The Uwell Whirl 2 Tank as the name suggests is the second generation of the original Whirl Tank.
I actually bought the Whirl 22 kit and found it to be a decent performer, the flavour as usual from Uwell was great and the coils were not expensive either!
What To Expect From The Uwell Whirl 2 Tank?
As this is an update to an existing tank I will try to focus on what is different.
The main noticeable feature is the curved tank glass. As with the Nunchaku 2 this is designed so if your tank should fall over – the glass will not be the first component to suffer from the impact (in theory – it does work on the Nunchaku 2!)
The airflow is adjustable by turning the ring on the base of the tank and promises a restricted DTL and MTL airflow to match the coils. We tell you what these terms mean in our Guide To Vaping Styles.
When it comes to coils – there is no change here – there are 2 coil options – both compatible with the original Whirl tank and the Hypercar Kit:
- 0.6ohm Dual NiChrome coil (18-22W)
- 1.8ohm Single NiChrome coil (10-15W)
As before the coils are a push in / pull out fitment.
The Whirl 2 also uses the “self cleaning technology” – basically this means that any condensation which drops to the tank base in normal use is vaporised again.
The top fill cap is a 90° turn to release style which exposes the filling port which has a silicone check valve seal to help reduce leakage.
There are 4 colours to choose from: Silver, Blue, Black and Black & Red.
