What To Expect From The Smok Novo 5 Kit…
The Novo range can be confusing. Originally they were designed to be the simpler version of the popular Nord kits with disposable pods.
However the Novo 5 has a lot of more advance features.
For a start it has a variable wattage output and you can select from 5-30W.
A 0.69in OLED screen provides all of your vaping data at a glance. Plus you get an airflow control wheel.
As you can see this is not a simple fill up and go kit!
There is a 900mAh battery which charges via the USB Type C port at a slow-ish 0.78A charge rate.
You can select between auto draw firing or manual button firing.
Although usually the Novo pods are compatible between models, this version has its own pod range the “Novo 5”.
The pods are all 2ml in capacity and there is only one variant to choose from – the 0.7ohm MTL pod. You do get 2 of these pods included in the kit.
A top fill system should make filling easy.
There are 14 colours to choose from in two series…
Regular series: Silver Black Cobra, Silver Red Cobra, Rasta Green Cobra, 7-Colour Cobra, Green Blue Cobra, White Cobra, Black Cobra, Fluid 7-Colour, Fluid Black Grey and Red Stabilising Wood.
Leather Series: Beige White Leather, Brown Leather, Grey Leather and Black Carbon Fibre.

Hmm to me this is more of a “NORD” than a “NOVO”? No longer the simplified pod range we usually expect from the Novo branding?
