What To Expect From The ThunderHead Creations Artemis 2 RDTA?
As you can tell from the name this is a RDTA which stands for Rebuildable Dripping Tank Atomiser. We tell you more about the types of different rebuildables in our Guide.
Most people agree that the best flavour performance comes from an RDA – just a simple idea where the coils direct the vapour straight through the mouthpiece.
However the downside of an RDA is having to constantly add e-liquid (dripping) manually. An RDTA uses the same deck as an RDA with the addition of a liquid tank which sits below the deck.
This has a 4.5ml capacity e-liquid tank – but you can also purchase a 5.5ml bubble glass separately.
Filling is simple with 2 options of fill method:
- You can remove the top cap to access the fill port on the side of the deck or…
- Install the included hollow BF (Bottom Feed) 510 pin and use this on a squonk mod.
The deck is designed for single or dual coil builds.
Plus the deck has a clever patented clamp system which requires only 1 screw to be turned to clamp everything.
The airflow comes in at the top through the adjustable honeycomb inlets and is fed to the side of each coil.
Apparently there are 38 inlet holes in total and they are angled downward towards the coils.
There are 4 colours to choose from: Stainless Steel, Matt Black, Gunmetal and Silver Black.
