The Voopoo Argus A is the latest addition to the wonderful Argus range.
The Voopoo Argus range have included some epic pod kits including the Argus G, Argus G2, Argus P2, Argus G2 Mini and Argus E40.
What To Expect From The Voopoo Argus A?
This is a pod kit consisting of two main components – the device and the replaceable / refillable pod.
The main feature for me with this kit is the actual design – it looks crazy! Plus it is absolutely packed with clever features!
Voopoo say it has “Dual Displays” – which translates as 2 screen areas. One is circular and has animated displays when vaping and the upper screen is laid out like a dial on a car dashboard.
Around the screen are lights too but you can turn off the screen and/or the lights if you choose.
The device also tracks your usage and will report on your puffs in total, daily and vaping times.
Plus it will show the pod resistance on screen and display the recommended power limits.
A vibrating motor informs you of device alerts.
Inside the mod is a 1100mAh battery charged via USB Type C at a 2A charge rate. Voopoo state this should fully charge in 40 minutes.
The output is adjustable from 5-30W depending on the user mode selected.
You can select from 3 user modes:
- Power Mode – means you have a variable wattage adjustment so you can select the output you require.
- Super Mode – gives a full power for the pod installed – you cannot adjust the output in this mode.
- ECO Mode – this provides the most economical battery and e-liquid consumption – you cannot adjust the output in this mode.
You have a slide switch to manually turn the device on or off to help prevent accidental activation.
On the opposite side is the sliding airflow adjustment to tailor the incoming airflow to your preference.
You can either manually press the button to fire or use the auto draw and simply inhale on the mouthpiece.
This is compatible with the Argus Pod devices and you get the 0.4ohm and 0.7ohm top fill pods included in the kit.
You can also purchase the empty pods and use the Voopoo ITO replaceable coils.
The fixed coil pods have a top fill port and will hold up to 3ml of your own e-liquid. This is reduced to 2ml for TPD regulated areas.
You can choose from 8 colours: Phantom Black, Storm Silver, Pearl White, Crystal Pink, Azure Blue, Phantom Red, Phantom Purple and Racing Green.
