Today I’m taking a look at the Puffmi MeshBox Mini disposables.
..I’m thinking I may just need a magnifying glass! lol
October was quite a busy month for Shenzhen based Puffmi. They were in attendance at the Birmingham Vape Expo as well as the one in Paris. Pretty good going and proof of their commitment to our beloved industry.
Puffmi only arrived on the scene last year and they’re already making an impression.
With a solid partnership with SMOORE (parent company of Vaporesso), Puffmi lead with innovation, enthusiasm and dedication to the disposable vape market.
They’ve gone all interactive too with their website. Encouraging vapers to send in photos of themselves using their disposables. I like it. Its good marketing and it makes sense.
So we’ve already taken a gander at the Puffmi TX600 Pro disposable. From that I established intense flavour and ice cold biting Menthol properties.
What will the Puffmi MeshBox Mini offer us? Let’s find out.
What Can We Expect From the Puffmi MeshBox Mini Disposable Vape?
It’s good news for us in the UK and EU regions – the MeshBox Mini is TPD compliant.
It contains 2ml of E-liquid with salt nicotine strengths of 20mg. Ideal for those weening themselves off cigarettes because the draw will be smooth with minimal throat hit.
Salt nicotine is also absorbed much quicker. A great way to instantly stave off those cravings.
The Puffmi MeshBox Mini uses the same F1 unimpeded airflow arrangement of the TX600.
With a more direct passage of airflow to the mouthpiece, flavour and vapour quality is said to be optimised. I think it’s going to be helped along by the employment of the ECO mesh coil too.
So the mesh coil is powered by an integrated (non rechargeable) 550mAh battery designed to hold out for anything up to 600 puffs.
As far as TPD regulated disposables go it’s all pretty standard fare.
Except when it comes to size..
Measuring a mere 58.5 x 35mm they’re by far the dinkiest disposables I’ve come across to date.
I can see where they get their name from but these are even smaller than a box of matches if memory serves!
Does this make them awkward to hold.
Not at all – very comfortable in fact and fantastic to conceal for a cheeky stealth vape or six.
There’s already a choice of 40 flavours to pick from and they include drinks, tobacco, fruit, dessert and mint profiles. Something for everyone, methinks.

I’d like to offer my gratitude to Vape Club for sending these over for the purpose of review. It’s very much appreciated.
Blue Razz Lemonade
Puffmi Says:
Blue Razz Lemonade pairs together two distinct flavours to create a tangy vape. The zesty flavour of Lemonade is expertly blended with the bold taste of Blue Raspberries.
I Say:
Blue Razz Lemonade is absolutely bursting with flavour!
And Menthol.
It doesn’t take long for the sweetness of the vape to arrive with hints during the inhale then an explosion on the way out.
It’s a very clever merging of two fruits that are both zingy and boisterous. I find it quite hard to separate them but that’s because they’re presented in equal measure.
The sweetness does make the Lemonade content a bit artificial but the candy style Raspberry takes the edge off slightly.
This is more of a sweets based flavour with the Menthol rating around 6/10 on my Sting-O-meter.
Mint Ice
Puffmi Says:
Mint Ice is an arctic fusion of sweet and cold notes. A punchy layer of ice Menthol is combined with the sweetness of fresh-tasting Mint.
I Say:
At least ice is mentioned in the title. Ironic as it sounds I don’t think there’s enough this time! It does still work fine because it provides a nice refreshing layer over the top of the mint.
This is more leaning towards a Peppermint flavour but also reminds me of the organic, leafy variety at times.
There’s plenty of flavour on offer too. It’s quite strong and the sweeter elements of the vape are more exposed towards the end of the exhale.
So the combination of Menthol, Mint and sweetness do combine together rather favourably.
You know you’ve vaped this one for quite a while after finishing.
If you suffer from bad breath, have a sinker of a cold or just need a palate cleanser, Mint Ice is the one for you!
Peach Ice
Puffmi Says:
Peach Ice blends the sweet juicy flavour of sun-ripened Peaches with an arctic kick of ice Menthol in this summer vape.
I Say:
A simple, straight forwards flavour profile. The Peach is relatively natural tasting and you get the experience of biting down onto its flesh.
However alongside this there’s a bit of an unnatural dryness to the exhale which never lets up. That’s despite a decent level of sweetness.
The sweetness gets its chance more towards the end of the vape but never manages to create that sugar lips experience. Because the vape is quite dry I didn’t notice any of the juiciness generally associated with this versatile dessert fruit.
So Peach Ice is something of an oddity to me. It’s lacking the tartness I would expect too.
Menthol works very well with though and does ensure it’ll be a worthwhile enough Summer vape.
Definitely a mainstream, instantly accessible disposable vape.
Pineapple Peach Mango
Puffmi Says:
Pineapple Peach Mango is a fusion of tropical fruit flavours. The sweet notes of Peach are balanced with the juicy taste of Mango and Pineapple.
I Say:
I can’t say I cared much for the aroma from this one having broken it free from the vacuum sealed bag.
These disposables come with sticker statements in the cartons. This one reads ‘enjoy the experience’.
Did I?
No. It didn’t get any better for me, unfortunately. The Pineapple fuses with Mango and the resulting flavour is bleurgh.. It reminds me of something I can’t actually print here!
It could even be the Peach that’s causing my nausea. There’s a messy mixture of fruits combining with a sweet after taste that I simply cannot stomach.
I’ve given it as much thought as I’m able without retching but please do remember that taste is subjective.
I just found it far too artificial and synthetic tasting to enjoy as a fruit based profile.
Strawberry Ice Cream
Puffmi Says:
Strawberry Ice Cream is a classic dessert flavour that blends the sweet taste of Strawberries with decadent notes of Ice Cream and an icy finish.
I Say:
Puffmi’s interpretation of this seasonal dessert is pretty much the same as all other disposables in terms of replication.
The creaminess is the driving force even though it has a semi stagnant after taste. It’s borderline Condensed Milk in all honesty and won’t remind you of Ice Cream.
But it’s not unpleasant and the Strawberry comes through consistently enough. This version of the fruit is clearly man made, taking away its inherent juicy sweetness.
The cooling effect of Menthol is ok but I could’ve done without it searing the rear of the throat. It’s no substitute for a chilling gulp of Ice Cream, put it that way.
Overall Strawberry Ice is a very generic, common take on the flavour profile. So if you’re not too fussy it’ll get the job done.
Tobacco
Puffmi Says:
Tobacco layers together sweet nutty notes with a subtle smoky layer, authentically recreating the instantly recognisable flavour of rolling tobacco.
I Say:
A very dry vaping experience. Dry tobacco leaves, if you like. To be honest they don’t even have any true taste, aroma or character either.
I will attest there are a few nutty tones thrown in but I’ve never attributed those to hand rolling tobacco. It’s not a Virginian or sweet leaf variety because it lacks those kind of qualities.
I’d be more inclined to suggest a cigar of sorts – without the harshness or heat of the inhale.
Tobacco is, as the description states rather subtle then. But not only that, what flavour there is, is swiftly evaporated by its drier qualities during exhale.
So it’s ok but I’m not sure anyone familiar with hand rolling tobacco is going to ‘get’ this one.
Battery performance and Number of Puffs
Don’t be fooled by the matchbox size! This little disposable is an absolute power house when it comes to performance. I managed an unbelievable 10 hours continuous use.
I managed seven hours in one sitting and expected to wake up the following morning to a few puffs before shut down but no. It continued to perform consistently well for another three.
The flavour remained punchy and lively throughout the life span of the battery. So the balance between E-liquid volume and longevity is spot on.
If my vaping calculations are correct you’ll easy get 600 puffs and possible a few bonus ones into the bargain.
Fantastic!
Final Review Verdict
The mouth to lung restriction on these disposables is second to none. It’s comfortable enough to take protracted inhales without causing the cheeks to collapse inwardly.
The inhale is smooth and quiet and the exhale is bursting with flavour notes. Admittedly not all appealed to me personally but you do get great consistency with every vape.
The sweetness values can be a little high and Menthol crops up even where omitted from the flavour titles but that’s kind of becoming the norm now.
I just wish it wasn’t included because it may come as an unwelcome addition for some folks.
Vapour production is stealthy and won’t cause a riot at the local bus stop, as an example.
I thought the battery performance outweighed flavour quality with the Puffmi MeshBox Mini. It’s not often I write that but this little fella is an absolute power house and will easily last for 600 puffs. Or more.
