The Vapesoul Vone is from a vaping brand out of Shenzhen, China, that also seems to have flown somewhat under the radar…but they actually have a good 10 years experience under their belts.
A browse-through of their site reveals that they have a good number of mods and kits on the market, as well as a couple of tanks. Their V200, M230 and Vone mods all boasts an innovative ‘anti-lost’ feature which allows you to link your vape and phone via Bluetooth and a downloaded app (from Appstore of GooglePlay).
I’m surprised no-one’s thought to include this before!
What Can We Expect From The Vone 230W Kit By Vapesoul?
An impressive tank design in the Vone tank, which is compatible with all your Smok Baby Beast style coil heads, in that it has the best locking mechanism around and super, just right restricted airflow.
The mod I found a little rugged on the surface but under the hood, performance was excellent and so…Vapesoul has now been filed in my directory as another brand to keep my eye on.
OK with that out the way, let’s get to the real business of vaping. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this kit.

Build Quality & Design
Vone Mod
Alright, I ordered the grey version, which has a black and yellow tank and yellow inlay. The inlay frames an elongated hexagonal shaped panel on either side of the mod, one of which has big, sunken ‘Vapesoul’ branding and the other of which houses the screen.
The shape is a rectangle with ergonomically rounded corners and, when facing the screen, you’ll see that the top right corner dips down and is covered by a huge corner fire button, which has ‘Vone’ branding in white on the upper face and is constructed of a sandblasted alloy, as opposed to the smooth finish on the rest of the mod.
Square up and down adjustment buttons sit flush with the surface on the shortened side of the mod, below the lower face of the fire button and below them sits a micro USB port for charging and upgrades.
On the other side of the Vapesoul Vone mod, opposite the USB port, you’ll see 2 boomerang shaped indentations which hug the corner and have 6 ventilation holes on the bottom indentation and 8 on the upper.
A neat battery chamber is accessible via side hinged battery door on the underside of the mod. It works well and with ease.
The 510 pin has a tight spring to it, and at its widest, through the centre of the 510 seating, the upper surface measures 27.5mm…so quite accommodating for your atomiser selection.
The overall feel, which may have to do with the yellow, grey and black colouring, combined with a very plastic feel on the zinc alloy, is one of a rugged, outdoorsy mod and the screen cover, which picks up scratches easily, doesn’t make the mod feel any smarter.
It feels rugged, there’s not much more I can say, its not the prettiest mod I’ve seen. To top it off, my tank had been rolling against my mod inside the box during transit, resulting in a scratched chassis.
It weighs 235g with 2 cells installed, so not a bad weight.
There is an up raised thumb pad on the lower surface of the corner fire button and I find that unless you press it directly, the fire is not very clicky. The adjustment buttons are fairly clicky but they have some movement when touched lightly.
Vapesoul Vone Tank
The tank has a busy look to it, what with its big gold, square locking buttons either side the top cap and massive yellow rings visible through the glass; thick base and top cap, with massive adjustable cyclops airflow on the base and ‘Vapesoul’ branding on the top cap.
The drip tip is standard yellow IP but tapers off slightly toward the lips. The entire tank breaks down easily, is a quality SS construction and really quite innovative.
A simultaneous press on both lock buttons flips open the cap, which, unlink Smok’s hinged cap, can actually swivel round full circle with no problem. The fill hole in the silicon gasket is small, to be fair, but other than that I’m very impressed by the design on this tank.
My first few fills with the airflow slots open result in a leaky mess, after which I learned to keep the airflow closed when not in use. Now, though, I no longer have this leaking issue, even when the slots are open.
This leaking often happens on new tanks and after a bit of heat adjustment the parts seem to find their place and the issues subside, odd but true.
The large base of the tank makes airflow adjustment easy. Also as mentioned, this tank is compatible with all your Baby Beast style coil heads and, incidentally, the coils included here look a great deal like the T8 coil heads from Smok.
Included V4 Coils
Excellent performance, huge cloud and almost great flavour through their recommended range of 50 -110W. Their actual range is 40 to 120 W but I’d put the sweet spot for these coils bang at 90 W.
Definitely comparable to the T8 from Smok but I’d rate it at about 15% less cloud and flavour. At least with the Kind Juice e-liquid I was vaping.
Luckily, this tank will happily accept your T8 coil heads. Also, given the fact that the T8 is one of the best sub-ohm tank coils around, Vapesoul has still done an excellent job here with the V4.
Accessories
Often, with a kit or sub ohm tank, you’ll get one lighter coil and one heavier…I’m pretty pleased with the inclusion of 2 x 0.15 Ohm coil heads here. Not for the fainthearted.
I do find the hard, USB cable a little user unfriendly, not a very supple cable. Otherwise, all the necessaries are included here.
How Does The Vapesoul Vone Kit Perform?
On fitting new atomisers, I found there was a tendency for the mod to briefly read ‘atomiser short’ and then register.
The mod, beyond that issue, seems to read accurately and I enjoyed a number of my tanks, large and small, RDA’s and RTA’s on the mod with no issue.
The corner fire button can be a little irritating as it interferes with my normal way of holding a mod and I sometimes fire it inadvertently. I’ve since learned to adjust my hold so that my forefingers grip the side opposite the fire button and the button sits just at the base of my thumb so I no longer have that issue!
Otherwise, I experienced excellent true-feel wattage and a cool device, even during extended upper range use.
Of course, the lower resistance limit could be extended, since the mod has such a high wattage limit…in my opinion.
I was hugely impressed by the ramp time and feeling of power on this device and in combination with the Vone tank, which has a slightly restricted but perfect feel with the airflow open and a super restricted hit with the airflow halfway, it’s an absolute power house that’ll provide a really decent vape.
Right now, I’m vaping at 70W and enjoying a vape that feels like 90W…not bad from a brand I knew very little about before this review!
I’ve tested TC for Ni and SS, finding them to be accurate and fairly easy to use. The DIY modes, where you adjust the Temp Coefficient, well…that’s another matter. I doubt I’ll make use of their DIY mode any time soon but I trust that, since the ordinary TC modes work so well, these will too!
The user interface is really easy to navigate and I love the bright, colour screen which displays wattage, timer, voltage, resistance and charge, with sunset background. The screen can be toggled off or brightness adjusted via the settings menu.
How To Fill
- Press the two gold lock buttons on the tank simultaneously
- Swing open the top cap
- Fill through the port
- Replace by swinging in line and depressing the top cap
How To Change the Coil
- Grip the base of the tank and unscrew the pyrex
- Unscrew the coil head from its seating in the base
- Replace
- Replace pyrex and screw in until the coil heads upper threading is tightened into place
How To Operate the Menu System
- 5 clicks on fire to power on or off
- 3 clicks on fire to access settings and upgrade menu system, + to scroll and fire to select
- long press + and – to access mode menu, + to scroll and fire to select
- Access ‘find my phone’ feature through mode menu
Battery Life
Great battery life, about 10 hours consistent usage on dual Samsung 2500s, provided you set your screen timeout to save power.
What I Liked
The outstanding ramp time, power efficiency and thorough features list on the Vapesoul Vone mod. Also, the anti-lost feature is a great innovation, although I’ve not been able to test it. I like the bright comprehensive screen. I’m also highly impressed by the lock system and 360 rotating hinged door on the tank, plus I love the restricted airflow and these coils are also flavoursome heavy cloud hitters!
What I Dislike
The screen scratches easily and I’m not a big fan of the zinc alloy chassis, I find it has what can either be interpreted as a rugged, off road type of feel, or a cheap one. That’s just personal taste though.
The tank also did quite a bit of leaking through the airflow until properly broken in.
Final Review Verdict
All in all, I’m thoroughly stoked about the quality of the vape I’m getting off this mod and tank duo.
The tank is a mini-sub-ohm winner and the mod exhibits a host of awesome features that work well and very power efficiently. The rugged looks would prove a hit with some of the vapers I know so I won’t subtract points for that. Beyond that, I’ll keep trying to find a way to get my app open in English as my research tells me this feature works brilliantly! An awesome, affordable vape for medium level sub-ohmers!
Would I buy the Vapesoul Vone mod if I lost/broke the device? For sure, I’ll get the white one next time!
