The Rincoe TIX Pod will only be the second product I have reviewed from this brand.
My first involvement with Rincoe was when I reviewed their Manto S kit which I found very favourable.
The Rincoe TIX Pod Kit is the third Pod Kit release from Rincoe following on from the Ceto SE and Neso X Pod Kits.
What Can We Expect From The TIX Pod Kit from Rincoe?
Like most pod systems on the market today, the TIX is very is small. It fits in the hand very well but is quite a weighty device, so you know it’s there. Good for people like me who have a tendency to loose small objects.
I received the TIX Pod Kit in Blazing Skull design but it does come in a total of seven designs.
We have seen a very similar design before so for anyone with the Artery PAL 2, you will certainly be very familiar with this design.
The device was sent to me for review. As always, I will give you my own, honest opinion of this product after a lengthy testing period.

Design and Build Quality
There is quite a lot of weight in the Rincoe TIX Pod System and it certainly feels of premium quality in your hand. The body of the device is made up of Zinc Alloy with In Mould Labelling (IML) so the feature design can’t and won’t peel.
The finish on the TIX is very good quality with very durable paintwork. As you can see from the designs above, there are various design options and it all adds to make the Pod System a bit more personal to the individual vaper.
The back plate of this device is held very firmly in place with three very strong magnets. There is very slight movement but there is no rattle at all.
Throughout my time with the Rincoe TIX Pod system, no matter which coil I have used, I have not had one drop of e-liquid leak from the Pods. Also, another thing to note is that the condensation under the Pod is very minimal.
Unlike some other Pod Kits, this has withstood some heavy coin battering in my pocket and there isn’t a chip or mark on it.
Lanyard
The kit includes a lanyard. This is attached on the corner of the mod. There is also an added extra that you can purchase, though they may put them in some sort of SE packaging, is a Bling Bling metal chain, if that’s something you fancy! It’s similar to the one included in Voopoo Drag Nano kit.
LED Indicator | Button Function
There are two LED indicators on the side of the device, above and below the power selection button.
The LED at the top of the button shows you what power output is selected and the LED on the bottom indicates the battery level.
To vape with the Rincoe TIX, you have a shield shaped fire button on the front of the device. This has an auto cut off of eight seconds of continuous vaping.
As well as the fire button, this also turns your device on and off with a quick succession of five presses.
Cycling through the power output settings is done by pressing the button between the two LED’s on the side once.
The different outputs with a single click are:
- Red – 3.3V
- Blue – 3.65V
- Green – Full Battery Output
As is standard, the TIX Pod Kit has all the usual safety features you would expect!
POD | Coils | Airflow
The quality of the Pod provided is very good, nice and sturdy and will certainly last you a good while.
The only gripe I have from the pods is that you are unable to see the level of your e-liquid inside the Pod. This could be easily remedied by making the Pod with a clearer material.
One other con regarding the Pod is that the rubber bung used to cover the fill hole.
It could be better marked as to which side you lift up to reveal the fill port. If you lift up the wrong side of the rubber bung, it is next to useless and ready for the bin unless you are lucky enough to be able to fix it again.
The mouthpiece on the pod is very good, it is kind of like the traditional Pod mouthpiece permanently fixed to the Pod. It does feel very comfortable in the mouth whilst vaping.
The TIX Pod is held firmly in the Pod housing in the main body.
It can be removed with a little wiggle and inserted into the main body with a little push. Once the Pod is seated within the main body, the back plate is put on to cover it.
Though the Pod will easily sit in place and not fall out without the back plate.
The airflow for the Pod is easily adjusted. You simply turn the bottom airflow ring until you find your required air flow.
You simple remove the Pod from the main body and twist the bottom airflow ring to your required level. You can also alter it whilst the Pod is still seated in the main body though it is a little difficult.
How Does The Rincoe TIX Pod Kit Perform?
First up lets quickly go through a quick guide on how to use and set up the device.
Charging the TIX
You simply plug in the USB Type C cable in the provided port on the side of the device.
The charge time from flat is around 50 minutes.
How to Fill and Replace the Pod
To fill the TIX pod you simply:
- Remove the back plate from the Rincoe TIX main body then remove the pod
- If you do not need to change your coil, simply remove the correct side of the bung and put in your e-liquid
- Fill with e-liquid, close the filling port, replace the back plate.
One thing to note that the Rincoe TIX Pods can be filled whilst still in the main body so it’s down to personal preference if you fill the pod whilst in or out of the body.
How To Change The Tix Coil
Changing the coil is simple:
- Remove pod from body
- Turn the pod upside down
- Unscrew the coil from the pod
- Unscrew the coil from the air adjustment ring
- Replace your coil with a new one and screw it back into the pod.
- Repeat the process above for filling up your pod but wait for several minutes before vaping for the coil to soak up the e-liquid.
The Rincoe TIX is a great piece of kit. It performs very well and there is a vape setting for everyone.
With both coils, you can vape Mouth to Lung (MTL) and Direct to Lung (DTL) using either 50/50 Nic Salts/freebase e liquid or a 70VG/30PG e-liquid.
Both coils perform very well and I never got a burnt taste or notion of a dry hit at all.
Where this kit performs the best, for me, is with Nic Salts vaped as a MTL device.
That’s not to say it doesn’t perform well as a DTL device, I’m just saying I think the performance is better suited to a MTL vape. The draw isn’t super tight which suits my style of vaping.
You get a very pleasant vape with DTL. It is however somewhat restricted as you would expect from a Pod Kit.
Flavour | Vapour
The flavour from the Rincoe TIX is very good though I would say as previously mentioned, it really comes into its own when using the kit as a MTL device with 50/50 Nic Salts.
1.0ohm Regular Coil
I used a 50/50 Nic Salt (Strapped – Super Rainbow Candy) mainly with this coil as an MTL vape and this is where the 1.0ohm Regular coil performs better over using it as a DTL coil.
When vaping as MTL with minimum airflow, you can taste the different flavour notes from the e-liquid, unlike using this coil as DTL.
When testing out this coil as a DTL vape, I used a 70VG/30PG e-liquid (Desired Dessert – Raspberry Tart).
Though it performed admirably, there was no flavour notes to speak of from the e-liquid and the flavour was rather muted compared to using the coil as a MTL vape.
The favoured setting for me whilst MTL vaping with the 1.0ohm coil was on the blue/medium setting. This not only got that little extra from the battery, I found the flavour from this coil popped on this setting.
0.8ohm Mesh Coil
Throughout my time testing out the Mesh Coil, I used the same e-liquids as with the 1.0ohm coil to see if there was any significant difference between the two.
Using Nic Salts as an MTL vape, air flow closed right down, the Mesh coil performed very well, certainly on par with the 1.0ohm Regular coil.
Again, flavour notes from the Nic Salts were clearly evident when you were vaping.
Where the Mesh Coil clearly out performed the 1.0ohm regular coil for me, was when you used the Rincoe TIX as a restricted DTL vape.
Having the air flow wide open, using the same 70VG/30PG e-liquid, there was a very distinct flavour difference between the two. I was able to differentiate between the flavour notes and there was certainly more flavour there than with the 1.0ohm Regular coil.
Big clouds are not what pod kits were made for, so don’t buy this if plumes of vapour is what you want. You do get an average cloud with the air flow control fully open using a DTL style vape.
I used both coils for slightly over a week and they were both going strong. I would estimate, like most other coils that you would get up to a week and a half, two weeks at a push, again, it would all depend on how you are using the kit and with what vape juice.
Voltage Modes
There is a slight notable difference between the different voltage modes:
- At 3.3V, you get a nice cool vape
- At 3.65V, the vape warms up a little
- At max voltage, you get more of a warm throat hit
One thing to note, the higher up in wattage you go, the battery life will be reduced.
Battery Life
The battery life from the Rincoe TIX Pod Kit is excellent using it as a MTL device.
You get a 1000mAh internal battery, it will last you well over a day if you aren’t using it as a main device. Like most users, pod systems are a general carry round to be used out and about and for stealth vaping.
With this device, the battery longevity depends on your settings and the way you vape.
If you vape on max settings as a DTL device, you will reduce the battery life considerably than if you were vaping on the lowest to middle setting doing a MTL vape style.
Pros
- Very Small
- Portable and stealthy
- Optional voltage output modes
- Excellent flavour
- Premium build
- Refillable Pods
- Replaceable coils
- Type C charging
- Airflow Adjustment
- Optional Bling Metal Chain
Cons

Final Review Verdict
Rincoe have done a very good job with the TIX Pod Kit. They have tried to provide something for everyone. You have a refillable pod, changeable coils and adjustable air flow.
You could, at a push, use this device as a main kit though I feel it is aimed at an entry level vaper or someone who wants a stealth device.
The Rincoe TIX is very well build and provides a solid vape no matter what style you choose.
I will certainly carry on using the device in the future.
