A bunch of RELX Waka SoPro PA600 Disposable Vapes have arrived with me for review!
Although the manufacturer is “Waka” – these devices use technology from the large vape firm RELX.
Also their logo has the text “Empowered by RELX” just to confirm the technology used.
RELX have been around for quite a while and provide the underlying technology for many vape brands.
We have reviewed RELX devices before including the RELX Pod Kit and the Infinity Pro Kit and found them to be impressive.
However this is my first review for the brand – so let’s see how the RELX Waka SoPro PA600 (long name that!) fare in this over saturated disposable vape market.
Big thanks to Vape Club for sending over samples for the purposes of this review. As always, my views are my own.
What Can We Expect From The RELX Waka SoPro PA600?
Promising up to 600 puffs these come in 10 different flavours of the Fruit and Beverage variety.
Inside the device is a 550mah “Pure Cobalt” battery (?) which apparently improves power stability by 60%.
The capacity of e-liquid is capped to 2ml to meet TPD regulations and the nicotine salt strength is 18mg.
A “Mesh 2.0” coil is used which appears to be the same technology found in the RELX MagicGo range, but the coil resistance is not specified.

Build Quality
The RELX Waka SoPro PA600 disposables come packaged in a Cardboard box. Open the box and you will find the device enclosed in a sealed Plastic bag.
The box details all ingredients, any possible allergens, required warnings and plenty of info.
This is a small smooth comfy device in the hand and the base houses an LED indicator which is a bit hard to see it light up when vaping.
The LED is a different colour depending on the device – for instance a Blue LED on the Blueberry Splash and Kiwi Passion Guava.
A Red LED on the Strawberry Burst and Pink Lemonade. The Yellow LED on the Yellow Triple Mango device makes it even harder to see though.
The top half of the device is a smooth Plastic and the bottom half has a ridged texture and for want of a better word a “blob” with the Waka “W” symbol.
Also on the base is the airflow inlet and the required legal symbols.
Quick Start Guide
There are no instructions but to be honest they are pretty simple to use so I can let them off a bit.
Just remember to remove the Silicone plug from the mouthpiece before you attempt to vape!!
Also there is a sticker on the base to remove, if you leave this on it will just not work as there is no airflow to trigger the auto draw firing system.
Watermelon Chill
They say
The Watermelon Chill Waka soPro PA600 disposable vape features the sweet, crisp notes of watermelon on inhale before a frosty blast of ice develops on exhale.
We say
This is a pretty well balanced watermelon ice styled vape!
I get a pretty sweet watermelon flavour that doesn’t taste as strong or artificial as a lot of other disposable vapes on the market do, and I don’t get the feeling that this one is overloaded with artificial sweetener either.
It’s a candied watermelon flavour, but I think the fact that the flavouring isn’t so strong makes this a lot more vapeable than most others out there.
There’s a nice and subtle icy breeze at the end of this which combines well with the sweet watermelon flavouring.
Combined with the menthol chill on the exhale, this is actually a pretty refreshing watermelon vape I must say.
Blueberry Raspberry
They say
The Blueberry Raspberry Waka soPro PA600 disposable vape features a punchy double-berry blend. The bold flavours of sweet blueberry and tangy raspberry combine from start to finish.
We say
I think the flavours here are just a little bit too muted.
There’s definitely some blueberry and raspberry flavouring there, but they aren’t really strong enough to deliver that sweet and sour punch of blueberry and raspberry.
It’s a shame really as the blueberry and raspberry flavours have promise and this could be a really good blend if only the flavouring percentage was a little bit stronger.
If you take short draws then you aren’t really going to get much out of this one in terms of flavour, you’ve got to have a good, hard 2-3 second pull on this to really get any of the flavour out of it.
Lemon Lime
They say
The Lemon Lime Waka soPro PA600 disposable vape is a bold citrus blend that’s ideal if you
prefer things on the tangy side. The juicy flavours of zingy lemon and zesty lime combine in every puff.
We say
Got a pretty decent lemon and lime blend here!
I get more of a sherbet lemon flavour, which might be due to a high amount of sweetener present, and it is the most dominant flavour note here for me.
The lemon gives way to a zesty, candied lime flavouring with the two flavours pairing up beautifully.
I’m not normally one for a candied type of flavour but this didn’t taste too overpowering and was quite a subtle compliment to the lemon flavouring.
Pink Lemonade
Waka Says:
“This is a lovely fresh aroma. The top notes fizz with zesty Lemons for a thrilling sour tingle, while the bottom notes of blended Strawberry and Cranberry add a gentle sweetness into the mix. Just the right amount of sweet—and very refreshing!”
I Say…
Pink Lemonade is one of my favourite flavours so have been looking forward to this one!
And it doesn’t disappoint!
Yummy!
You get a slightly sour edge from the Lemonade on inhaling then the Pink fruits come to life just before it gets too tangy and brings the cuddly sweetness.
Delicious, I could vape this all day. It has put a big smile on my face. Lovely!
There is a bit of cooling on the inhale but it works perfectly making this super refreshing.
I am not getting any “fizz” which some Pink Lemonade liquids manage to provide and have knocked it down half a point. But even so this is an absolute beauty.
Kiwi Passion Guava
Waka Says:
Sadly no description for this flavour?
I Say…
OK then let’s get this out of the way – a combination of my least favourite flavours (apart from Mango) so am dreading it a bit!
Wow – what a happy surprise!
It is not detergenty – which is what I usually expect with Guava and Kiwi!
It is actually quite sweet and fruity with a small hint of cooling.
Am really impressed, Waka have produced something I like from a combo of flavours I usually hate!
This is so well balanced, the cooling is just a hint in the background to prevent it getting too earthy.
There is plenty of sweetener but not enough to make it sickly and it leaves a lovely aftertaste on the tongue.
Fabulous work RELX / Waka!!!
Blueberry Splash
Waka Says:
“The richly blended aroma bursts with tangy ripe Blueberries. The full-bodied taste blends to a deep sweetness that cascades over the taste buds, delivering a hearty berry treat.”
I Say…
This is another of the type of flavours I would buy myself. I am partial to Blackberry, Blueberry, Raspberry and Cherry type vapes.
Just one puff of this and I was in love. Stunning flavour blending.
This is on the sweeter side for a fruity vape, but never gets to the point of being sickly.
The flavour just seems to be a huge ball of deliciousness, it keeps evolving from a slightly tart inhale into a really rich and sweet berry flavour.
Add to that a touch of cooling that you can only notice after exhaling and this is a 10/10 for me all day long. Epic – really epic – am so so pleased with the quality of the blending here.
Triple Mango
Waka Says:
“This rich aroma bursts with the exotic flavor of ripe Mangoes. Layers of the ripe fruit have been blended together, providing a deep sweetness that transports the taste buds to the tropics.”
I Say…
Another of my least favourite vape flavours is Mango. Sorry but I can never get on with the earthy / soily taste of Mango vapes – despite being addicted to Mango Chutney!
Time to “girl up” and get stuck in.
It is pretty much what I expected there is that earthy back note but it has been lifted into a more floral perfumed variety of Mango.
It has not changed my opinion of Mango vapes but it is one of the better ones I have sampled.
I really don’t like it and some might argue that the perfumey nature makes this taste more synthetic.
But having tried many disgusting Mango flavours in the past, this would rank higher in enjoyability than the majority of them.
I have marked it down a bit as the perfume level might put people off.
Strawberry Burst
Waka Says:
Unfortunately there is no flavour description for this one either.
I Say…
This was the first device I tried – it appealed to me the most!
Delicious, really beautiful!
The first vape was all I needed to know I loved it.
There is a very slight but really well managed hint of cooling but it is not minty or overdone.
Also despite being a sweet Strawberry flavour again the sweetener has not been overdone either.
To me the blending and attention to balance is absolutely perfect and there is a lovely flavour concentration without being overwhelming.
Performance
The RELX Waka SoPro PA600 is a simple to use vape and the auto draw was super quick and smooth.
The coil resistance (whatever it might be) and power output are perfect meaning the stunning flavours really have every opportunity to shine.
I didn’t notice any drop in output until either the e-liquid or battery conked out.
How Many Puffs Did I get from the Waka SoPro PA600?
As the nicotine strength here (18mg) is triple what I usually use (6mg), I was taking far fewer vapes on this.
Puff counts are pretty meaningless to me, it all depends on how long you inhale for. A long puff could equal multiple short puffs so it is all very very murky.
I timed my puffs and I take around a 3-4 second puff. Therefore you could (in theory) double the puff count if you only took 2 second puffs.
As I am unable to constantly vape on this (a lot higher nicotine than I am used to) I can’t time how long it lasts, so I will just have to report on my own puff count for the devices tested which I am recording.
Strawberry Burst
Sadly I only reached 190 puffs and the last 5-10 puffs were on the verge of a dry hit – even a couple of full-on dry yukky vapes.
Then the device stopped working and the LED flashed, so I would say the battery and e-liquid levels are compatible with each other, both failing at roughly the same time.
It would be better if the device could cut off before you get the horrible dry hits as they are never pleasant.
Blueberry Splash
I already have had quite a few vapes on this so it might not be as accurate. I counted 140 puffs – but I was unsure about how many I had before counting, but it was 50 puffs maximum.
Again the dry hit and battery dying came within 2 puffs of each other – so more proof that the e-liquid and battery capacity are in harmony.
Pink Lemonade
Again I had already used this before I started counting but I would say it was a maximum of around 20 puffs.
So add this to the 160 puffs I recorded = 180 puffs roughly.
I did get a few dry hits and had to stop vaping before the battery LED started flashing, so in this case the e-liquid expired before the battery.
Final Review Verdict
The device performance was spot on, a super quick auto draw activation, a perfect MTL airflow resistance and I had no faulty or leaky devices.
I only got less than 200 puffs per device, but I do take long puffs of around 4 seconds. The average is around 2 seconds so this would give 300-400 puffs.
Again the puff count is meaningless unless the length of inhale is specified. This is more economical on e-liquid use than the 85-100 puffs I got per 2ml on the Innokin Endura S1.
It would be a huge improvement if the device would stop working when the e-liquid ran out as some of the dry hits were unpleasant! However it wasn’t long after this that the battery died anyway.
As for flavours – I am so so surprised! RELX and Waka have managed to concoct combos of flavours I usually despise into something fruity and delicious.
The blending is absolutely spot on and the sweetener and cooling never become overpowering. The Pink Lemonade, Blueberry Splash and Strawberry Burst all put a huge smile on my face.
I was really not looking forward to some of the flavours but Waka have changed my mind into how good they can be (apart from Mango – obviously!)
Chucking the whole device away when the e-liquid is empty, coil knackered or battery just needs charging, feels very very wrong.
I will try to recycle these with my battery recycling collection offered by my local council and see how that goes. Any devices which still have life left, I clean and donate to friends or a local addiction service.
But on the whole these are a great buy if you are into disposables or just fancy grabbing one instead of a pack of ciggies. These will give any potential vaper a wonderful impression of how good vaping can be.
Let me know if you have tried the RELX Waka SoPro PA600 in the comments below!
Im someone who rarely tried different brand. i usually stick to 4-5 brand and keep rotating between those 4-5 brand every week/month. One day, Im on way to office and my pod died on me. then i saw this Waka PA600 in Shell petrol station. It was super cheap and im in need of nicotine so i thought i give it a try. I bought the cappuccino one. To my surprise, this little thing pack quite a punch especially on the flavoring department. when u inhale them, u kinda forgot that this thing is super tiny. Too bad this is not rechargeable. The battery died when the flavor is still strong. What a waste though. Would i recommend it? Yes, i would recommend giving it a try for those who never tried it yet. But i will not going to buy it again anytime soon because of the battery life. For me it tooks like 1.5-2 days for the battery to die. I would definitely buy it again if they make it rechargeable and maybe increase the puff count a little bit.
In conclusion, im very impress with the flavor of this dwarf. Would probably try their other product to see if they are as good as this one
