The Thunderhead Creations Artemis V1.5 RDTA is an update to the original Artemis RDTA.
Sadly we didn’t get to review the original here at EcigClick but we did get our hands on the Tauren BF RDTA which scored well in review.
More Details On The Thunderhead Creations Artemis V1.5 RDTA…
Firstly this is an RDTA – which is basically a dripper (or RDA) with an upper build deck but with the addition of a tank like an RTA.
I am not very aware of the original version but doing a side by side comparison of the specs and design there are few updates for the V1.5.
The main update is to the wicking system. The original used steel wicks to transport the e-liquid from the tank onto the build deck, but in the V1.5 this uses standard cotton wicking.
Like the original you can fill this using the wide slot fill port located on the side of the deck. Plus you also have a bottom feed 510 screw included for using this on a Squonk mod.
The deck is very similar to the original with a single coil configuration and the coil legs secured by a ceramic clamp system activated by the single M4 screw.
Also the airflow system is very similar with a dual honeycomb inlet which is adjustable and the airflow then travels to the side of the coil.
To please the TPD marketing requirements there are 2ml and 4ml versions.
There are 6 colours to choose from: Silver, Blue, Gold, Rainbow, Gunmetal and Black.

So the main difference appears to be the loss of the stainless steel wicking – as we haven’t reviewed the original I have no idea if that was an issue on the first version?
