The Vaporesso Armour Pro Kit is one of the latest offering from Vaporesso coming in the form of a single battery 100w kit including the Cascade Baby Tank and is another cutting edge device from one of the world’s leading vape brands.
Vaporesso really do push out some lovely designs and it’s keen to note, as with a lot of Vaporesso devices, big things come in small packages.
It has a lovely sleek design and lovely curves enabling it to sit well even in the smallest of hands.
The Armour Pro Kit is a single battery Mod allowing the use of either 21700, 20700 or 18650 (with the use of a battery adapter).
I received the White Armour Pro kit as you can see from the image above. The kit does come in five other colours.
The Vaporesso Armour Kit Pro was sent to me for review. As always, I will give you my own, honest opinion of this product after a lengthy testing period.

Design and Build Quality
The Vaporesso Armour Pro is a very sleek design and sits in the hand perfectly. I consider myself to have an average size hand and, in my opinion, would sit nicely in any size hand.
The design itself is very ergonomic and very curvaceous, there are no sharp or protruding edges.
This Mod is designed perfectly to be used with either an 18650 (via an adapter sleeve), 20700 or 21700 battery
One problem I did come across in the design is, if I was ultra-fussy is that the battery door does not sit flush with the Mod body. This does not cause any problems at all with the battery door functionality. Or with the Mod itself.

The Cascade Baby Tank may look like many others but the performance and flavour from this “Baby” tank is outstanding (more detail on that below). It’s a weighty, solid built tank with a slidable, lockable refill top.
The kit comes with two coils, the GT Meshed coil at 0.18Ω (pre-installed) and the GT CCell 2 at 0.3Ω
Screen
The smoked plastic screen lays over the Mod fire buttons. The display is a 0.96” colour screen and can be navigated with ease. It comes in a simple design with all options accessible with a long press of the function button (bottom centre) then scroll with the + and – buttons then the function button to select.
One thing I will say, in normal light the screen is easily viewable, however, under direct or bright sunlight, it becomes near impossible to see.
How does the Vaporesso Armour Pro Kit Perform?
I am really surprised with the performance of this kit. My daily driver when it comes to Mod’s is the Voopoo Drag, it has a very good chip, the mod is sturdy and it never lets me down.
In my testing, the Vaporesso Kit hasn’t let me down once and for a single cell Mod, lasts a surprisingly good length of time and the fire up time from pressing the fire button is almost instantaneous.
I vaped this Mod constantly with the Cascade Baby Tank at 80w and not once did I get a dry hit even when testing chain vaping. Not only that, I never got one leakage throughout the test period from the tank.
Basic operation
- The Mod is brought into life with five successive clicks on the fire button
- Change mode between VW(H,N,S),VT(SS,Ni,Ti),TCR(M1,M2),Bypass,CCT,CCW,VV,CCV
- To reset the device to factory default by pressing the Plus, Minus and Function buttons together
- To vape, press the fire button (auto cut off at ten seconds)
How To Install The Batteries
The battery door is located at the bottom of the device. The battery door opens with a gentle slide out. To close the battery door, press down gently then slide back across until it clicks into place.
The Vaporesso Armour Pro Kit takes three different battery types, 18650, 20700 and a 21700. The latter of the three batteries slide in with the positive polarity facing upwards. To use an 18650 battery in this device, you must use the adapter sleeve provided.
The amount of puffs generated between batteries were as follows:
- 18650 (3000Mah) – 60 Puffs
- 20700 (4000Mah) – 91 Puffs
- 21700 (3000Mah) – 94 Puffs

How To Fill The Tank
The fill port on top of the tank is a reasonable size and will conform to most e-liquid bottles currently in use.
I didn’t encounter any problems from my time filling the tank.
- Lifting up the top cap and push back and round
- The filling port is then uncovered
- Fill with you e-liquid of choice
- To close, simply push back on the top cap and make sure it pops back down into it’s recess.
Coil Replacement
Coil ReplacementReplacing the coil could not be easier and on the whole, a very quick and painless operation.
- Unscrew the bottom section from the tank (this will leave you with the bottom section containing the coil)
- Unscrew the coil from the bottom section
- Get a replacement coil of choice and screw into the bottom section
- Screw the bottom section back onto the main tank after priming your coil
Flavour and Vapour Production
I was very pleasantly surprised whilst using the Cascade Baby Tank. It has been some time since I have used a Sub Ohm Tank and the flavour from the pre-installed GT Meshed Coil (0.18Ω) was excellent, certainly up there with the more popular rebuildable tanks.
The eliquid I used for both coils was the same at 70VG/30PG.
Pre-made coils have certainly come on a very long way recently. The GT CCell 2 (0.3Ω) had great flavour, but, in my opinion not quite as good as the pre-installed coil. That’s not to say it’s bad, far from it.
There is a selection of coils available for the Cascade Baby Tank:
The flavour from either of the provided kit coils is excellent. The pre-installed coil would defiantly score an eight out of ten closely followed by a seven out of ten for the spare supplied. These coils from Vaporesso really do not hold back in the flavour department.
Clouds for days Bro! With the three air holes fully open on the deck, you can get some serious cloudage from this tank. However, my style of vaping from this tank, I had the air shut down to half which cut down on the vapour production.
Bonus that for me the Cascade baby tank isn’t overly thirsty and you won’t find yourself filling it up too often during the day.

Final Review Verdict
The Vaporesso Armour Kit has been out for a little while now so you should be able to bag this kit for a tidy bargain.
I have really enjoyed my time with this Vaporesso kit from start to finish. It is a great all round Mod, portable, light and looks the business. The tank hasn’t faltered at all throughout testing and produces some fabulous flavours no matter what flavour profile e-liquid you should choose.
In conclusion, Vaporesso have produced a big hitting device wrapped up in a small, portable and elegant package.
The UK TPD tank i got with this device is just awful , Vaporesso should be ashamed of selling such a terrible tank to UK vapers.
It’s just a a massive lump of metal that practically fills up the tank inside close to the glass.
It burns up the ejuice much quicker due to the vast amount of hot metallic surface area.
It affects the taste because you basically sucking in hot metal along with your ejuice.
It’s also a real pain to get e-juice into as the metal is almost covering the hole where you’re supposed to fill it .
You can see the coil has it’s completely covered with a heavy metal shroud.
Of course the sites that sell the Vaporesso Amour Pro show the pics with the normal tank.
You only get to see how bad it is when it arrives in your hands.
It also weighs the same as the device alone ,not joking.
Very disappointed with it and fed up of getting jacked for my hard earned cash.

You CAN’T see the coil has it’s completely covered with a heavy metal shroud.
Unfortunately, Vape companies have to conform to TPD regulations by selling a 2ml max capacity tank with anything they sell in a TPD region. Something, as yet, we can’t get away from.
Received mine today and had to send it back straight away 🙁 I’m on a Uwell Crown 3 and the Armour Pro switches off with a ‘high temperature’ warning after 6 or 7 puffs. I’m vaping at 75w so well within the limits of the Armour Pro. Shame, as I’ve read good things about it – maybe I have a bad one, but there are a few threads about this issue…
I got mine a while ago and have to say I am still using it despite having an MX Class as well, my battery door sits absolutely flush, I get decent battery life at similar power levels, at most I use a pair of batteries in a day, but I use a pair of batteries in a dual battery mod at similar or slightly higher power levels, (batteries only contain so much energy)
I can recommend it with no reservations at all
