The ThunderHead Creations Tauren MTL RTA is the next in the series of the “Tauren” atomiser range.
Previous versions include the Tauren RDA, Tauren BF RDTA, Tauren Solo RDA and even a pod kit – the Tauren X-Pod.
What To Expect From The ThunderHead Creations Tauren MTL RTA?
As the “MTL” in the name tells you this is designed for Mouth To Lung (MTL) Vapers. We tell you what this term means in our Guide To Vape Styles.
For devices to be suitable for MTL vaping they usually have a more precise and restricted airflow and are suitable for higher resistance coils.
The airflow on this consists of a circular plate on the deck with 61 honeycomb style airflow outlets which sit beneath the coil.
The airflow inlets are on the base of the tank and are adjustable using the control ring with 6 holes and gradually reducing slot inlets. Also a curve is built into the airflow system to pose less restriction to the air flowing to the coil.
Suitable for a single coil build the deck has a simple 2 clamp post setup with 2 slots to feed the cotton to the base of the deck.
A screw top cap gives access for refilling.
Included in the kit are long and standard 510 drip tips and plenty of spares to get you going immediately.
There are 4 colours to choose from: Stainless Steel, Silver / Black, Full Black and Gun Metal.
