Today I’ve got my meat hooks on the Snowplus Diamond 6000 disposable vapes.

Mmm. There’s always a sense of comfort to be gained when dealing with an established vape manufacturer. When I saw the name, thoughts immediately jumped to Asmodus.
Since everyone and their pup in the industry seems to want a slice of the disposable vape pie was it too much to assume?
Yup! These guys are based in Shenzhen over in China and bare no relation with the popular vape Mods of yesteryear.
They’re a world leading independent vape brand. The products are designed in state of the art R&D centres and manufactured in one of the largest E-Cig factories in the world.
Their mission statement is:
“To empower adult smokers to change their lives for the better.”
Our Boss, Jonny had the pleasure of reviewing the Snowplus Pro a few years back and it received a very respectable score.
Let’s see if the Snowplus Diamond 6000 disposable vapes can do the same.
What Can We Expect From the Snowplus Diamond 6000 Disposable Vapes?
It’s capable of 6,000 puffs, so that means an increased juice capacity. The Snowplus Diamond 6000 contains 12ml of 20mg salt nicotine E-liquid.
Just like the Snowplus Dash, Flex and Hammer disposables, it’s not TPD compliant.
To get through that number of puffs the integrated and factory charged 600mAh battery is rechargeable. However, you don’t get the required type C USB charging cable in the box.
Snowplus have used ceramic coils with other disposables but the Diamond 6000 comes equipped with a low resistance mesh alternative to enhance flavour and deliver super vapour production.
There are 10 flavours to pick from ranging from fruit, drinks, mint and sweets categories.

Design & Build Quality
At around an inch cubed it’s a chunky monkey but still feels relatively comfortable wrapped inside my fat fingers. With a height of around four inches, I can quite easily conceal the Snowplus Diamond 6000.
The edges are bevelled to create that “Diamond Cut” appearance while the battery is covered by a holographic sticker.
The mouthpiece is entirely clear and although quite sizeable for a disposable, very comfortable in use.
A type C USB charging port is built into the base of the disposable alongside a very small airflow ingress hole. There’s no airflow adjustability and the device is predominantly designed for a MTL (Mouth To Lung vape).
But things get very interesting when the auto draw feature is used.
A random multi coloured band of LED’s illuminate and pulse around the sides of the disposable. Very useful if you’re at a Jean-Michel Jarre concert, a bit pointless for the rest of us.
Now I know I’m sounding like the doddery, grumpy old git that I am but wouldn’t it have been more beneficial to use them to reflect stages of battery depletion?
Ok, it’s time to check out the two flavours I’ve been kindly sent. I couldn’t find any flavour descriptions so I’m blind testing, so to speak.
Please remember that taste is subjective. Your experiences of the flavours may differ from mine. We all know what Blueberry should taste like but how does it translate to the vape?
Hopefully I can answer that question and others too.
Blueberry Cherry Cranberry
I Say:
Straight from the very first vape I can tell there’s some decent flavour blending going on.
It’s just as easy to pick out the Cranberry as it is the Cherry. Both fruits mingle effectively during the exhale.
This is quite aromatic and floral tasting, noticeable on the palate both during and after the vape.
Snowplus have been very liberal with their use of sweetener so expect that to be in abundance. You will get that ‘sugar lips’ effect. It’s something you either love or hate.
I don’t personally mind it when flavours are mixed well and Blueberry Cherry Cranberry is one such example.
My only criticism would be in the subtlety of the Blueberry. I feel it gets swallowed up in this excessively sweet vape.
Other than that?
Even the cooling agent has had the brakes applied. By this I mean it’s not throat cuttingly harsh. Quite mellow in output and certainly helps to invigorate and freshen each and every vape.
I’m very impressed with how this one’s been mixed.
Blueberry Raspberry
I Say:
Now this is more like it!
How many Blueberry Raspberry combo’s have I tried in the past? How many have been sickly sweet and acrid tasting?
Quite a few. I’d need more than two hands to count them – put it that way.
So to experience something that’s pitched a little more sensibly is a blessed relief!
Admittedly there’s a bucket load of sweetener on board and you’ll notice that from the very first inhale. It subsides extremely quickly on the exhale. What’s more there’s none of that sulphuric sickly sensation either.
As a result the true flavours are able to project themselves forth. Here’s what I experience.
The Raspberry is definitely in there but I must confess it’s more of the chalky, sweet version than anything juicy or authentic. Yet it’s clearly effective enough, bouncing off the sweet and tart like Blueberry quite majestically.
The exhale is also slightly on the drier side but that makes a pleasant change for a disposable vape.
As with Blueberry Cherry Cranberry, the cooling agent keeps the vape lively and refreshing with each and every tug.
A very moreish vape and one I’ll be coming back to again and again.
Battery Life and Number of Puffs
The initial factory charge gave me a whopping 14.5 hours continuous use. I have a habit of chain vaping too so that means the possibility of 2-3 days vaping for the average vaper.
None too shabby.
You’ll get no vapour and the LED’s will cycle through various colours when it’s time to charge.
The first wall charge reaped around the same number of hours. I must admit the flavour didn’t have quite as much impact. At around mid-way point of charge the auto draw felt less sensitive and sometimes completely failed.
Whether that’s because there was much less e-liquid inside, I couldn’t say.
Things went further south after the second wall charge and after 6.5 hours vaping I gave up. Simply because the flavour had become so muted.
In other words, the vaping experience was no longer enjoyable.
With an estimated 2,500 puffs that’s some way off the suggested figure although technically the disposable was still producing puffs in the way of vapour.
It took roughly 90 minutes to revive the tired battery under type C charging. The disposable does not allow for vaping while charging.
Despite a multitude of colour options, the LED always remains a solid colour during the charge cycle. It switches off when charging is complete.
It’s such a shame the industry standard Red/Blue/Green combo couldn’t have been used. To denote current battery status.
It is what it is, I guess.
Final Review Verdict
The flavour blending with the two I tested was spot on.
I think Snowplus have done a commendable job with their concentrates to ensure that what you ask for is what you vape.
As is traditional for a disposable, expect raised levels of sweetness but don’t expect it to distract too much from the overall flavour quality – because it doesn’t.
What I’m also extremely impressed by is the smoothness of the inhale. No turbulence, no crackling and no spitting at all.
The vape is as quiet as the proverbial mouse. The fixed pinhole airflow restriction is bang on and these disposables are tailor made for that drawn out MTL vape.
So the vapour production is highly suited to anyone coming off the cigs. It’s thin, wispy and totally discreet.
Of course for a non TPD compliant product holding 12ml of E-liquid, the Snowplus Diamond 6000 is going to be on the bulky side. There’s no getting around that.
I’m not a fan of the flashy, random colour generating LED either but at least I could hide its light show within the confines of my hand.
In summary, until now this manufacturer was well and truly off my radar.
