The VooPoo FIND S is from a company that, in my opinion, are best known for silky smooth looking mods, shiny chrome and a massive DRAG design on one side.
What they’ve created with the new FIND S kit, is something completely opposite to what I enjoy most about them.
The FIND S mod is made from plastic, with a weird diagonal design, funny feeling ridges around the whole thing – and then they added a silicon hand-strap to it?
Talk about a change in direction – literally!
What Can We Expect From The FIND S kit by VooPoo?
Featuring a built-in 4400mAh battery and a handle, the FIND S mod looks pretty smart and simple to use, and comes with the UFORCE T2 tank, which has been VooPoo’s go-to-tank for quite a while now.
It’s fair to say this is a kit designed for the everyday vaper who is looking for that step into Sub-Ohm vaping, whilst not having to worry about external batteries and building their own coils.
So let’s Crack On and see if the Find S Kit turns out to be one of the best box mods this year…

Colours
The Mod comes in a number of colours and the UForce T2 tank appears to be a polished Piano Black with the resin drip-tip to match the colour of the mod.
Design and Build Quality
I received the Primary Yellow version of the Find Kit which came with a very polished Black Uforce T2 Tank
The Tank
Drip Tip &Top Cap:
Right at the top is a resin 810 drip-tip which is a little thin in my opinion, but its nice and snug within the top-cap, however there is no internal O-Ring so you’ll only be able to use certain Drip-Tips that have an O-Ring installed into them.
Top Fill Port:
With a nice ‘slide-to-fill’ action via a gentle press on the little arrow, you can access the filling port which is a little small for your gorilla style bottles but also includes a semi-covered silicon grommet for less chance of leakage.
Glass & Bubble Glass:
In the box is a 5ml Bubble glass and pre-installed is the 2ml TPD compliant tank.
The Base:
At the base is all the usual ‘Manufactured in’ information along with the Voodoo logo. No batch number though?
Tank – Overall:
The UFORCE T2 tank is tried and tested and its extremely easy to assemble, and disassemble for cleaning and replacing coils.
The filling port could be a little bigger but that’s purely due to my careless pouring of e-liquid in most cases.
The Mod:
510 Connector:
The 510 connection at the top is super smooth and super springy. If you fit anything bigger than a 28mm atomiser, you’re going to see some overhang.
Located at the bottom of the screen side is your Micro USB port for charging and firmware upgrades.
The Front of the Device
Up top is the slightly indented fire button which clicks lovely and feels very nice on the thumb due to the indentation.
Below that is the screen which looks quite outdated, but it’s very simple and clear.
However, you won’t be able to see a thing in sunlight, or in fact any daylight. And there is no option to make the screen any brighter.
There is a sneaky screen protector on there as well which doesn’t help – but removing it made little to no difference to the visibility of the screen in brightish conditions.
Externals:
The mod has a very unusual grooved pattern all over it, with vertical lines and a diagonal break in the middle of the mod to separate the 2 colours.
Quite unusual but it stands out. It’s just a shame its all-plastic because it does feel quite cheap and breakable.
The silicon strap on the opposite end to the screen is nice, smooth and stretchy, but it’s a little small for my hands.
I’ve never had to mention this in a vape review before but I struggle to fit any more than 2 fingers through the loop… Glad that’s over with!
Gene Chip
The heartbeat of most Voopoo mods, the Gene chip is one of the best in the business. This particular version is the Gene.FIT chip. It offers all the safety features, the FIT function (more on that below) and a 0.01s firing speed. To top it off the chip is protected by a V0 fireproof bridge that also blocks dust, liquid and burnout.
The Mod – Overall:
The FIND S mod is a nice functional device, it looks pretty cool but it just feels quite cheaply made in every aspect. It’s a very simple bit of kit in essence with all the main features you need whilst keeping simplicity in mind.
In The Hand
Time to make your choice! Do you utilise the small yet obvious strap designed to assist you in carrying your mod, or do you completely ignore the fact it’s even there and hold the device with your fingers wrapped around it?
The choice is yours, but either way this is a mod that part of your hand will enjoy, and the other hand will hate.
With your fingertips wrapped around, or within the silicon strap they sit nice and comfortable whilst the rest of your hand is being pressed against a plastic, grooved surface which can feel a little annoying, and those grooves are also a juice trap (if you happen to have a little leak) which makes this device a pig to clean.
How To Fill The Tank
- Locate the Downwards arrow above the UFORCE text
- Push the top-cap section across to expose the Juice port
- Fill with your desired eliquid
- Wipe away any e-liquid if you’ve spilt any
- Slide the top-cap back across into position until it clicks.
The Coils
The kit comes with 2 mesh coils, and there is also an abundance of compatible coils for the UFORCE T2 tank which is excellent, yet confusing.
It gives you a massive range of options, but how on earth are you ever going to find out which is the best? Unless you buy a set of all of them – which quite frankly would end up costing you more than the kit itself!
The Voopoo FIND S kit came with:
- P2 Single Mesh Coil, rated at 0.6Ω with a recommended wattage of 24-28w
- N3 Triple Mesh Coil, rated at 0.2Ω with a recommended wattage of 75-85w
How Does the Voopoo FIND S Kit Perform?
Basic operation
Front screen shows:
- Wattage/Temperature
- Resistance of your coil
- Voltage
- Previous Puff time
- Battery indicator (For 2 batteries?)
The Menu
Theres a small number of button sequences to remember to operate this device:
- 5 clicks of the fire button will turn the device on and off.
- 3 clicks of the fire button will quickly scroll between Wattage, Temp Control and the FIT Power option.
- Press and hold the fire button and ‘+’ will lock all the buttons
- Press and hold the fire button and ‘-‘ will flip the screen 180 degrees
- Press and hold + and – will open the menu options.
Menu Options
OPTION W – Basically a long way round putting the device into wattage mode
OPTION M – Lets you to set up to 5 different pre-set power modes
OPTION SN – Will show the GENE Chip Serial Number
OPTION VER – Will show you the Firmware Version.
The settings are as simple as that. Generally I found that changing any settings using the 3-clicks of the fire button the best and simplest way to alter what I wanted.
FIT Option.
FIT Power option is a smart feature from VooPoo which allows the device to choose the best wattage depending on the coil installed. And it works quite well.
With every installation of a new coil, or even just by re-fitting the tank, the mod automatically chooses the best wattage output to suit the coil. Extremely handy for those unsure what wattage is best when they’re starting out.
Flavour & Clouds
For the duration of my testing, I was vaping on Twisted by Vapable.
- For flavour ideas check out our best vape juice options.
The N3 0.2Ω Triple Mesh Coil (75-85w)
I generally kept this coil at the 75-80w mark, with the airflow wide open. And it delivers a lovely smooth warm vape, with a lot of flavour. Not the best flavour I’ve had from a kit-tank – But it certainly chucks some clouds and delivers a decent vape.
I’d put this coil up there with the 0.15Ω Triple mesh coils that come with the tank used on the Vandy Vape Swell, and Jackaroo kits.
Overall decent flavour, and a lovely cloud chucker
The P2 0.6Ω Single Mesh Coil (24-28w)
This one surprised me – first off lets not ignore the fact this is a battery saving coil – rated at 24-28w. I enjoyed vaping this at its maximum 28watts with the airflow wide open – And although the cloud may not be as substantial or as dense as the triple mesh coil, it certainly gives very good flavour and a fair enough cloud.
Very pleasantly surprised by this coil – certainly a great option if you want to make the most of the 4400mAh battery and use the device for more than a day before charging.
One thing to note. The P2 coil will not fit in the TPD version of the U-Force 2 tank.
Coils Overall
Both coils wick very well and even when pushing the wattage up by 10-20watts above the recommended, they both took the abuse and I experienced no dry hits.
They also last a long time. Both coils have had heavy use for a week each almost and that includes some stress testing at higher wattages and both still performing like the day I installed them.
Airflow
The airflow is nice and smooth, maybe a slight whistle but its only very slight and not all the time.
Well, its not a whistle as such, but a weird annoying background noise, like if the air is trying to escape from a travel mug? Or like a bee is trying to escape… Odd.
Knock the airflow down halfway and it settles down a lot. But I just wasn’t quite getting enough airflow at those higher wattages.
Generally speaking though, if you like a slightly restrictive vape – halfway on the airflow is perfect and doesn’t put much pressure on the coils.
Battery Life
4400mAh is A LOT of capacity for a kit. In fact its probably one of the highest capacities and with the fact it can handle 120 watts – that’s very impressive.
The last time I used a device with this much internal capacity, I was using the Eleaf iStick Power 80w which had a 5000mAh internal battery, but only a maximum of 80w.
If you’re planning on using the 0.2Ω coil, at around 80watts. You may find the battery doesn’t quite last the day. But as always this all depends on how often you vape.
And this is where the 0.6Ω coil comes into play – at just 28watts, I’ve enjoyed over 2 days use no problem, and still some power in the mod.
However, the battery does die off quicker than the battery indicators state. Once down to 2 bars, you notice a slight tail off.
And what’s with the 2, yes 2 battery indicators? I’m not quite sure but it says to me that there are basically 2 batteries in here, and looking at the size of the mod, they might just be 2 18650 batteries or very similar?
Nonetheless, a 120w maximum power and 4400mAh capacity are more than enough.
Just be aware if you decide to stick an RDA or RTA on this, and vape at 100watts, expect to be charging this device more than once a day.
Charging
Charging the device is simple enough using the Micro USB port, and it doesn’t take too long to charge considering its capacity.
During my testing, it’s taken around 1.5hrs on a 2.1A charge. Which I believe is a little over the recommended input charge current. The manual states a 1.8A charge maximum capacity so it may be that you could damage the battery, or limit its life by charging at this rate.
So perhaps stick to charging the device via a 1A charge, which will take a little longer, but will prolong the battery life.
Durability
With regards to the UFORCE T2 tank, its obvious you can easily smash the glass, especially with the 5ml bubble glass installed. But its quite well built and all fit really well so I have no major concerns with the durability of the tank.
The mod itself doesn’t feel like its really built to last – it’s got that rough plastic texture which creaks when you squeeze it and you can almost separate the different parts just using your fingernails.
So I’m pretty sure after a couple of drops, you’ll start to notice bits coming off or shaking loose.
Also, the grooves in the mod are a dirt, dust and e-liquid magnet which is an absolute pain to clean. I found myself using a cotton bud to remove embedded dirt from the sides of the mod.

Final Review Verdict
Despite its flaws, its cheap feel and cheesy silicon strap, I can see exactly where this kit would sit in a busy market.
For those who have delved into the Vaping world and picked up a basic vape starter kit from their local supermarket, they may find themselves looking for that next step after a few months.
And that’s where I really see the FIND S kit stepping up and helping those vapers get to the next level.
It’s extremely simple to use and with the added option of FIT mode, it takes the stress of worrying about what power setting to be on out of the equation.
Also the fact it’s a very compact kit, with an internal battery and a massive amount of coil options available.
So the 3 big questions I ask when testing a product are:
Would this device be long-lasting and still work 3, 6 or even 12 months from now?
As long as you take care of the mod, the battery capacity alone will see you long into 2020, even 2021 – I just worry that it wouldn’t take much to damage/break this Mod.
With regards to the tank, its a flavour banger with a multitude of coil options and I doubt VooPoo have any immediate plans to scrap the range and move to a different style.
Does this device deliver the flavour, vapour and general experience I require, in order to be enjoyed?
Its certainly an enjoyable kit, the tank performs really well and as much as I don’t enjoy the feeling of the device in my hand, I can’t fault the performance or the vaping experience I get from the Find S Kit.
Is the VooPoo FIND S Kit versatile enough to suit a new and experienced vapers?
For those looking for their first Sub-Ohm kit, and even those looking for a new daily kit – this is ideal.
It certainly delivers the flavour with both coils and the 0.6Ω has the added bonus of being a massive battery lifesaver – ideal if you don’t see yourself having a chance to charge the device for a day or 3.
