The Oumier Bulk RTA has been designed and manufactured by Oumier, in collaboration with popular Youtube vape reviewer, Vap’nFagan.
Shenzhen Oumier has been in the business for 6 years and they’ve focused, save about 3 items in their inventory, solely on rebuildable tanks, RTAs RDTAs and RDAs.
Among their greatest successes is the Wasp range of rebuildables…of which I own the Wasp Nano RTA and the Wasp Nano RTDA.
I also reviewed the Armadillo RDA recently, an excellent atomizer.
Of the Oumier gear I’ve tried, flavour has been at the forefront, with vapour production and cool looks not far behind.
What Can We Expect From The Bulk RTA by Oumier?
This insane monster of an RTA is officially the biggest RTA in my collection coming in at a girthy 28mm diameter. Sitting inside we have a dual coil deck and a 5ml juice capacity. I’m super chuffed to be reviewing it for you today!
I’m expecting big things from the Oumier Bulk RTA. Especially given the fact that it’s a collaboration project with a knowledgeable and respected reviewer of vape gear who’s unlikely to put his name on an RTA that isn’t 100% the business.
This device was sent for the purposes of review (thanks to Ave40). As always, our views are our own.

Design and Build Quality
Looking through the little window in the neat black and white, Oumier box, I can see right off the bat that this RTA lives up to its name. It’s freaking massive.
The first thing I do is dig into my collection to try and find a vape mod that can accommodate the Bulk’s 28mm diameter…not an easy ask but I eventually found one, phew!
The SS Bulk RTA consists of a well machined base, with an adjustable airflow ring with four cut out blocks surrounding it by way of knurling and no less than THREE 1cm by 2mm Cyclops style airflow slots around its circumference.
Two Fixed SS ‘rings’ are visible above and below the airflow ring, which slides easily back and forth for you to adjust what must be a MONSTROUS airflow.
Above that is the tank section, which has an impressive 5ml juice capacity. The chimney/ inner chamber cap is visible through the humongous bulb glass, with a huge BULK brand on one side of it.
Above the tank I see the biggest o-ring, with a thin SS ring visible above that and then a thin, gently tapering top cap above that, with fine, textured sides which double as knurling and a decorative feature.
A removable black, delrin 810 wide bore tops it off nicely. This drip tip is very wide, as it opens out toward the top, so luckily a regular 810 has been included.
The tank breaks down easily, except for the monster o-ring at the top of the glass, which makes it pretty much impossible to remove the glass from the chimney, without risking damage to the glass itself.
I just left those components together when I took my pics, as I didn’t wanna break that lovely bulb glass.
The build deck is quite magnificent, it fits two beefy coils, with their leads placed into the posts at an outward angle and 4 airflow holes right under the coils, 2 slots for each coil.
4 Deep threaded Allen key screws are visible on each of the posts, they sit at an angle, facing outward. This means they are very accessible and the screws come down neat and straight onto those leads.
The deck is raised from the base of the tank and there is a large but single wicking port either side the deck platform.
I really like the airflow placement…I see flavour in my future.
Top Fill
The top cap twists off easily to reveal 2 fittingly vast fill ports.
Really good threading on the top cap and tank, with no trouble accessing those ports, no matter how thick your bottle’s nozzle is.
How Does The Oumier Bulk RTA Perform?
Long story short, the bulk is just a pleasure to vape.
It’s a treat to have such a large capacity, although the included coils are big juice guzzlers. The vapour production is so huge that you will still be filing twice or thrice a day, if you’re a really heavy vaper like me.
If you’re not such a chain vaper, you will notice that extra capacity for sure.
This RTA is all about flavour and monstrous clouds. That airflow is so smooth and so well positioned, it’s just outstanding.
Airlfow
Airflow adjustment is easy and will give you anything from an open, but not too open, airflow to a highly restricted, warm vape.
I’m actually surprised about the airflow, as I thought its might be too open when set full but I didn’t experience that and actually enjoyed the vapour quality.
Leaks
I’ve filled this tank and vaped out about 18 tanks during this review and on one single occasion, for some reason, half my juice bled out through the airflow just after I had filled it.
I can’t explain why this happened only once but it never happened again and I have experienced no leakage otherwise.
It’s important to understand that this tank is just going to look weird on smaller box mods.
It will over hang considerably on your average sized, dual 18650 device so just make sure you’ve got a bulky enough setup to match the BULK before you buy.
It’s sheer size and the easy break down and build on this RTA, combined with phenomenal flavour, vapour production and juice capacity make it a real winner for me and this is definitely on of the best RTAs I’ve used to date, no question.
Building
While I found the build easy, it does have a trick to it…
I like to bend the coils so that they are slightly raised and very close to the posts, otherwise I feel the coils sit too close together and a little softening might make them touch.
Another trick is that the you need well thinned down wicks from both coils to fit through the single wick cut out on either side.
It also helps to pre juice them, otherwise they get in the way of the threading when you screw the chimney back on to the deck.
I find the pre-installed drip tip very wide and unladylike…so I’ve taken to using the extra drip tip instead, which is a normal 810 size.
Coilology Fused Clapton Coils
The included fused Clapton’s clocked in at 0.17 ohm when I installed them, and they are now at 0.18 Ohm, after over a week of heavy vaping.
Very nice, high quality coils that provide sick flavour and phenomenal cloud. I like to vape them at 80W but I took them up to 100W with no trouble.
With these coils, the Bulk RTA produces cloud and flavour that live up to its name.
Pros
- Over the top big, looks awesome on a beefy mod, with great juice capacity
- Easy breakdown and build
- Good machining on all parts
- Smooth airflow
- Outstanding flavour
- Awesome vapour production
Cons
- The preinstalled drip tip will be too large for some
- The wicking ports are a bit too small for two solid wicks
- Difficult to separate the glass from the chimney at the top, as the o-ring has it so well sealed
Final Review Verdict
The Oumier Bulk RTA is an outstanding tank with beautiful flavour and a massive vapour production.
This tank has one of the nicest, smoothest and most delicious airflow’s I’ve come across on an RTA and for that, I highly recommend it.
Whether you are a new builder or an experienced vaper, as long as you’ve got a big mod to put its bad-ass on, I think the Bulk RTA will make you a very happy vaper.

my bulk rta jumping ohm kinda need help
If you have a difficult time finding a mod to accommodate a 28mm rta then you should reconsider your position as a reviewer. I am what you would call a newb (3 year vaper) even I own Releaux.
Of course it is waiting moderation. I expect it will be elimitaded.
Are you sure you’re old enough to vape Richard?
