The Uwell Evdilo Kit is up for review today and despite the fact that the name doesn’t quite roll off the tongue, I’ll tell you straight, you’re in for a treat. Uwell is a brand that has been growing from strength to strength, having made a name for themselves, arguably, with the release of their original Crown 1 through Crown 4 and Valyrian Sub-ohm tanks, favourites amongst high wattage vapers the world over.
Also amongst their many accomplishments, the Nunchaku RDA Kit, Blocks Squonk Mod and the sexy SoulKeeper Mod.
What Can We Expect From The Uwell Evdilo Kit?
A 200W TC powerhouse with a compact, ergonomic feel. The Evdilo can be used with dual 18650 / 201700 or 21700 batteries. It also comes with the badass Valyrian II tank bringing home the flavour.
On a side note, it’s a good thing Ecigclick’s Neil Humber isn’t writing this, since he reads Evil-dildo every time he sees the name, lol…#getyourmindoutoffthegutter!
Let’s get this show on the road.
This kit was sent for the purposes of review by Vaporl. Thanks you. As always my views are my own.

Design and Build Quality
The Uwell Evdilo Kit comes in a humongous long black and yellow box, with the black and yellow Valyrian II and Evdilo mod packed in individual black and yellow boxes inside.
Inside those boxes are two reusable plastic boxes with lift off covers which open to reveal the shiny and, in my case, blue components inside.
Mod
Given the fact that the 200W Evdilo mod can house dual 18650, 20700 or 21700 batteries, the chassis is surprisingly compact and ergonomic. Uwell have succeeded in cramming a whole lotta power into a very small package indeed.
The zinc alloy and stainless steel chassis feels extremely solid and well made and the colour finish is remarkable, with a superfine sparkle within the metallic finish that gives it an almost three dimensional shine.
Don’t be alarmed through, it is not sparkly in the bling sense, but it reminds me of the high quality finish on an expensive car, scratch proof and eternally shiny.
Hand Feel
Looking at the vape mod from the top, it is kidney bean shaped, with a flattened side on the control and screen side and the indentation fitting nicely onto that raised section at the top of your palm.
510 Threading
There’s a nice, deep and springy 510 connection centred on top of the mod, within a stainless steel tank seating disk.
Vent Holes
The battery door takes up the side opposite the controls. On the mod at the edge of the battery door you will find 9 little ventilation holes aesthetically arranged in 3 diagonal stripes.
Where those battery ventilation strips end, from halfway up the mod to the top, either side, a long, narrow inlay of pretty, marbled resin stretches, a decorative feature.
From in front of that strip the mod tapers toward the flat face where the controls are situated.
Controls, Screen and Port
Top and centre is an elongated, small but very clicky fire button in PC and, as I will later learn, this mod is so gosh-damn fast firing and powerful that having a smaller fire button is a blessing in disguise.
Below that is the bane of this kit, the mod’s awkward name, in big silver lettering.
The fact that this is the type of name you can’t help reading twice because it means nothing and is totally weird makes this prominent placement rather upsetting.
It doesn’t add to this mod, let me put it that way…but we must deal with it because that is what the bloody thing is called for some reason! End of rant.
Below that is a 12 x 23 mm OLED screen, very bright, very comprehensive, with mode, setting, voltage, resistance, timer and pictorial battery levels all displayed and readable in any light.
Bellow that is a horizontally set elongated dual button for up and down adjustments and below that is a micro USB port.
Battery Compartment
The base of the mod features a little black tab, resting on one side of a rectangular nook.
This can be pulled to the opposite end of the nook to release the battery door, which slides in and out of place up and down and clicks in via a non magnetised mechanism.
The battery chamber is a snug, well insulated one, with big gold plated connections, capable of holding 3 battery types in a solid embrace, with the included 18650 adaptors inside, also of high quality.
Tank
The Valyrian II tank is freaking tall and large, holding 6ml of e-liquid (Outside TPD regulated countries) with the bulb glass!
But what makes it so large is not so much the 29 mm base thickness, it’s the massively tall base and top cap, which each occupy almost as much height as the tank itself.
From the bottom of the 510 connection to the top of the drip tip is 60 mm and the tank only takes up 20mm of that. I am, however, not complaining, as the tank looks solid AF and really well balanced against the mod.
Besides, within that tall base is an innovative self cleaning mechanism which accumulates condensation build up and then allows it to be re-absorbed into the coil instead of just forming sticky black muck over time.
This feature also prevents leaking out through the airflow.
The base is slightly wider than the top cap and features a large, well knurled and seamlessly smooth moving airflow ring which conceals or exposes a massive 12 x 2 mm airflow slot on either side.
Within the tank I can see the stupendously large coil head. This features a metallic blue funnel shaped chimney which screws into the top and holds it in place above that.
During break down of the tank I found this threading to be a little tricky, you need to be careful to screw it in correctly as not doing so will result in leaking. You’ll get the hang of it.
Top Fill
The Valyrian II has a push button flip cap, which opens right up to reveal 2 very accessible fill ports.
The mechanism is flawless and sturdy, however, since the cap flips open to expose the entire circumference of the tank, it’s only held in place by a small hinge and 2 tiny little metal bits, you should be careful not to put too much pressure on it when open.
The drip tip is a tall removable, tapering 810 with a black Delrin tip and a base that matches your kit colour. It’s comfortable and does the trick.
How Does The Uwell Evdilo Kit Perform?
Valyrian II Sub Ohm Tank
Other than occasional issues with the chimney threading within the tank, I can honestly find no fault with the Valyrian II.
The range of coils with which this tank is compatible are all designed for seriously high wattage vaping and the tank lives up to this function well, with excellent heat distribution and an impressive airflow.
Airflow, when wide open, is still very pleasant, unlike some sub-ohm tanks which push the airflow to far, making them near useless when fully open. However, that may have something to do with the insane vaporisation power of this mod and those coils combined.
Airflow is extremely smooth throughout the range, with no spluttering or crackling whatsoever and only the slightest whistle when you dial the airflow right down for a restricted vape. It’s not a con, however, as it’s almost imperceptible.
I’m really impressed by just how leak proof this tank is, with not a drop of condensation around the airflow, I gather that the self-cleaning system is doing it’s job!
As large as the tank is, with its 6ml capacity, I go through 3-4 tanks in a day because of the wattage the coils demand and the intense cumulonimbus deliciousness they produce! Let’s talk about these coils!
0.32Ohm UN 2 Single Meshed Coil
To be fair, my coil reads at 0.27 Ohm, instead of 0.32 but who cares. These coils are absolutely phenomenal. Designed to deliver a flavourful, warm vape between 90 and 100W this mesh coil passes the test with flying colours.
What really impresses me is the beating these coils can stand up to, after a week of heavy, heavy use and about 20 refills, I have not experienced a single dry hit, a hint of burn or anything but pure unadulterated flavour and billowing cloud from these winners.
Even more remarkable is the fact that through the coil’s juice windows I can see that the cotton is still sparkling white, despite my 90% VG, high flavour DIY juice.
These coil heads have made the Valyrian II tank my favourite sub-ohm tank for the foreseeable future.
0.14Ohm UN2-2 Dual Meshed Coil
Just when you thought things couldn’t get better they somehow do. Designed for high flavour and dense cloud, warm 80-100W vaping, this massive coil head scores 100 out of 100 from me.
Wow, powerful RDA quality flavour, dense warm cloud and what is starting to look like endurance like I have never seen before.
Judging by the fact that, like the other included coil head, I have used this coil for a week and about 20 refills. I haven’t experienced a single dry hit or burned flavour even at the highest wattages and can see that the cotton is still bright white and clean.
I estimate a months good usage out of this coil head. Then maybe a good rinse and I can use it again, very impressive.
Evdilo Mod
First up, Ramp time and fire are damn well instantaneous, so instantaneous that I recommend making use of the hand lock-adjust / lock adjust & fire setting options.
Fire is so fast that the mod invariably fires during shutdown! I am impressed with the shutdown though, since even if your 5 clicks are somewhat erratic, it still gets the point.
Controls are intuitive and adjustments very responsive and extremely fast, only taking 4 seconds to scroll through the entire wattage range. Another awesome feature is the round robin, so it scrolls right through 200W back to 5W.
There are only power and Temp Control modes on the Evdilo, with the TC not intended for use with the included pre-made coils but rather on your RDAs etc.
I tested for nickel and stainless steel and was very satisfied with accuracy and performance.
The highest setting I was willing to use on this mod was 160W, with a low build I had on hand. The mod doesn’t heat up whatsoever and performs just as well at the higher wattages.
New atomiser readings are accurate and true.
To be honest with you, I haven’t got much to say here as every feature does exactly what it claims to do and does it perfectly.
The only complaint I have is that on about 6 occasions over the past 10 or so days I’ve had to re-shut the battery cover. This is due to the door release button not sitting quite flush with the mod and protrudes infinitesimally, the mechanism occasionally releases when you set it down hard.
I’d like to see this button sunk in a bit deeper so that this doesn’t happen at all, the last thing I need is a couple of batteries in my bathwater.
Battery Life
Given the high wattage coils, I recommend you invest in 21700s as, when vaping heavily on the included coils, you may find that 18650’s last 6 hours tops, on 21700’s it’s a little more like it and you’ll get through a full day of vaping with no trouble.
Pros
- Ergonomic and beautiful, high quality finish
- Solid performance on all features
- Flavourful high wattage vape
- Massive clouds!
- User friendly, with only the necessary features on an intuitive menu
- Incredibly responsive controls
- Extremely fast fire and RAMP
- Compatible with three battery types
Cons
- Battery door OCCASIONALLY reopens, when you set the mod down hard
- No mod this good should be mistaken for an evil dildo
Final Review Verdict
The Uwell Evdilo Kit deserves a less awkward name than it’s got, because it’s a damn near perfect high wattage kit with outstanding performance across the board.
I highly recommend this kit for experienced and inexperienced vapers alike.
Sexy, powerful, fast, ergonomic, smooth, full-flavoured with massive clouds, there is not much you could ask for that the Evdilo Kit won’t give you, enjoy!

The Evdilo Mod By Uwell final review.
So I have been using this mod now for 2 weeks. It took a nice fall on a parking lot, other then a nice ding on the bottom corner it came away from that in good working order. The button placement is not super ideal. But it has a really nice hand feel. The Valyrian 2 tank the kit comes with is trash. Super sad about that because I really loved the Valyrian 1 tank. I have covered the tank in my head to head test with the nexmesh subohm tank in older posts.
The Evdilo mod it’s self is not too shabby. It’s saving grace is the fact it can take 21700 batteries. Running two molicel 21700 with a Falcon king tank at 75watts I can get 35+ hours before I need to change the batteries. I would not pay over 100 bucks for the kit my self. But if you could get the mod only for retail 75ish it would be a great mod at that price. The finish of the mod is nice and not slippery but still slick to look at. This would be a great daily beater for long battery life and dependability.
