PUFFMI TX600 PRO Disposable Vape Review – Join Me For A Puff

New in for review are the PUFFMI TX600 PRO disposable vapes.

I can’t say I’m very familiar with PUFFMI as a manufacturer of disposable vapes. I could perhaps be forgiven though as it appears they’ve only been on the scene since 2021.

Based in Shenzen, China they have a firm commitment. To provide the highest quality vaping devices on the market. To back this up they’ve partnered with none other the SMOORE – parent company of VAPORESSO.

PUFFMI encourage a healthier lifestyle and firmly believe their disposables are instrumental in helping folks quit the cigs.

They’re clearly doing something right having already amassed over 30 million customers worldwide.

Could it be over 30 million.. and one? Let’s take a closer look.

What Can We Expect From the PUFFMI TX600 PRO Disposable Vapes?

Well the good news is they’re TPD compliant, containing 2ml of E-liquid with a salt nicotine strength of 20mg.

If you’re lucky enough to have weened yourself off nicotine altogether, they’re also available in 0mg.

The original TX600 disposable was only released around three months ago. That too is TPD compliant and most of the specs have been carried across to the TX600 PRO. This time around we get plenty more flavours and a little less in the way of product branding.

So we still get the 400mAh integrated battery that’s designed to last for anything up to 600 puffs but the 1.2ohm mesh coil may be an upgrade. It’s claimed to heat the E-liquid faster.

We also get the F1 auto draw airflow system designed to create a smoother, obstacle free passage of airflow to the heated coil. So it looks like we can expect improved vapour production despite the TX600 PRO catering towards a MTL (Mouth To Lung) audience.

The PUFFMI TX600 Pro certainly looks the part. At just 15mm cubed it’s very slim, lightweight and most certainly shirt or pocket friendly. The restricted mouthpiece uses the traditional ‘pinched’ shape so often used with disposables.

The mouthpiece and small airflow holes at the base are purposefully designed for a MTL vape.

However, I’m a little confused because the intro video on the official PUFFMI site claims it’s made from layered metal.

Further on they say it’s made of PCTG.

Either way it falls short of being ECO friendly but that’s just my opinion.

Blueberry

PUFFMI Says:

Blueberry creates a distinct tangy berry-flavoured vape with some subtle sweet notes detectable on the aftertaste.

I Say:

The aroma from the mouthpiece actually reminds me of Blackcurrant as opposed to Blueberry but you’re not here for a smell test..

Even during exhale there’s still the merest hint but yes – Blueberry is very much the order of the day. We get the usual candy style vape and I will admit, it’s a little on the dry side.

There’s a pleasant mix between the fruit and a sweetness that contains a bitter edge towards the end of the vape. The sweeter elements will work their way onto the lips too.

Although Blueberry is obviously a simple, straight forward vape, it’s packed with flavour that remains consistent throughout.

The Menthol content is quite strong, so be aware of that. I found it actually stung my throat – not something I’m personally keen on but others will like the sharp edge it brings.

Mango Ice

PUFFMI Says:

The unique and exotic notes of ripe mangoes are combined with a punchy layer of menthol in this fresh all-day vape.

I Say:

Very nice. Very nice indeed! Let me explain. The Menthol builds up during the inhale and you can feel it cooling the throat after a few seconds.

Then a flavour fest is delivered on the way out. This is an excellent version of a fruit that’s so often wrongly implemented. Forget the synthesised, chemical pee like taste, PUFFMI have successfully avoided that.

Phew!

This Mango is refreshing, tasty and above all quite authentic. I’m putting my head of the block by suggesting such tropical appeal but it really does have it all.

It’s a very polished version of the popular fruit. Very fresh, very tasty on the exhale.

The ‘Ice’ part is once again where I come unstuck. It’s far too strong for me and takes an eternity to remove it’s chilling grip from the throat.

But that’s just my opinion. You’re definitely getting what you ask for with Mango Ice.

Passion Fruit

PUFFMI Says:

Passion Fruit is an exotic one-note flavour that authentically captures the sweet taste of this tropical fruit.

I Say:

The flavour description reads as ‘one note’ but I beg to differ.

Passion Fruit is always a hard one to describe and seems to come in many guises. But here I definitely pick out a fresh Grapefruit that’s swiftly backed up with a very tasty Pineapple.

Without a doubt, Passion Fruit is one to put on the list for a decent Summer vape. I find it mouth wateringly pleasant and in it’s own way quite thirst quenching.

Combining these two fruits creates a rich, well rounded and highly consistent flavour experience.

Passion Fruit also lends itself well to the Menthol content which serves to amplify and push  the fruits to the front. It puts itself into the drinks category for me and really hits the spot in doing so.

A quality vape.

Sour Apple

PUFFMI Says:

Sour Apple delivers a tangy-tasting vape that fuses the sweet taste of green apples with a zingy sour candy note.

I Say:

This is a very sweet vape. Expect to notice it more or less as soon as you inhale. The Menthol builds alongside it to manifest as an icy cold blast against the tonsils.

Sour Apple is a very simplistic vape but that’s not to say it’s without flavour because it’s here by the bucket load. To an extent it’s masked by the insane level of sourness – and you’ll notice that throughout the exhale.

The Apple content is very appealing. This is your standard green garden Apple and does include all the juicy acidic qualities of the fruit. It’s a flavour that works very consistently.

Sour Apple is crisp, vibrant, sweet and sour all at the same time.

I’m not having such a hard time with the Menthol this time. For some reason it just adds to the refreshing appeal of the vape.

It’s still a bit of a stinger though.

Tobacco

PUFFMI Says:

The dark, woody notes of tobacco are authentically recreated in this distinct blend.

I Say:

Boom! Not what I was anticipating at all. Tobacco vapes are all too often chemical, synthetic affairs, usually dismissed before the first exhale of cloudage!

I’m pleased to say that’s not the case with Tobacco. Sounds simplistic again though doesn’t it?

Far from it. It bares all the hallmarks of a classic tobacco leaf taste including the aroma. There’s much less sweetness found than say, in hand rolling tobacco but there’s also none of the cringeworthy ash taste commonly associated with cigarettes.

A win win situation and here’s why. It’s combined with what I can only describe as a smooth, diary caramel taste on the exhale. The Tobacco and Caramel are toe to toe, fist to fist. Locked in perfect union.

It’s a great flavour combination and a fab vaping experience. The new vaper will appreciate its familiarity and the seasoned vaper will enjoy the complexity.

Complexity from a disposable. Who ever dreamed of that?

Watermelon Ice

PUFFMI Says:

Watermelon Ice delivers distinct, fresh-tasting notes of watermelons complemented by a chilly menthol kick.

I Say:

Yeah, this one kicks butt! We get a very fresh, juicy Watermelon with every vape.

It carries all the musty authentic qualities of the fruit, combined with copious amounts of sweetness for good measure. On the exhale a few sour back notes drop through and I’d say there’s less of the bitterness commonly associated with Watermelon.

Again we have a simple no nonsense flavour profile which means all the focus of attention is with the fruit, the sweetness and the Menthol.

As with Sour Apple the Menthol plays a large contribution in terms of freshness to the vape. It will chill the throat but doesn’t interfere with the enjoyment of the taste.

In fact, the flavour lingers with Watermelon Ice. You’ll still be tasting its appeal even after the exhale. It sticks to the palate and taste buds in a very satisfying manner.

You get plenty of bang for your buck with this one!

Apple Ice

PUFFMI Says:

The crisp and tangy notes of Green Apples are flawlessly complemented by icy menthol for a refreshing exhale.

I Say:

It feels a little dry on the initial inhale but as soon as the sweetness kicks in things become much more juicy.

And it doesn’t take long for the cooling Menthol properties to join forces, either. They are quite searing but do subside as long as you’re not chain vaping. Like me!

So the Apple is indeed crisp, clean and well defined in this profile and just as I was hoping for.

A mixture of sweet and sour, this is your common green garden variety and combined with the Menthol creates a highly refreshing and tasty vape.

That sweetness will linger, though so be aware of that. It hangs on the tongue long after the vape is finished.

I’d say that if you’ve a sweet tooth and you like Apple vapes?

You’re really going to enjoy this one!

Strawberry Ice

PUFFMI Says:

The instantly recognisable and sweet juicy notes of strawberries are enhanced by icy menthol in this blend.

I Say:

Dead on arrival. The Blue LED reacts but the coil doesn’t.

..It happens.

Pink Lemonade

PUFFMI Says:

 Pink Lemonade delivers a sweet-tasting soda vape, that fuses a medley of sweet red berry flavours with notes of zingy lemonade.

I Say:

I could smell the Lemonade as soon as I ripped open the sealed bag and the aroma was on the synthetic side. But how did it vape?

Not too badly to be quite honest. The sweeter elements aren’t ‘in your face’ during inhale, either so that was a pleasant surprise.

But there’s more than enough on the way out so some may find Pink Lemonade a little sickly. I personally think it’s been slightly overloaded on this occasion and does take away some of the refreshing qualities normally associated with drinks profiles.

There’s a deeper, richer taste attached to the red berries. I attribute that to the medley used in this disposable. It’s difficult for me to pick any particular one out.

They work as a collective whole and Strawberry doesn’t seem to be the usual dominant force. That’s no bad thing and helps separate Pink lemonade from all the others on the market.

As with most drinks based e-liquids, the Menthol adds that little extra in terms of realism.

It’s a very decent vape and one destined for those long, hot Summer months.

Grape Ice

PUFFMI Says:

The tart, dark notes of black grapes are paired with a frosty menthol exhale for a mouth-watering vaping experience.

I Say:

I don’t like Grape based vapes and I make no secret of that.

Grape Ice does nothing to change my mind. It’s just personal preference in the way I mention prior to diving into these reviews. So that’s not to say you won’t like it.

I get the usual chemical, synthetic taste I’ve come to know and loathe from this flavour.

It’s extra sweet too which makes it quite sickly during the exhale. The Menthol content amplifies what’s already a torrid vaping experience for me, and again, I re-iterate.

For me..

The taste of Grape should be subtle and juicy. It’s the opposite here.

Whether you’re into this kind of taste, you’re still going to need a sweet tooth. At least your teeth won’t rot. Ah for the benefits of vaping, eh?

Battery Performance and Number of Puffs

I got seven hours uninterrupted use from the disposable. During this time it constantly delivered on flavour and vapour production. I also didn’t notice any juice welling up into the mouthpiece.

The battery performed well right up to the last vape and that’s why I got a consistent vape. When it did eventually fail I was alerted by the blue LED (on the base) flashing ten times.

Working to my usual vaping patterns of around 72 puffs an hour the PUFFMI TX600 PRO doesn’t quite deliver the suggested tally. I’d say it falls short by around 100 puffs, give or take.

Final Review Verdict

The Menthol content is too much for me. I didn’t like the way it stung the throat and mouth so that did impact on the overall enjoyment of the vape. However, it is in the description and as a consequence isn’t being docked points unfairly.

I couldn’t really knock the TX600 Pro disposable on flavour. Ok, there’s not a great deal of authenticity on offer but the little mesh coil worked it’s socks off to consistently deliver the goods.

PUFFMI are true to their word because I did notice a lot of vapour for a MTL vape. It starts out quite thick but soon dissipates so don’t rule out a few ‘bus stop’ moments of stealth vaping.

As for the MTL vape experience itself. It’s good. You can expect a very smooth and comfortable inhale. It’s not so tight that it gives the neck muscles a work out and not too loose to lose any of the flavour quality.

It’s a disposable designed for the masses. The new, casual and even the experienced (and often lazy) vaper.

Yes! I do fall into that last category!
