The Smok Nord Pro Kit is the latest addition to this very fertile family!
It is becoming hard to keep up with how many Nord versions there are – but from what I can work out we have – Nord, Nord 2, Nord X, Nord 4 and Nord 50W.
What Is New For The Smok Nord Pro Kit?
The most recent Nord kits have had all sorts of features – including screens and various adjustments.
For the Nord Pro Smok has gone back to the functionality of the original Nord with a few bonus features.
Inside the device is a 1100mAh battery and a USB Type C charge port is provided with a max 0.7A charge rate.
The output is stated as a maximum of 25W but this is not adjustable so I assume the device recognises the installed coil and adjusts the output to suit.
One of the most heard complaints about the original Nord was the fact the fire button could be triggered accidentally in pockets or bags.
Thankfully Smok has listened and the Nord Pro has both button activation and auto draw fire but even better you can actually disable the fire button operation with 3 clicks.
Rotate the pod 180° for 2 different airflow settings – a more restricted or more open airflow is available.
There is no screen so this version goes back to the simple coloured LED indicator located on the fire button.
The pod is refillable with up to 3.3ml (Standard) or 2ml (TPD Version) of your own e-liquid via the side fill port.
The coil is removable and replaceable and an extra coil locking mechanism is provided to make this more childproof.
This is compatible with previous Nord coils but also the two new Nord Pro meshed coils in 0.9ohm and 0.6ohm versions. These are both included in the kit.

I think the simplicity of the original Nord kit has been achieved with the Smok Nord Pro Kit and a few nice little extra features the original was lacking.
