Dispergo Vaping aren’t one to rest on their laurels and they are back with another addition to the Unreal e-liquid range – with Unreal Ice!
Founded in 2019 and based out of Oxfordshire, Dispergo Vaping was created by two lifelong friends after they had been asked by different vape stores to create e-liquid lines for them. This came after the creation of the Jack Rabbit Desserts e-liquid range in 2015, which was an absolute smash hit.
All Dispergo Vaping e-liquids are created in-house to create authentic, complex flavour blends with options to suit everyone. They are manufactured to the highest standards in their Oxfordshire base, using only TPD compliant ingredients. They also work in tandem with vape stores across the UK to create bespoke e-liquid lines for each store.
We recently praised the Unreal Desserts range in our review, and we’ve also looked at the Jak’d Salt, Jack Rabbit and Rachael Rabbit lines which have also been a hit with us. Will the Unreal Ice range earn high praise too? Let’s find out…
What Can We Expect From The Unreal Ice Range?
Dispergo have opted to keep it simple here, with a range of five different fruit flavours blended with an icy chill, to create a tasty and refreshing vape.
The five flavours that make up the range are Pineapple Ice, Bubblegum Ice, Mango Ice, Banana Ice and Apple Ice.
They are available in TPD compliant 10ml bottles.
The range are blended with nicotine salt in 5mg, 10mg and 20mg strengths.
Plus they are also available as nicotine free shortfills in 100ml bottles, with space to add an 18mg nicotine shot to give you 100ml of 3mg strength e-liquid.
Nicotine salt versions are blended to a 50/50 VG/PG ratio, making them perfect for use in low power pod kits, starter kits and vape pens. The shortfills feature a 70/30 VG/PG mix for sub ohm vaping with higher powered devices.
I was kindly sent the full range of the Unreal Ice e-liquids in 10mg nicotine salt strength by Vape Club. I have been trying these out in my Innokin Trine pod system and SXmini Puremax pod system.
Before I start this review, I need to make you aware that this is my opinion only and my experience vaping this range in the devices that I have mentioned. Your own experience may differ, as personal preferences and vaping set ups used can affect your own perception of an e-liquid.
With that out of the way, let’s see how this range got on! Thanks to Vape Club for sending samples for review. As always my views are my own.
Banana Ice
They say…
This flavour is a fresh and ripe Banana flavour with a refreshing dash of ice.
We say…
I’m pleased that Dispergo opted to use an authentic tasting Banana concentrate in this blend and as a result I get a Banana flavour that accurately tastes like the real thing. Not the foam sweet tasting one, which I can’t stand!
After the initial Banana taste, there’s a cooling sensation at the end, which I still find odd when combined with Banana.
I am still not sold on Banana with an icy chill to it, it isn’t a flavour combination that works for my own palate!
Mango Ice
They say…
This flavour is a super fresh, tropical Mango flavour with a generous dash of ice.
We say…
Super fresh? Yes indeed it is, this definitely tastes like a very fresh Mango flavour!
Dispergo have done a great job with getting the blend just right. The Mango tastes authentic and there’s a good level of sweetness. The cooling sensation is nicely done, without being too overbearing and drowning out the Mango flavour.
I do love a good Mango ice flavour and this effort definitely ticks all the boxes for me. It has the right balance of flavouring and cooling, delivering a tasty and refreshing experience.
Apple Ice
They say…
This flavour is a juicy Apple flavour with a refreshing dash of ice.
We say…
This does indeed have a juicy Apple flavour and it is very crisp as well. Just like taking a bite out of a fresh Green Apple.
After the Apple comes the refreshing icy chill, which does go well with the Apple flavouring. Combined with a dash of sweetener it is a bit like a glass of refreshing Apple juice straight out of the fridge!
Bubblegum Ice
They say…
This flavour is a nostalgic Bubblegum flavour with a generous dash of ice.
We say…
Well this one I found to be a little bit strange….
I thought the combination of Bubblegum and ice was slightly odd, it took me a fair few puffs to get used it. It’s not an offensive combination. The Bubblegum flavouring isn’t too strong, it is more of a subtle Bubblegum before the icy sensation takes over.
It’s kind of a sweet, fruity Bubblegum that is present here, which I actually didn’t mind at all! I haven’t been a particularly big fan of Bubblegum flavours in the past!
I guess if you enjoy a Bubblegum flavour then this one might be worth a try for something a little different!
Pineapple Ice
They say…
This flavour is a tropical, tangy Pineapple flavour with a refreshing dash of ice.
We say…
Yep, this one does the job!
A realistic Pineapple flavour mixes with a nice blast of ice at the end. This is one of the most popular flavours on the market and Dispergo’s offering does pretty much exactly what you would expect from it.
My only negative with this one was that I felt the Pineapple was just a touch under-flavoured and could have been slightly stronger. I do prefer my Pineapple ice e-liquids to be quite strongly flavoured!
Final Review Verdict
These aren’t your “ten-a-penny” over-flavoured bar salts with heaps of koolada thrown in that currently seem to be saturating the market! Rather this is a range of well crafted, expertly blended e-liquids that offer authentic, great tasting fruity flavours with a chilly twist.
I’ve also noticed that these are pretty kind on my coils too. I have had plenty of lifespan from my pods when vaping these e-liquids and no issues with them burning out early due to being blocked up with sweetener.
Unreal Ice just offers great flavour from start to finish and they do live up to the descriptions provided by Dispergo for each e-liquid. These are fruity, refreshing and great for use in a pod system as an alternative to a throwaway disposable vape.
The nicotine salt versions offer smooth flavour delivery too, with virtually no throat hit. Which means you can savour these flavours and get a satisfying nicotine hit, without an unpleasant feeling at the back of your throat.
Another big hit for Dispergo here!
