We have written about the University of Oxford Podcasts “Let’s talk e-cigarettes” in the past. The podcast is also funded by Cancer Research UK.
These are updated monthly with new research findings and different guest speakers.
The June 2022 edition is now available and the regulars Dr Jamie Hartmann-Boyce and Dr Nicola Lindson interview Dr Francesca Pesola.
Francesca is from the Wolfson Institute of Population Health at the Queen Mary University of London.
The main topic of the June episode is quitting smoking during pregnancy. Recent studies are discussed and results of trials.
Dr Pesola reports that e-cigarettes were found to be more effective than nicotine patches for helping pregnant women quit smoking.
