The Uwell Koko Prime Kit is the update to the original Koko kit.
Like with the original kit there is still the link between the Caliburn and the Koko ranges…
More Details On The Uwell Koko Prime Kit…
The main link between the two ranges are the coils.
In the case of the Koko Prime the coils are replaceable and are compatible with the new Caliburn G.
There are 2 coil choices:
- Kanthal 1ohm wire coil – there are 2 of these included in the kit
- UN2 Meshed 0.8ohm coil – this has a mesh structure and is available separately.
The mod has removable magnetic side panels so you can replace them if they become worn or just to customise the kit to your preference.
Inside this little device is a 690mAh battery – which is the same as the Caliburn G, which is recharged at a 1.6A rate via the USB Type C port.
The output doesn’t seem to be adjustable and appears to be a bypass output (power decreases as battery charge diminishes) of 15W maximum.
There thankfully is an LED indicator which changes colour to inform of the battery capacity remaining.
The pod is removable and you can refill with up to 2ml of your own e-liquid by removing the mouthpiece cover.
By rotating the pod 180° you have 2 airflow settings – MTL or restricted DTL. We tell you what these terms mean in our Guide to Vape Styles.
Oh and you get a funky lanyard to keep the Koko at reach around your neck.
There are 6 colours to choose from: Purple, Blue, Grey, Black, Green and Red.

A lovely looking kit and I have no doubt that the flavour will be immense. I do wish Uwell would make these with a bigger capacity battery or at least a constant output as the battery life and power drop were the only thing which put me off the original Caliburn in the end.
