Next up in the Nixer x series of e-liquid reviews is the Nixer x Mix Labs range! Thanks to Vape Club we’ve got the full range in for this review!

nixer x mix labs e-liquid review

Nixer have teamed up with some of the biggest e-liquid brands on the UK vaping scene. Collaborating with huge names such as Wick Liquor, Jack Rabbit and Unreal. We will be reviewing the full range of the Nixer X collaborations over the coming weeks!

We took a look at the original range of Nixer longfills not all that long ago. Plus most recently we’ve also reviewed the Nixer x Wick Liquor and Nixer x Yeti longfills, both of which feature some of the best-selling e-liquids from both brands.

The Nixer range of longfills and mixing kits is produced by UK based Dispergo Vaping. They were founded in 2019 off the back of the runaway success of the Jack Rabbit Desserts range.

All of Dispergo Vaping’s e-liquids are manufactured to the highest standards in Oxfordshire. They use fully TPD compliant ingredients and they pride themselves on creativity, independence and uniqueness.

What Can We Expect From Nixer x Mix Labs E-Liquid?

What you have here is a collaboration between Nixer and Mix Labs with five different Mix Labs e-liquid flavours available as longfills for use with a Nixer mixing kit. And thanks to Vape Club, we’ve got all five in for review along with a selection of 10mg nic salt and 10mg nic salt ice mixer kits!

Mix Labs are well known for offering a huge range of disposable inspired e-liquid. They have partnered up with Nixer to offer five of their most popular flavours as part of the Nixer x Mix Labs range of longfills.

Each Nixer x e-liquid comes as a 60ml longfill bottle, featuring 30ml of nicotine-free flavour concentrate suspended in PG. The remaining 30ml of space is designed for a Nixer mixing kit to be added in order to vape to your desired strength.

By using one of the mixer kits, the ratio can increase to 70/30 VG/PG if using a freebase nicotine kit or 50/50 VG/PG if using a nicotine salt based one. Nixer handily offer their own Nixer mixer kits and you can customise your flavours by ‘icing’ them up with the Ice mixer kit.

nixer strengths

The Nixer mixing kits are available in 5mg or 10mg nicotine salt strength, but you have also got the option of an iced version too if you like a chill to your e-liquids. Freebase nicotine vapers are also catered to with the 3mg and 6mg Nixer mixing kit options.

You have the freedom to add any of these mixing kits to any of the flavours available in the range!

You do need to add a mixing kit before vaping one of these longfills, as without one this is just essentially 30ml of flavour concentrate suspended in PG, which won’t be very nice at all to vape. Think drinking undiluted squash, but in vape form!

Before I start this review, I must mention that as with any e-liquid, taste is subjective. In my review I will write up my own thoughts on my experiences with each e-liquid.

Your experience may differ, as people have differing palates, preferences on taste and different vaping set ups which can offer a totally different flavour experience.

How To Use Nixer X Mix Labs Longfills

If you have experience with shortfills before, this will be an absolute breeze! Pop the top off the longfill bottle then add in all of the bottles from your Nixer mixing kit. Give the bottle a shake for a minute and hey presto – you’ve got 60ml of e-liquid ready to vape to your desired nicotine strength!

This is as easy as mixing e-liquid gets, just grab your longfill, pour your mixing kit in, shake and go!

Mad Blue

nixer mix labs mad blue

They say

Mad Blue longfill e-liquid by Nixer x Mix Labs features sweet notes of blueberry that combines with tart-tasting raspberry to create a layered flavour that is both tangy and juicy.

We say

I figured I would start off by adding one of the regular Nixer mixing kits with this one, so no ‘Iced’ effect here!

These are disposable styled flavours, which means plenty of strong flavouring. But sometimes too much can be a bad thing.

I felt the flavouring here was just too strong. It felt like I was getting walloped with blueberry and raspberry flavours which left quite a sharp and nasty taste in my mouth. There’s an awful lot of sweetener present here too which I don’t think is necessary.

Plus, too much flavouring can make e-liquids taste very artificial and that is exactly what happened here for me.

Peach Ice

nixer mix labs peach ice

They say

Peach Ice longfill e-liquid by Nixer x Mix Labs is a chilled one-fruit blend. The soft taste of sweet peach is given a cool exhale by ice.

We say

I saw this was an ‘Ice’ flavour, so I just had to do the right thing and crank that up with a Nixer Ice mixer kit!

This really does amp up the iced effect, far beyond what you can get from a disposable vape. I get a real chill here from this, anymore and I would be in danger of entering brain freeze territory!

The peach flavouring is pretty impressive. This captures the fuzzy peach notes and juicy interior of a peach pretty well. And being a disposable styled flavour, the flavouring is turned right up to 11 so there’s plenty of it to enjoy!

Cola

nixer mix labs cola

They say

Cola longfill e-liquid by Nixer x Mix Labs delivers a fusion of fizzy and sweet notes which are influenced by the popular soft drink, and blend together to create a well-balanced and recognisable taste.

We say

When I spotted a cola flavour amongst the range I just had to throw in an Ice Nixer mixing kit with this! I am very partial to a cola ice flavour, especially when it comes to a disposable vape. So, I wanted to see how this would compare!

I must say that Mix Labs have done a pretty good job with the cola flavouring here. There’s nothing fancy about it and certainly there isn’t loads of depth to it either. But it is a simple cola flavour that just does the job and hits the right notes. I’d say it’s more like a cola sweet flavour.

It’s lacking a bit of fizz. But adding the Iced kit does help add a bit more authenticity to it, making it taste a bit like a cold glass of flat cola. I did enjoy puffing away on it though!

Watermelon Ice

nixer mix labs watermelon ice

They say

Watermelon Ice longfill e-liquid by Nixer x Mix Labs is a simple fruit blend with a frosty twist. The sweet and juicy notes of watermelon run throughout this blend, with ice adding a cool finish.

We say

I chucked in one of the regular Nixer mixer kits with this one, just to see how strong the cooling effect is as standard.

I must say it’s still pretty nippy even without an Iced mixer kit. There’s a pretty hefty chill to this e-liquid just as it is, with a nice cooling breeze sweeping in almost from the get go.

Quite a satisfying one too, it definitely nipped at the back of my throat.

As for the watermelon flavouring…well it actually wasn’t too bad! It isn’t quite as harsh or chemical tasting as some of the other disposable styled or bar salt watermelon ice flavours you can get. It’s quite juicy and watery, but I can still tell that it is an artificial watermelon flavour.

I can still take it or leave it though with me not being the biggest fan of watermelon flavouring!

Mango Ice

nixer mix labs mango ice

They say

Mango Ice longfill e-liquid by Nixer x Mix Labs delivers the taste of the tropics with a cool finish. Sweet notes of mango bring a juicy taste before a chilled ice sets in.

We say

Oooh yes, this one hits the spot!

Absolutely bursting with juicy mango flavouring and it’s a bit more than what you would get from your average Mango Ice disposable.

You get more elements of the actual fruit flavouring itself, which tastes like actual ripe mango to me. The sweetness feels like it has been cranked right up to the max.

Of course, I had to mix this one up with a Nixer Ice kit for the extra chill, giving it the feel of a very frosty Malaysian styled e-liquid! Just how I like my Mango Ice e-liquids to taste!

Final Review Verdict

These are termed as ‘Disposable Inspired’ longfills. Make no mistake about it, these are very much in the vein of the full flavoured, punchy flavour blend that you get from a disposable. That also means you’ll get a very sweet vape too!

So, if you have just switched from disposables to a refillable pod system and are craving that strong, in-your-face disposable flavour experience, then you will definitely find that these will hit the spot for you!

And they are a great option to consider when you compare them to a disposable. There’s 60ml worth of vaping here for the price of two to three disposable vapes. Which will save you an awful lot of money in the long run.

Many thanks to Vape Club for sending the Nixer x Mix Labs range in. These can be purchased from their website for £9.99 per bottle, with the mixer kits available for £2.99!

They are also offering a range of multibuy deals on these too! With two available for £15 for two bottles and two full Nixer Mixer Kits for £20… go grab yourself a bargain!

Vaping full time since 2012, started on cigalikes for a while then curiosity got the better of me and I moved onto an vape pens, a month or two later I was seeing people walking around with these interesting shiny tubes and I thought 'I gotta get one of those'. Before I knew it a trip down to my local B&M got me my first VW mod, an Innokin SVD, paired with an iClear 30, and I was hooked. Soon after that I was jumping to VW mods both box and tube shaped, before I then made the jump to rebuilding and thus sub ohming, with my first RDA and mech mod. These days I've come back to convenience and mainly use pods, disposables and the VOOPOO Drag H40. Most importantly I am still loving vaping!
