In for review are the Vecee Luke disposable vapes.
Vecee hit the disposable vape scene in late Summer of 2021 with their first release, the V1. The next three in the V series swiftly followed, each with an increase in E-liquid and battery capacity rendering them suitable only to areas outside of Europe and the UK.
That trend continued with the likes of the Maze, Gala and Arex disposables.
However the Shenzhen based manufacturer hasn’t ignored TPD regulated zones and the Picco and Fino disposables are proof of this.
So is the oddly titled Luke.
Vecee is a shortening of the words vital and exceptional. That also happens to be their moto.
Let’s see if their latest offering lives up to the moto, shall we?
What Can We Expect From the Vecee Luke Disposable Vapes?
As stated the Vecee Luke disposable is fully TPD compliant. It contains 2ml of E-liquid with a 20mg nicotine salt strength. There are currently no other strengths to choose from.
It utilises a mesh coil (I’m not certain of the resistance) and the 400mAh integrated battery is designed to last for anything up to 600 puffs.
What seems to differentiate the Luke from other disposables is the viewing window. We’ve seen this before with the likes of the IVG Calipro where the mouthpiece acts as a visualiser.
But in this case Vecee have attempted to mimic the style of the humble vape pen. In my mind that’s either a nod to those devices or a simply another way of putting them in the shade. I can’t make up my mind on that one..
Now comes the interesting part. Pay attention at the back!
Vecee have incorporated a juice locking system (JLS) into the mouthpiece. It’s taken over 100 tests to ensure 100% functionality with different flavours and nicotine strengths.
What it basically does is act as an on/off switch. Simply turn the mouthpiece 45 degrees counter clockwise to close the juice and airflow off. Vecee state it’s a way to interpret vivid flavour and to seal E-liquid into the device when not in use.
.. I’ve never known a disposable to leak as yet but who am I to argue?
Important note: Each disposable arrives with the mouthpiece in the closed position. When you turn the mouthpiece for the first time you must let the E-liquid soak into the cotton for at least two minutes before vaping.
In fact I would suggest extending that period to five minutes.
Failure to do this will result in a burning of the cotton which will render the device useless!
So the Vecee Luke comes in 10 different flavours ranging from fruits, drinks and Tobacco. Expect the usual overlapping of Menthol with most if not all of these.

A huge thanks to Vecee for sending these over for the purposes of review.
Please remember these are my own thoughts. They’re not set in stone. My experiences may vary from yours so use my observations as a guiding beacon as to what to expect.
Since I was unable to track down any flavour description cards I’m going in blindfolded.
Wish me luck!
Kiki Berry
I Say:
Kiki Berry.. I’ve heard of Kiwi Berry so this is a new one on me!
The word kiki does relate to a sharp, acidic or even crisp flavour so let’s see what we get.
This is actually a very pleasant taste and quite a complex arrangement. My brain is going into overdrive with just how to describe things..
First and foremost Kiki Berry is a very, very sweet vape. It permeates both inhale and exhale leaving a lasting impression on the roof of the mouth.
The flavour is aromatic and evokes the taste of Turkish Delight. Yet also hidden in there is a medley of pleasant berries. I get Strawberry and Blackberry as the strongest on offer.
Naturally, for a disposable neither are particularly realistic but as a coming together of flavours this is a decent vape.
On a scale of 1-10 the Menthol intensity would rate as a 7 so not throat cutting as to ruin the vape experience.
Maybe a touch heavy on that sweetener, though.
Mango Peach
I Say:
I failed to follow the advice mentioned earlier – resulting in a continuous burnt taste.
Mango Peach has been removed from the overall score.
My bad! Apologies. Clearly a case of do as I say. Not as I do! lol
Nana Land
I Say:
There’s no mistaking the characteristic taste of this yellow, bendy fruit. Again, there’s an over abundance of sweetener.
This makes the vaping experience something of a sickly affair given that we’re dealing with a single fruit profile.
Be prepared to accept the foam sweetie version of the fruit too. That won’t come as a surprise to fans of Banana disposable vapes but personally?
I live in the hopes of a more natural, authentic tasting vape.
Menthol does its best to liven and invigorate the experience but fails to take the edge of that incessant sweetness.
Orange Soda
I Say:
A highly refreshing vape. This time the Menthol plays perfectly into the hands of the flavoursome Orange.
But don’t be expecting miracles if you’re a seasoned disposable vaper. You’re getting the usual synthetic version of the fruit, totally devoid of any real citric qualities.
Instead it’s wrapped around copious amounts of sweetener. It’s also a bit drier on the exhale than an authentic, natural Orange.
As much as the sweetness of the vape tries to replace the juicier properties of this tropical fruit it never quite pulls it off.
So if you’re thinking of beverages think of the vending machine type.
But as I say, Orange Soda is still very refreshing, has plenty of flavour and works to its own merits.
Tobacco Chill
I Say:
This isn’t particularly the way I would enjoy a tobacco based disposable but it’s bound to have plenty of fans.
In all honesty it translates much better than I was expecting. The flavour of Tobacco leaves hide under a pile of Menthol and fuse with what can best be described as back notes of Spearmint.
Those back notes are very distinct, amplified by the cooling properties of the vape.
There’s quite a good combination of flavours at work to be honest.
The Tobacco notes are quite broad and subtle during exhale, encouraged along by the sweeter aspects of the disposable. They do become more evident on the after taste thus having a consistent presence.
If you were a fan of Menthol cigarettes back in the day I would highly suggest you give Tobacco Chill a look. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
Tropical Drizzle
I Say:
Awesome!
This is what I call a tropical tasting vape. It has all the attributes of a juicy, fresh Summer beverage.
Menthol starts the proceedings during inhale but leaves the sweeter aspects of the vape to develop during exhale. That’s where you’ll find the explosion of flavour.
And what an effective fusion of flavour it is. Pineapple, Grapefruit and Mango all combine harmoniously. If I had to suggest a star player it would be the Grapefruit. It’s very succulent and tasty – just like the rest of the vape.
There’s nothing dry about the exhale either. Both Menthol and sweetener see to that on this occasion while the exotic fruits take care of the juicier side of things.
Quite a natural tasting affair too. Quite uncommon for a disposable vape.
Job well done, methinks!
Battery Life and Number of Puffs
Taking into account a few longer restrictive lung hits I would suggest the disposable is indeed capable of anything in the region of 600 puffs.
Since the Luke is designed as a MTL vape first and foremost.
The battery held up for a total of 7.5 hours while I watched the level of juice gradually deplete through the clear viewing window. It would appear battery life to juice consumption is pretty much bang on.
Put it this way. You don’t waste any E-liquid which is good.
The Blue LED on the base of the disposable will blink 10 times when it’s had enough.
Final Review Verdict
Each disposable arrives in the closed mouthpiece position, so do keep that in mind. Above all do not attempt to vape straight out of the box or the flavour will taste burnt and vile.
This leads me to my major gripe with this disposable. Aren’t they supposed to be convenient and ready to go? I’m not disputing the great flavour or vapour production but how many people are going to read the small print on a sticker?
.. disposable vape habits die hard as indicated by my gaff with Mango Peach!
By now it’s become habit to simply rip a box open and vape. Does that make the JLS system a needless procedure? You certainly need to step back and be more wary than usual.
I wouldn’t say the flavour intensity or quality is any better than other disposables. It’s comparable to say Riot Bar EDTN E-liquid in a standard vape pen.
One of the disposables wasn’t up to scratch either with the auto draw. Sometimes it would just go to sleep, randomly – even mid draw.
I can’t really put that down to the amount of airflow entering the device as it’s a quality MTL (mouth to lung) vape.
I guess there’s every possibility it was a duff unit.
In general, when all’s said and done the Vecee Luke functions quite well. Maybe a little heavy on the sweetness but there’s plenty of decent flavour and vapour production is well presented in terms of a MTL vape.
The perfectly clear juice viewing window is a great addition. The level drops in unison with battery strength so it’s a useful indicator.
