits available and with a limited amount bringing anything new to the table.
So at this stage in the pod game, it will probably take something a little special to get people away from what they already have or even make a new pod system stand out in an already flooded market.
What Can We Expect From The Voopoo Find S Trio Pod Mod?
Does the Voopoo Find S Trio have that edge to make it stand out, does it bring any innovation to the table, let’s find out.
Compared to a lot of Pod Kits out there, the Voopoo Find S Trio is certainly a lot bigger than most but there is a big reason for that. The Voopoo Find S Trio houses a huge 1200mAh, internal battery.
I received the Find S Trio in a very nice looking orange and black. Though it is a little bigger than most, it does sit nicely in the hand and fits nicely into my pocket. The Voopoo Find S Trio comes in 6 colours in total.
As with so many pod systems lately this offers the vaper the best of both worlds. A Mouth to Lung (MTL) and Direct to Lung (DTL) vape via two differing coils. You get a 1.2ohm coil for MTL vaping and a 0.8ohm coil for a DTL vape.

The Voopoo Find S Trio pod system was sent to me for review. As always, I will give you my own, honest opinion of this product after a lengthy testing period. Can it make it onto our best rated pod system list?

Design and Build Quality
The design of this pod system is good. It has a nice ergonomic feel to it and it sits nicely in your hand. The material used is both metal and plastic but does look very good together.
The pod features an internal 1200mAh battery with fillable pods and replaceable coils. You have a 0.8ohm coil for a DTL Vape and a 1.2ohm ceramic coil for an MTL vape.
The black, weave plastic does look very good against the metallic orange I have and works a lot better than if it was smooth in my opinion.
You have an LED indicator on the front, this lights up as you turn the device on. To turn the device on and off you press the front button 5 times in quick succession.
This button also fires the device to vape.
The LED surrounding the fire button has 3 light indicators to show battery level.
- Green: >60% charge
- Blue: 20 – 60% charge
- Red: < 20%
There are no visible vent holes on the body of the Voopoo Find S Trio.
How Does The Voopoo Find S Trio Perform?
The Voopoo Find S Trio performs OK.
That’s to say it vapes much like most other, middle of the road, average pod systems.
Throughout the two week test, I have vaped one week using each coil but the restricted DTL coil has performed far better than the provided MTL coil. More on that below.
A lot of Pod Systems or certainly All In One Pod systems have changeable airflow, unfortunately, the Voopoo Find S Trio doesn’t.
Changing and filling the Pod
- Remove the Pod from the battery. Make sure your fingers aren’t greasy in the slightest or you may well struggle due to super strong magnets.
- Locate the rubber bung
- Lift this up, fill your e-liquid of choice, close it up and re-insert the pod and to the device.
- If you have a new coil wait for 5 minutes for your e-liquid to soak in then you are good to go.
To change out the old coil:
- Turn the Pod upside down. You will see the coil which has been inserted into the pod.
- Get hold of the coil with your finger nails, if you have no finger nails, you may well have to use a small screw driver to prize the coil out, lift the coil out of the pod.
- Replace with new coil, press firmly home.
- You do not have to screw in the coil, just a firm push will do the job.
Flavour and Vapour
Ok, with any pod system, you aren’t going to get exceptional flavour. Pod systems are built for ease of use, new vapers and for portability. With the Voopoo Find S Trio, I was a little let down with the flavour and the longevity of the coils.
One coil was used for 4 days, the other for a full 7 days.
Pnp-C1 1.2ohm Ceramic Coil
I used 50/50 Nic Salts (Vape Dinner Lady Strawberry Macaroon).
At first, I got a good MTL vape with some pretty good flavour. I carried on using the Find S Trio as I would normally do with any pod system. Around half way through the third day, I noticed a quite sudden drop in flavour.
I carried on through the third day and onto the fourth with a very clear reduction in flavour. With no obvious sign of it getting any better the coil was taken out.
The flavour started off well but this is the first coil to die on me as quick as it did.

Pnp-R1 0.8ohm coil
Using a 70VG/30PG e-liquid with 3mg nicotine as a restricted DTL vape I found the performance of the coil over 7 days was constant with good flavour, a relief considering how bad the first coil had performed.
You can clearly see above, the different size wicking holes in the coils and the difference between the MTL and DTL coil
I didn’t have a hint of a dry hit once from either of the coils provided.
As I always say with Pod kits, you aren’t going to get massive clouds though you certainly get a bigger, denser cloud from the 0.8ohm coil.
Battery Life
As you can imagine, a Pod System of this size with an internal battery of 1200mAh, it literally lasts for days.
With the 1.2ohm coil, MTL vaping, there was still plenty of battery life after 2 days though I had to charge it up as I was out the next day without means to charge the pod.
Using the 0.8ohm coil as a restricted DTL Vape, I managed almost 2 days which I thought was pretty good indeed. It wasn’t used as my main device but it was used almost constantly throughout the day.
You are also looking at around 2 hours 30 minutes for a full charge on the Voopoo Find S Trio from <30% battery life.
Pros
- Sleek Looks
- Ergonomic Mouthpiece
- MTL and DTL Changeable Coils
- Good Flavour
- Battery longevity
- Rugged
Cons
- Very poor life from PnP-C1 1.2ohm ceramic coil
Final Review Verdict
I was expecting a lot more from Voopoo on this one, I really was. After testing I felt a little deflated.
Whilst the restricted DTL coil performed well, the MTL coil was a massive fail in my opinion.
Lets face it, no one buys a pod system for a restricted DTL vape do they?
Now, I’m not sure if it was due to a defective coil, it sometimes happens but something was certainly wrong. I would certainly welcome the release of other coils to see what the performance is like from the kit.
I liked the design, I liked the look and feel but the main component, the coils were very underwhelming.

I was juat bought a find s trio . The flavor was the best compare with other and I also have ipv aspect both of them is great now try use find s trio so that have a good flavoring
I’ve been using the find s trio for weeks now and it’s a pretty decent one for a begginer as myself. I do t see any major issues here. The battery life is pretty good. The 0.8 coil is significantly better and runs longer than the 1.2 coil. So if you’ve lost your 0.8 I’d suggest just getting another one rather than using the spare 1.2 thats given to you if you like more dense smoke and richer flavor. Doesn’t take that long to charge fully and it’s very mobile and easy to operate. Overall nic job VOOPOO🔥
