The Vandy Vape Phobia V2 RDA is an update to the original Phobia RDA.
Vandy Vape have again hooked up with the You Tube vape reviewer Alex from Vapers MD who also was involved with the Berserker Mini RTA and the Berserker MTL RDA.
Looking at the original and the V2 side by side there are a few differences I can spot.
The original came with an open topped barrel into which you installed a “Chuff cap” style drip tip. The V2 doesn’t have this option.
The build deck is slightly different – there are still the M4 coil clamp screws located in the side of the deck but the airflow and tank base are different.
On the V2 the airflow comes up higher to avoid the chance of liquid leaking. Also the base of the tank seems thicker/deeper than the original.
Like the original you can still use this for single or dual coil builds.
The kit also includes a 510 bottom feed Squonk Pin so you can convert this to use on a squonk mod.
As usual the kit contents from Vandy Vape look generous and you even get 3 types of 810 drip tip plus an adaptor to install a 510 drip tip.
There are 5 colours to choose from – Matte Black, Stainless Steel, Gun Metal and Rainbow.
Kit Includes
- Vandy Vape Phobia V2 RDA
- Accessory bag
- Manual
- 810 drip tip
- PEI drip tip

This doesn’t seem to be a huge step up from the original but could perform better.
Are you too scared to buy the Vandy Vape Phobia V2 RDA? Let me know what you think in the comments below!
Underrated rda, got it, vaping on it, loving it, huge clouds, flavour on top, definitely better than the first Phobia, hawe it as well, buildeck massive, love the angled airflows, this rda is my from the top shelf
I don’t have the first one but I got the V2 and it’s pretty good. It’s not a 10 compared to some of my other RDAs, but it’s got a great build deck and massive air flow. I would say the only thing about this RDA is the flavor is lacking just a little bit. It’s too bad because it’s a killer looking RDA.
I found the quality of the Phobia V1 hugely disappointing. Especially when compared to Vandy Vapes earlier releases such as the Govad, the Bonza and the Icon. To me it felt very light, almost tinny. It was a shame because I was excited at its launch and keen to try it out. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite hit the spot with me. I found it somewhat lacking in the flavour department and very leaky. I’m not sure I’ll be splashing out on V2 just yet. I wish they would design and release a decent dual coil, bottom airflow rda, with a good size juice well. I’ve been waiting for this ever since the Govad came out. The Augvape BTFC is spot on. Come on Vandy Vape.
When does it release?
