The R07 Mod Kit by SOFGOD Previewed
The SOFGOD R07 mod kit is a vape pen style device from the new company SOFGOD.
Our reviewer Laura-ann recently tried the SOFGOD R03 and found it to be a very good start for this new company. In fact the company is so new they only appear to have these two items for sale and no sign of a Website or social media presence at all!
The mod comprises of a 22mm diameter battery case which requires a 18650 battery which is not included. The mod can output a maximum of 100W when fully charged. This is not a variable power device – you basically get the power that the battery can supply – like a Mechanical Mod.
A one button operation makes this pretty simple to use. There is no screen or adjustment just simply press the button!
Despite the appearance of this being a mechanical mod – the specs do list “multiple protections”. So in theory this is not a fully mechanical mod. But the information available is pretty sketchy so you might need to look this up when the mod is fully released.
A bottom vertical coil sub ohm tank is included in the kit. The tank is a 2ml capacity with a bottom airflow adjustment and a top filling system.
Included in the kit are 2×0.3ohm coil heads and a spare glass tank.
The mod body is made from copper and the only colour I have seen available is the black version.

Price wise this is in a similar bracket to other sub ohm vape pens – except you will need to buy a separate battery and charger to go with this.
However for most people having a removable battery makes this more desirable as the battery can be replaced when it fails rather than throwing the mod away. Also the power output of this is higher than a lot of the internal battery vape pens provide.
This looks well worth the money to me – if you already have some 18650 batteries and a charger then this could be an excellent second or back-up device.
By the way SOFGOD is apparently short for “Scourge of God” – don’t thank me thank our lovely Laura-ann for that info!
