Today I’ve got my greasy mitts on the Ohm Brew Double Brew 10ml E-liquid range.
Ohm Brew are an E-liquid manufacturer based in Dundonald in Belfast and they have a clear mission.
Their goal is to deliver high quality products without compromise. By adopting a streamlined and efficient approach to manufacturing using the best practices and raw ingredients, they understand that quality meets value.
There’s no team better suited either since every member is an ex-smoker with savvy knowledge of vaping and the vaping industry itself.
I have to give a special mention to their website. It’s user friendly, interactive and wonderfully informative.
“We know that trying to make the switch can feel like being stuck at sea”
These sea faring references are used throughout the site and culminate with the reassuring message of being “brought back ‘ohm” by the power of their E-liquid range.
All created in house, at their base in Belfast.
I dig it.
So Ohm Brew also manufacture 50ml and 100ml short fill ranges, disposable vapes and nicotine shots. They’ve also teamed up with leading vape brands such as Innokin and JustFog to provide a simple all in one solution.
With an extensive range of flavours on offer there’s bound to be something to suit the taste buds.
Very much in keeping with their philosophy of being everything, for everyone.
How does the Double Brew 10ml range taste? Let’s find out.
.. Ahoy, there! Is that an E-liquid review I see on the horizon?
What Can We Expect From the 10ml Double Brew Range of E-liquids?
With a liquid ratio of 50VG/50PG and with various salt nicotine strengths available, the Double Brew range is ideally suited to the new or casual vaper.
Expect to use them in lower powered MTL (Mouth To Lung) vape devices such as the Uwell Caliburn G2 Pod kit or the Innokin T18-II vape pen.
So the range is available in 10ml bottles with a choice of 5mg, 10mg or 20mg salt nicotine already included.
If you’re a casual smoker of less than ten a day opt for a 5mg salt nicotine strength. For those on a pack a day, 10mg will be ideal and if you’re more of a chain smoker, seriously consider 20mg.
They’re known as Double Brew for a reason. For the use of double concentrated nic salt, which means more room for the flavour. Expect a bold and intense taste, similar to that of disposable vapes.
Flavour categories range from classic drinks, sweets and fruits. All helped along with a virtual ice cube or two.

Before I take a look at the range I’d like to thank Vape Club for sending these over for the purposes of review. It’s very much appreciated.
Ok, I’m going to be using the Vaporesso XROS 3 mini pod kit with 1.0ohm mesh pods. As a MTL vape, it’s an ideal candidate for the range.
Please remember that taste is subjective and prone to throwing up a few differences from device to device.
Candy Cherry Ice
Ohm Brew Says:
Our spin on the classic glazed Cherry sweets has now been enhanced with an added lick of ICE to give you that perfect frozen Cherry taste.
I Say:
I certainly get the full impact of the Cherry on first exhale and for certain it’s not your freshly picked variety.
Think of those brittle chalky, candy sweets such as Love Hearts (If you’re old enough!) and you’re getting the vape picture.
As a consequence it’s quite a dry tasting vape that’s lacking in the sweetness department. But that doesn’t take away from the flavour quality. It’s top notch and it’s consistent.
The Koolada has been pitched just right and does ramp up the icy cold nature of the vape. The blending of artificial fruit and ice actually works a treat.
I’m not used to experiencing flavour mixing of this kind and I must say Ohm Brew have done a great job. Why?
Because you’re getting exactly what you’ve shelled out for.
Fizzy Cola Ice
Ohm Brew Says:
Fizzy Cola is our take on the classic sweet shop treat which is now available in our new enhanced formula. We then mixed in some ice to give you an extra icy exhale.
I Say:
Yes. This is Ohm Brews take on Cola and not one for the better, in my opinion. I’m just being subjective when I say it’s lacking something. It’s hard to actually pinpoint just what but the general taste experience isn’t as appealing as I’d hoped.
Maybe there’s a little too much Lime, maybe too little Cinnamon. More importantly, maybe I’m expecting that classic taste of an age old recipe.
At the same time Fizzy Cola Ice isn’t over concentrated or syrup like in the way other manufacturers portray it.
It’s a shame I’m not keen on the overall taste because the fizzy element is on point. What’s more it’s consistent throughout exhale. It appears as more of a texture and enhanced by the use of Koolada.
As Ohm Brew state – it’s their take on a popular fizzy beverage. Full marks for producing something unique.
It just doesn’t quite work for these particular taste buds.
Watermelon Ice
Ohm Brew Says:
Our sweet and juicy Watermelon flavour gives you a tropical hit with a splash of cool ice. Watermelon Ice is both incredibly refreshing and sweet.
I Say:
I don’t think there’s much sweetness to this vape at all. Having said that, Watermelon Ice does provide a nice smooth inhale.
And I could be wrong but I’m sure Menthol has been used instead of Koolada. It certainly tastes like menthol and responsible for the majority of the flavour experience.
So because I experience much less in terms of sweetness I’m find the exhale somewhat dry. This Watermelon is lacking the juicier, tastier qualities I usually expect.
To be completely honest it’s quite flat and wishy washy. That’s surprising given the additional concentrate Ohm Brew are using.
I’m inclined to say this is Ohm Brews take on the popular Summer fruit and it’s sure to have its fair share of admirers.
I didn’t find myself warming to it over the course of vaping the bottle, unfortunately.
Strawberry Ice
Ohm Brew Says:
This ripe tasting Strawberry flavour is now juicier and sweeter than before with an added ice hint, let us take you back to summer with this perfect all day vape!
I Say:
There’s certainly plenty of ice to shift this one along and it hits hard from the opening inhale.
Just like Fizzy Cola Ice, Ohm Brew have introduced their own take on a Strawberry profile and again doesn’t quite work with my own particular taste buds.
It carries the appropriate amount of sweetness and to a degree some tart like qualities but the actual flavour of Strawberry seems quite muddled and messy.
It’s as far removed from a natural tasting fruit as things get.
It’s almost like traveling back in time when flavour mixing was very experimental. That may very well be a conscious effort on Ohm Brew’s part. For me it’s like taking a step back in terms of expectation, be it artificial or otherwise.
Strawberry Ice is a mix between a sweet influenced Strawberry and something that’s quite synthetic tasting.
It’s not for me, I’m afraid.
Pink Lemonade
Ohm Brew Says:
A deliciously sweet Pink Lemonade flavour. Have it all with the tangy sweetness of a fresh cool glass of Lemonade fizzing over a bed of Strawberries and Raspberries.
I Say:
Light, refreshing and packed full of flavour. That’s Pink Lemonade.
It’s quite an intense flavour too so that’ll be the Double Brew effect, then.
The inhale gives rise to a soothing throat chill and Koolada levels work perfectly with this drinks inspired creation.
The Lemonade tastes fresh, tangy and mouth watering with its additional fizz for added kick. Although very artificial in output, the Strawberries are much better than those found in Strawberry Ice.
They’ve a candy style taste and laden with sweetness which complements and blends well with the juicier qualities of the Lemonade.
Pink Lemonade is a very pleasant, smooth tasting vape crammed full of flavour.
There’s more than enough going on to keep my interest levels piqued.
Kiwi Passionfruit Guava
Ohm Brew Says:
A delicious tropical blend. Combined sweetness of Kiwis with tangy Passionfruit and tart Guava that produces a mouth watering medley that will tingle the taste buds after every puff.
I Say:
Very tasty, very tropical and above all very flavoursome.
The fruits on show all have a natural, ripe vibe going on and the sweetness levels bring out the juicy qualities of the vape.
The Kiwi and Guava are particularly well presented complete with their tart like sub notes.
There’s also a slightly rough edge to the exhale, helping to bring added texture and the merest hint of a throat hit. Something I really like.
Of course we have the mandatory addition of Koolada, lifting the vape into drinks based territory.
So Kiwi Passionfruit Guava is light and refreshing and a worthy vape companion for any month of the year.
Blue Slush Ice
Ohm Brew Says:
We have taken our bestselling Ohm Brew flavour and made it 2x better! A Blueberry and Raspberry combo with that extra ICE boost which will leave your taste buds frozen with flavour!
I Say:
A fruity fusion if ever there was one!
That icy inhale kicks in hard from the get go and sets the tone for this chilling vape.
A cascade of flavour spills from the exhale and it’s a distinct morphing of Blueberry into Raspberry – and back again.
This is demonstrated with longer inhales. The two fruits seem to hold together then fall apart in quite an effective fashion. Interlaced between is a delightful spoonful of sweetness.
Raspberry carries the richer tones of the vape and Blueberry created the smooth exhale.
So overall this is most definitely your classic drinks profile complete with the obligatory syrup like back note or two.
A flavour to cool the most fevered of brows, methinks.
Blue Razz Lemonade
Ohm Brew Says:
A dash of ice-cold Lemonade completes the amazing Blue Raspberry taste. The perfect combination of sweet flavours delivers this juice that is simply bursting with flavour.
I Say:
A nice mix of Raspberry and Lemonade complemented by an icy cold blast during inhale.
On this occasion I would say that the Koolada is slightly over pronounced. That’s because it leaves such a lasting impression around the ‘ole tonsils.
But that’s likely to appeal to hardcore fans of ice cold vapes so if you’re one of them, don’t let my personal observations sway you.
The combination of Raspberry and Lemonade works very well indeed and both do a grand job in representing a cold, flavoursome Summer beverage.
It’s not too intense a flavour either so the dilution ratios also reflect what to expect from Pink Lemonade.
Sweetness levels are on par and have more of a natural quality instead of taking over in the way many disposable vapes do.
I give full credit to Ohm Brew for a finely crafted E-liquid flavour. Overall blending is nigh on perfect.
Final Review Verdict
It’s all about personal opinion, isn’t it. Our individual perceptions of what a flavour should taste like. What I’ve learnt from reviewing the Double Brew range is that just now and again, a manufacturer is capable of catching us off guard.
And it’s a brave thing to do, especially with common fruits such as those used here.
I didn’t like a few of them. That’s simply because I wasn’t fond of Ohm Brews interpretation of Strawberry, Watermelon or Cola.
Others are bound to disagree.
The biggest lesson learnt is that there are still manufacturers out there prepared to reboot even the simplest of profiles. That can only be a good thing.
So in terms of flavour concentration. I think they fall somewhere in between those found in disposable form and standard 10ml bottles. I never once experienced the same intensity of say, an Elf Bar.
Neither do I believe that’s Ohm Brews intention. Although some fruits tasted a little on the dry side none in the range were lacking in flavour.
And that flavour was consistent from first inhale to last exhale.
If you’re new to vaping, consider trying the Double Brew range. There’s an effective selection of flavours here specifically designed to help you break that smoking habit.
