The Smoant Levin is a new pod kit with the slogan “Born to be brilliant”! Also the name “Levin” apparently means Thunder and Lightning!
Smoant have been in the vape business for a long time bringing us vape gear such as the Pasito pod kits, Knight range and various Battlestar branded devices.
What To Expect From The Smoant Levin…
The Smoant Levin is designed to be a simple to use pod kit.
The main device has a 1000mAh battery which is charged in 45-60 minutes at a 1A charge rate via the USB Type C port.
Output wise this is specified as 5-30W but the Ant Chip inside the device selects the correct output for the pod installed – no adjustment required.
You get an airflow adjustment slider to choose your preferred incoming air volume.
Also some of the pod area is on display to view your e-liquid level.
A smart multicolour LED indicator is provided to show your battery charge level and any faults that occur.
A new range of Levin pods have been created which are refillable by removing the mouthpiece to reveal the fill port.
There are 3 pod options, each with a Mesh coil – 0.6ohm, 0.8ohm and 1ohm, sadly the website does not tell you which of these you get in the kit.
The pods will hold up to 2ml of your own e-liquid but are disposable when the coil performance has deteriorated. This is easier than replacing coils but not as wasteful as a disposable device as you only discard the pod component.
