The SX Mini X Class mod is a new release from the “High End” brand SX Mini.
Previous crowd pleasers from this brand include the G Class, SL Class and the T Class mods.
The SX Mini range often command a large price tag – due mainly to their use of the YiHi chipset – a rival to the Evolv DNA chips. A lot of people regard the YiHi chips to be as accurate or sometimes better than the DNA chipped mods.
Inside the X Class is a new YiHi SX620J chip and this will be controlling a lot more than your usual functions.
The X Class is a squonk mod, but with a difference.
Two 18650 batteries are required and the mod will output a maximum of 200W.
The really new feature to this mod is the ESS – which stands for “Electronic Spray Squonker”. Apparently feeding liquid to the tank – via the squonk system will be electronically controlled to prevent dry hits.
I have no idea how any of this will work as I have only seen a brief article on this device. So am very sorry for the vagueness of this preview!
Also in the article there is mention of an advanced liquid detecting system that monitors the e-liquid levels – I assume this means the level in the squonk bottle? When the atomiser is running out of e-liquid or has no e-liquid at all the output power will be reduced or cut off to prevent dry hits. Similar I suppose to how temperature control works now.
Included in the new Yihi chip is the ability to connect via Bluetooth or Wifi to a cloud system which will apparently aid in sharing user information and upgrades.
