The Timesvape Dreamer V1.5 Mod is an update to the existing Dreamer mechanical mod.
The original Dreamer mod was a go to for many mech mod enthusiasts so let’s have a look at what the update is promising!
What Can We Expect From The Timesvape Dreamer V1.5 Mod?
There are a few new features plus plenty of existing features which should please all Dreamer fans.
As with the original this mod uses either a single 21700, 20700 or 18650 (with adaptor) battery which of course is not included.
This is a mechanical mod and is unregulated – so the power output will depend on battery installed and resistance of coils. Also mech mods do need a greater knowledge of Battery Safety and Ohms Law to use them to their best performance and safety.
Helpfully Timesvape also add a chart to their webpage to give you a guide to safe building limits.
The 510 connector on the top of the mod is a “hybrid” style – which means that the 510 pin of the tank will be in direct contact with the battery. Again to ensure safe use make sure to choose a “hybrid compatible” atomiser with a good clear distance between the positive and negative poles on the tank base.
The hybrid connector reduces any excessive resistance in the circuit which would occur through use of more wiring / conductors to enable as much of the battery power to be provided to heat up the coils.
The upgrades include a new constant contact switch – as the circuit does not depend on the switch moving this reduces the chance of arc-ing or sparks as the battery contacts are energised. Apparently this switch upgrade is also compatible with the original Dreamer mod too.
Also on this version a vent hole has been included and a top insulator to help with safety.
There are 3 colours to choose from: Black Copper with Green Splatter, Black Copper with Pink Splatter and Black Copper.
