The Uwell Valyrian SE Kit is the update to the recent Valyrian Pod kit.
This does look very similar to the original – so what is new?

The only change I can see is that the SE version has a USB Type C port – the original relied on a micro USB port. However the charging rate and time are not specified.
The battery capacity at 1250mAh is the same as the original as is the output – maximum 25W.
As there are no specifications or kit contents listed on the Uwell website I can’t compare the size of the device with the previous version.
Looking at the pod now – this again is more of the same – a standard 3ml capacity (or 2ml for TPD regulated areas) and a slide top fill cap.
The coils are removable and replaceable and like the original you get 2 coils to choose from:
- 0.6ohm DTL coil
- 1ohm MTL coil

The coils use the “Pro-FOCS” technology – I will admit to having zero clue what this means – but I know other Uwell kits which use this usually give out great flavour.
On the side of the pod is the airflow slider switch to tailor the incoming airflow to your preference.
There are 5 colour options to choose from: Black, Silver, Gold, Metallic Green and Metallic Blue.

It appears people must have not been happy with the original Micro USB charging so Uwell have provided this update. Good to know manufacturers are listening and want to make improvements.
