Today I’m taking a look at the Re-Salt 10ml E-liquid range.
UK based Dispergo are the guys behind the Re-Salt range of E-liquids. They’ve been mixing for over eight years now with various lines under their belt so they should have an idea of what makes a flavour taste great.
They’re a bunch of dessert flavour freaks at heart and responsible for some rather complex arrangements. Take the Jack Rabbit Vapes range, for example.
.. I’m in my element with those!
So we’re talking complexity and attention to detail. Detail backed up and approved by relevant regulatory bodies such as MHRA UK (Medicines & Healthcare products Regulation Agency UK).
The Re-Salt range sees a change of direction. These are mostly fruity, drinks inspired creations. Needless to say, there’s still room for a cheeky dessert flavour!
What Can We Expect From the Re-Salt 10ml E-liquid Range?
So we get thirteen different flavours to pick from. These are mostly fruity, menthol vapes all of which will have a very broad appeal.
They’re all available in 5mg, 10mg or 20mg salt nicotine strengths. The lighter smoker isn’t always catered for so it’s nice to see the release of that lower strength version.
So whether you’re a heavy smoker or not the Re-Salt range has got you covered.
The E-liquid is a 50VG/50PG mixture. This simply means the range is better suited to lower powered devices such a pod kits and MTL (Mouth To Lung) starter kits.
Try them with coil resistances in the range of 0.6ohm – 1.2ohm for best flavour results.
This E-liquid density also means you shouldn’t expect massive cloud production. You’ll get the vapour equivalent of cigarette smoke. Relatively thin and wispy.

Big shout out to Vape Club for sending the Re-Salt e-liquids across for review. It’s very much appreciated.
Remember that taste is subjective. I can only describe what I’m personally getting from the range. Whether these flavours are to your liking or not at least you’ll get an idea of what to expect.
I used the Voopoo Doric Q MTL pod kit to test the flavours, using the 1.0ohm ITO pod and running at a conservative 12W.
Blue Power
Dispergo Says:
Blends the sweet yet tangy taste of Blue Raspberry, dark notes of freshly-picked Cherries with tart Pineapple
I Say:
It’s too much on the synthetic side for my liking. The Raspberry is the leading culprit. It tastes strong and acrid – not what I was expecting at all.
This is one of those vapes where flavours have a tendency to conflict. That’s especially true in the case of Cherries. They just don’t work with the other berries in Blue Power.
Don’t get me wrong. The flavour is plentiful but it’s just not to my particular liking. I find it a bit sulphuric tasting, if that does indeed make any sense.
There’s just too much bitterness filtering through on the exhale and I’ll be damned if I can make out any Pineapple.
I’m also left with a foul after taste on the palate, so that doesn’t help things.
All in all, I found Blue Power to be far too artificial tasting to enjoy.
Double Menthol
Dispergo Says:
A straightforward flavour that features cool notes of chilly Menthol throughout, from inhale to exhale.
I Say:
That initial icy blast to the tonsils hits hard with Double Menthol. Just as it should do.
I can even sense the minty tones on the inhale, just prior to being unleashed on the way out. For a Menthol vape it really doesn’t get more refreshing than this.
The reason is that said Menthol isn’t.. well.. as characteristically Menthol as I was expecting. It can be a bit clinical tasting – almost to the point of having the teeth cleaned by an E-liquid. Am I making any sense? lol
So the addition of a fresh tasting Mint is a welcome one. It spices things up a bit and just gives a straight shot of Menthol something else to work with.
It’s a great combination. As a consequence Double Menthol is a vape that I could easily vape all day. For pleasure as well as palate cleansing.
Of course, if you miss the days of purchasing Menthol cigarettes and you’re new to vaping this is going to be one you need to check out.
Fruit Salad
Dispergo Says:
Combining juicy-tasting Raspberry and tangy Pineapple notes, before sweetening things up further with sugary candy undertones.
I Say:
Oh yes! very nice indeed.
Tasty, refreshing and packed full of character. That’s just how a Fruit Salad sweet should taste. It’s not actually overloaded with sweetener either which is another plus.
It’s all reliant on that initial burst of Pineapple. The underlying theme with Fruit Salad and it works an absolute treat.
Expect the Raspberry notes later on, as they break through the prickly fruit to leave their mark on the palate post vape.
They’re the notes primarily responsible for the candy like edge, meaning they’re not the most authentic in terms of fruit. But they certainly play an important part overall.
This one has been blended to perfection and if you like Fruit Salad Chews, then you’re going to love this!
I’m taken back to my childhood. Some would say I never left it!
Mixed Berries
Dispergo Says:
A juicy-tasting medley of Berry fruits. The sweetness of Cherry is sharpened by the tangier notes of Blackberry and Redcurrant.
I Say:
This is a very pleasant mix of fruity flavours of which Blackberry is the most prevalent.
Redcurrant is mentioned in the flavour description but I’m getting more of the sweetness and sourness of Blackcurrant if I’m being honest.
It’s the richness of these flavour notes that really does keep Mixed berries bouncing along.
I wouldn’t say there’s anything particularly sharp about the exhale and the omission of Koolada is much appreciated in this case.
This is a vape that’s bursting with Summer fruits and actually comes across as a tasty beverage style vape.
There’s more than enough flavour consistency to keep it popping along.
Tropical Breeze
Dispergo Says:
An exotic fruit blend with a frosty finish. It balances the sweetness of Passionfruit with tangy Pineapple before cooling things down with chilly Menthol.
I Say:
This one is blended to perfection!
The back of the throat is caressed by a sensible level of Koolada, which makes a pleasant change from the norm these days. It doesn’t cut a hole in the tonsils and neither is it overly sharp on the inhale.
That’s backed up by a pleasing rush of sweetness on the way out which doesn’t override the fruitiness Tropical Breeze has to offer.
And the first thing to strike is the Pineapple with all its authentic appeal. Yes, it really is that good – still reminiscent of a hard candy sweet but flavoursome nevertheless.
It lingers and loiters on the palate in a satisfying manner and sometimes incorporates a few Mango back notes.
Passionfruit is another matter. It’s probably hidden under the weight of the main fruit. It’s not all that noticeable here but there’s still no taking away from the richness and depth Tropical Breeze delivers.
An ideal accompaniment, any time of the year.
Vanilla Donut
Dispergo Says:
A decadent dessert blend that recreates the sweet, indulgent flavour of Vanilla Donuts for a rich vape.
I Say:
Oh Wow! Dare I say it but I think I’ve just found my personal favourite out of the range. Probably no surprise given I’m a dessert flavour freak but it’s not always that easy to recreate the taste of a fresh Donut.
It’s been masterfully achieved with Vanilla Donut.
From the very first exhale I knew I was in for a treat. The freshly fried Donut is instantly recognisable, right down to that light sprinkling of sugar on the top.
Incredible.
I can almost sense the Vanilla cream oozing out. This flavour works wonders on the imagination and that’s always the acid test when sampling premium tasting E-liquid.
It’s a vape I enjoy savouring with long, drawn out exhales to squeeze out all the subtle nuances.
All this from a low powered, 12W MTL device. Say no more – guess the score!
Vanilla Tobacco
Dispergo Says:
The woody, earthy taste of roasted Tobacco with the creamy notes of Vanilla for a rich vape.
I Say:
This really shouldn’t work, should it. I mean – Tobacco with cream?
This is the reason I continue to love flavour testing. It’s for the manufacturers prepared to try something a bit different. Ok, it doesn’t always work when there’s not enough creative thought applied but sometimes, just sometimes it does.
Point in case. Vanilla Tobacco.
The Vanilla cream is an absolute dream! It barges its way through the exhale like there’s no tomorrow and I for one, love that.
You could put it down to my dessert flavour preferences of course but there’s no denying its effective here when placed against the woody, roasted appeal of the Tobacco sub notes.
Somehow the two main ingredients appear a vape match made in heaven.
The clever part is that Dispergo have refrained from adding any frosty content. Amen to that!
As a result I’m blessed with a flavour of epic appeal! Great work.
Vim Toes
Dispergo Says:
Replicating the taste of a popular fruity drink with notes of Blackcurrant, Grape and Raspberry.
I Say:
There’s a whole lotta flavour going on with Vim Toes. Pretty good play on words too. Have your toes ever “vimmed”? One thing’s for sure, there’s nothing “Toe-curling” about what we get with this one.
It’s got something of an originality to it although I wouldn’t quite put it in the same vape park as the popular fruity beverage.
I think there’s more of a blending of fruits going on. It gives the impression of containing at least three, put it that way. But for me to put a finger on what’s most noticeable? That’s another story.
There’s not much in the way of Grape. Trust me, I would’ve known straight away! Blackcurrant seems to be highest on the list and for me, personally there’s actually a few notes of Cherry thrown in.
Possibly a subtle nod to Raspberry here and there but as I say, it’s definitely a blend of fruits.
I’ve scored this quite high because I like the originality. It might not quite taste like Vimto but who cares?
Rhubarb Razz
Dispergo Says:
a tangy combination of berry flavours, complementing sharp rhubarb notes with the tart taste of raspberry.
I Say:
E-liquids with rhubarb in the flavour profile have been a bit hit and miss for me over time.
Rhubarb Razz leans more towards being a ‘hit’ for me, but after vaping a tank full of this I feel that I wasn’t particularly blown away with it.
I actually get more of the raspberry flavour than the rhubarb coming through, and what tasted to me like a hint of blueberry in the background.
I felt that the rhubarb flavouring could have been dialled up just a notch, to provide a sharpness that would contrast and cut through the sweetness that I get from the berry flavouring.
Mango Punch
Dispergo Says:
a sweet and juicy mango flavour with tangy pineapple and orange, offering a layered vape with contrasting notes.
I Say:
I guess they are going for a mixed fruit punch flavour with this e-liquid, however the ‘punch’ here comes from the absolute wallop of mango that I get from this flavour!
The mango flavour is definitely the most dominant flavour note that I get when vaping this e-liquid, I found that the pineapple and mango notes were quite muted, and definitely more of a background flavour.
I even tried this using a couple of different vaping set ups, and varied the power output on the devices, but I still did struggle to pick up the pineapple and orange notes in this e-liquid. The mango flavouring is excellent however, and the juicy, exotic flavour notes of a mango shine through.
Even though this for me is more of a predominantly mango flavoured vape, rather than a mango punch, I’m happy to still score this one quite highly based on how good the mango flavour is, I really enjoyed this one!
Butterscotch
Dispergo Says:
an indulgent, dessert-inspired blend that delivers the rich and golden notes of butterscotch with each puff.
I Say:
Ok so butterscotch is one of my favourite flavours, so I was very excited to give this one a try!
And I can say that Re-Salt have done a fantastic job with this one. It’s very much a straight up butterscotch flavour, but it has been mixed just right and comes off as a lovely buttery, creamy vape, without being too rich or heavy.
It seems like they haven’t piled a load of sweetener into it either like with some other butterscotch e-liquids that I have tried in the past. They have just allowed the creamy butterscotch to shine and deliver a really tasty vape.
I enjoyed this one so much that my 10ml bottle barely lasted me two days! Outstanding stuff.
Peach Ice Tea
Dispergo Says:
Peach Ice Tea captures the flavour of a classic soft drink by combining a sweet peach flavour with botanical notes of tea and a cool finish.
I Say:
I’m very partial to a glass (or can!) of cold peach iced tea, and over my years of vaping I have been fortunate enough to try some really good peach iced tea e-liquids.
And I can happily say that this one from Re-Salt is very enjoyable indeed, the inhale delivers a juicy and sweet peach flavouring with a nice little hint of tea flavouring in the background.
This is blended really well, with the juicy peach flavouring taking centre stage, and the tea flavouring just complimenting the peach without being too strong or overpowering. Just like the drink itself!
There’s a nice chilly finish to this e-liquid too, encapsulating the vibe of drinking a cold glass of iced tea! I can see myself really enjoying this one on a hot summer’s day.
Final Review Verdict
I kept mentioning something in the reviews that is quite relevant – “Flavour blending”.
Even if the fruits were generic and artificial tasting they were still blended well. To the point that some tasted original and different. I liked that. So the Re-Salt range are able to deliver something that disposable vapes can’t straight out of the box.
It’s not as if I were even reminded of disposable vapes because the sweetness levels were on par with the range.
The vapour production was on point, emulating the draw created from cigarette smoke so the new or casual vaper will feel very much at home.
And that’s not forgetting flavour consistency.
It’s present with each and every vape. Nothing tapers off and the palate is treated to a few additional flavour notes after the vape is complete. Always the sign of decent concentration levels. They haven’t been skimped on put it that way.
Yes, I do prefer natural tasting fruits and the dessert based flavours were always going to be my favourites but for the average Joe or Julie, the Re-Salt range delivers a decent vape.
