Love the Riot Bar EDTN range and can’t get enough of them? Thankfully Riot have released the top Riot Bar EDTN longfills, so you can vape away on them to your hearts content!
Riot are one of the most recognisable names in the e-liquid industry and are one of the most popular choices for vapers across the UK. Their products are widely stocked across both high street and online vendors and they offer flavour choices to suit all palates.
We’ve previously reviewed the Riot Bar EDTN nic salt range and recently updated our Riot Connex range with the newest flavours they have released.
Let’s see what the Riot Bar EDTN longfills have got to offer!
What Can We Expect From Riot Bar EDTN Longfills?
Ten of the most popular Riot Bar EDTN flavours make their way into the longfill range. So you can enjoy even more of your favourite Riot Bar flavours without having to constantly re-order them. As well as having the ability to mix them the way you like them!
These have 30ml of zero nicotine flavour concentrate inside a 60ml bottle. Meaning you can also add a mixing kit, such as Nixer for example, to mix them up to your preferred nicotine strength or even add some menthol to add a chilly twist or heighten an existing one!
Before I start this review off, I must mention that as with any e-liquid, taste is subjective. In my review, I will write up my own thoughts on my experiences with each e-liquid. Your experience may differ, as people have differing palates, preferences on taste and different vaping set ups which can offer a totally different flavour experience.
Many thanks to Vape Club for sending the Riot Bar EDTN longfills range in for review! Let’s have a closer look at this range! As always, all views are my own…
Packaging
If you’ve vaped the 10ml Riot Bar EDTN bar salts before then you will instantly recognise these bottles. These look like giant versions of the 10ml nic salt versions, even possessing the distinctive bullet-shaped bottle caps, which have a childproof lock!
You’ve got the instantly recognisable Riot branding on the label. Which shows information such as the selected flavour, nicotine warnings, ingredients, company contact details, batch number and best before date.
How To Use Riot Squad Bar EDTN Longfills
With the longfill edition of these e-liquids, you get 30ml of zero nicotine flavour concentrate suspended in PG, inside a 60ml bottle. So, you have space to add in a mixing kit, such as the Nixer mixing kits which go perfectly with these. Or of course you can use standard 10ml nic shots. And you must mix these first before using them, otherwise you would be vaping straight up flavour concentrate!
By using your own choice of mixing kit, or PG, VG and/or nicotine if you have the supplies at home, you can mix these to your own specifications. Such as your preferred nicotine strength, VG/PG ratio or you can add a cooling effect to flavours that might not have previously had one, by using a Nixer Ice mixing kit for example.
If you prefer to vape mouth to lung, then it is advisable to use a 50/50 VG/PG kit. If you prefer blowing those big clouds then you will want to look at a 70/30 kit.
Just pop off the lid and add in your mixing kit. Once you have added your mixing kit of choice, simply give the bottle a shake. You will get 60ml of e-liquid mixed to your specified nicotine strength. It makes DIY mixing at home easy!
Apple & Blackcurrant
They say:
Indulge in the tantalising taste of crisp juicy apples balanced with the bold, tart notes of ripe blackcurrants.
We say:
Riot have outdone themselves with this unique and captivating blend!
The blackcurrant intertwines with the bright and refreshing apple. Creating a flavour profile that’s both familiar and extraordinary, with both flavours being very prominent. It’s like having a Ribena blackcurrant drink blended with an authentic and crisp apple flavouring.
The menthol adds a touch of coolness. I elevated the menthol by using a Nixer Ice mixing kit, which gave me a perfectly robust chill that suited this blend perfectly and tailored it to my strong menthol preferences.
Apple XL
They say:
Apple XL is where British cool meets orchard groove; think crisp beats of Red and Green apples dropping the freshest flavour tracks of the season.
We say:
No messing when it comes to this one!
Riot definitely don’t let up on the flavouring, this is a strong, disposable-styled blend that packs a lot of flavour and a lot of sweetener too.
It’s a punchy, in-your-face apple flavour that gives me the distinctive flavours of both Red and Green apples. I’m able to pick up on both individually and it never seemed like one was overpowering the other.
The aftertaste is quite sharp and crisp, a little on the sour side I might say. There’s also a light hint of a cooling sensation too, which gives it a fresh feel.
Blue Cherry Burst
They say:
Get ready for a cherry explosion! The burst of sweet juicy cherry combined with a Blue icy Slush leaves a mouth-watering cooling sensation.
We say:
Overall, I found the flavour profile of the Blue Cherry Burst to be a bit of a mixed bag.
On the one hand, the initial burst of sweet cherry flavour that I get on the inhale is quite enjoyable. It’s a sugary, candy-like taste that’s reminiscent of cherry lollies and a nice, refreshing chilly undertone runs right through this.
However, as I continued to vape, an artificial aftertaste becomes increasingly noticeable. It’s a chemical-like flavour that detracts from the overall experience. I think this might have been something to do with the Blue icy slush flavouring as I could barely pick up on that flavour but got this artificial taste instead.
Grape Ice
They say:
A divine set of dark grapes have been supercooled to supply a thin layer of an ice sensation as you take each vape. An icy cool grape sensation to take the top spot as your go-to flavour.
We say:
I was hoping for an authentic tasting grape here but I got that artificial, grape soda styled flavour instead with a sharp edge to it.
The menthol element to this is quite pleasant, there’s enough of it and I do get a refreshing chill when I take a puff on this. But unfortunately it is let down for my tastes by the strong, artificial grape flavouring.
I mean, it’s OK, it’s vapeable. But it certainly wouldn’t be my first choice if I was selecting a Grape Ice flavour to review. I prefer mine to be more authentic grape-tasting!
Lemon & Lime
They say:
Prepare to awaken your taste buds with this refreshing citrus explosion of sharp lemon and zesty lime, creating a burst of vibrant flavours.
We say:
Oh good, I always look forward to giving a Lemon and Lime blend a go!
Riot’s Lemon & Lime flavour is a refreshing and tangy blend of citrus notes. The initial inhale delivers a burst of zesty lemon, followed by a subtle lime undertone. The flavour is quite sweet, reminiscent of a sugary lemon & lime sweets.
There’s also a subtle note of koolada that I could detect, not an overwhelming blast by any means, but just a little hint in the blend.
I felt that whilst the overall flavour is enjoyable, it lacks the complexity and nuance of some of the other lemon and lime blends that I have enjoyed. It didn’t really do much to stand out from the crowd.
Peach Ice Tea
They say:
Inspired by the classic summer beverage, quench your thirst with this irresistible, sweet and ultra delicious peach ice tea vape.
We say:
Now we are talking, this is actually one of my favourite Riot e-liquids! Whilst the overall flavour profile slightly leans towards a more artificial taste, it’s still undeniably enjoyable. It’s one that I’ve been happy to purchase on repeat occasions.
The inhale delivers a juicy, ripe peach flavour that’s both sweet and tangy. The peach note is well-balanced, avoiding any cloying sweetness or artificial aftertaste.
The iced tea element adds a refreshing twist, cooling the palate with a subtle menthol sensation. It’s a perfect pairing with the peach, creating a harmonious blend that’s both refreshing and satisfying. Plus, I amplified this with a Nixer Ice kit to make it even cooler and that really hit the spot!
Pineapple Ice
They say:
Imagine taking a juicy bite of a perfectly ripe pineapple, with its natural sweetness bursting in your mouth. Now add a refreshing blast of menthol that instantly cools and invigorates your senses, creating a sensational contrast. The combination of tropical sweetness and chilling freshness in our Pineapple Ice e-liquid is a game-changer that will elevate your vaping experience to new heights.
We say:
On the inhale I get a sharp and icy blast of menthol right from the off, that almost jolts me with the strength of it! As the menthol fades, a juicy and tangy authentic pineapple flavour emerges, balancing the coolness with a tropical sweetness.
The pineapple flavour is surprisingly authentic, with a natural sweetness to it too. Pretty much tasting like a fresh pineapple. There’s a subtle hint of bitterness which adds depth and complexity to the flavour profile, elevating the overall experience.
The combination of icy menthol and ripe pineapple creates a truly refreshing and enjoyable vape. It’s one of the top Pineapple Ice flavours that I have tried!
Red Razz
They say:
Surrender to temptation with this Red Raspberry Ripple intertwined with an icy sensation that sends chills down your spine, leaving you wanting more.
We say:
Red Raspberry has an almost perfect blend of sweetness and tartness. It’s just the sweetness level overtakes the tart notes here and it is just a touch too sweet for me!
The initial inhale gives me a juicy and sweet raspberry taste, followed by a tangy aftertaste that keeps my taste buds on their toes. Though I’m definitely left with a very sweet aftertaste from this.
Much like the Pineapple Ice, the cooling effect is noticeable right from the off here, seemingly increasing in intensity up to the exhale.
Honestly, if a bit of cream flavouring had been added into this then I’m sure this would make for the perfect Raspberry Ripple vape!
Strawberry & Blueberry Ice
They say:
Strap in for this strawberry and blueberry medley that is bursting at the seams with its fruity goodness and ice cold persona.
We say:
Riot Bars EDTN Strawberry & Blueberry Ice e-liquid is a delightful blend of sweet and tart flavours, tempered by a refreshing icy kick.
Upon inhaling, a burst of juicy strawberries and blueberries fills my palate. The flavours are well-defined, with the sweetness of the strawberries complementing the tartness of the blueberries. The icy element adds a cool, refreshing sensation that lingers on the exhale.
This e-liquid strikes a perfect balance between the fruit elements, offering a satisfying vaping experience without being overly sweet or overpowering.
Tropical Punch
They say:
Let this tropical infusion transport you to a sunny paradise, it’s an exotic twist of dragon fruit and juicy peach bringing you the ultimate summer vibes.
We say:
I’ve vaped this one before as a 10ml bar salt, so I figured that I would shake things up here by adding in a Nixer Ice mixing kit!
This e-liquid masterfully blends the sweet and tangy notes of dragon fruit with the juicy sweetness of ripe peach. The dragon fruit adds a unique and exotic twist, with its sweet and slightly tart flavour. The peach, on the other hand, provides a classic fruity taste that’s both familiar and comforting.
Riot have balanced out the sweetness and tartness impeccably here and ensured that flavour delivery is absolutely maxed out.
The ice from the Nixer Ice mixing kit compliments this one well. Rather than being an overpowering chilly kick it is more of a subtle chilled undertone that goes well with the dragon fruit and peach flavourings, adding another layer to it.
Final Review Verdict
I’m quite well acquainted with the Riot Bar EDTN range, having reviewed them and vaped them for quite some time. There’s no new flavours developed for the longfill versions, just the ten most popular Riot Bar EDTN flavours.
These tasted exactly as I expected them to after mixing them up, with flavours that I am familiar with instantly recognisable. I was also able to put a new spin on a few by adding in a Nixer Ice mixing kit or I could get the nicotine strength to suit the device I was using.
Having the ability to just dump in a mixing kit and get yourself 60ml of ready-to-vape e-liquid is a big plus point here. This saves you money over buying six 10ml bottles separately, so your wallet is better off in the long run!
Many thanks to Vape Club for sending the Riot Bar EDTN longfills over for review! You can grab these from them for £9.99 per bottle or 2 for £15. And don’t forget your Nixer mixing kit for £2.49!
