Nixer have just released new options for their freebase nicotine mixing kit range, the Nixer Freebase 5050 Mixer Kit. This gives you the option of mixing your longfill e-liquids to a 50/50 VG/PG ratio. Plus there are 0mg, 5mg, 6mg and 9mg versions – perfect for use in a low power pod kit or MTL device!
These join Nixer’s existing range of mixing kits, to cover pretty much every base when it comes to mixing your longfill e-liquids. Alongside the Freebase 50/50 kits, you can also grab their standard freebase range which gives you a 70/30 VG/PG blend for sub ohm direct to lung vaping. Plus the Nic Salt mixer kits which offer a 50/50 blend and use nicotine salts.
You can also grab an Ice Nic Salt kit too if you want to add or amplify a chill in your longfill!
We’ve taken a look at quite a few of the Dispergo Nixer longfill ranges already over the past few months which were produced in collaboration with some of the largest e-liquid brands. So if you want an idea of what longfills you could use these kits with, then check out our reviews on the Nixer x Baa Juice, Nixer x Ice Breaker, Nixer x Mix Labs, Nixer x Rabbit, Nixer x Seriously, Nixer x Unreal, Nixer x Wick Liquor and Nixer x Yeti ranges!
What Can We Expect From Nixer Freebase 5050 Kits?
Nixer Freebase 5050 Kits are produced by Dispergo Vaping, who are one of the largest e-liquid producers in the UK. Dispergo pride themselves on only using top quality, TPD-compliant ingredients in their products.
That means with the Nixer Freebase 5050 Kits, you get pharmaceutical grade, clean nicotine, VG and PG in your kit.
You get all that you need to mix up your own 50/50 blends using a longfill e-liquid. Simply add your mixing kit and give it a shake to make up some ready to vape e-liquid!
A longfill e-liquid is basically a bottle of flavour concentrate which you add the nicotine mixer kit to. This creates 60ml of e-liquid.
As these are higher nicotine 50/50 blends, they are more suited to vaping in mouth to lung devices, such as pod systems. They may be too thin (causing leaks) or with the higher PG ratio may be too harsh in higher power equipment.
The strength choice you are offered of 0mg, 3mg, 5mg and 9mg refer to the finished e-liquid.

Packaging
Inside the box you get three 10ml bottles, which will be made up of:
• 0mg- three zero nicotine 50/50 shots
• 3mg- two zero nicotine and one 18mg nicotine shot
• 6mg- one zero nicotine and two 18mg nicotine shots
• 9mg- three 18mg nicotine shots
On the packaging itself, you can find clear instructions on how to use your Nixer Freebase 5050 Kit. As well as nicotine warnings, ingredients, contact details for the manufacturer and a batch number for traceability and a best before date.
How To Use The Nixer Freebase 5050 Mixing Kits
Longfill e-liquids tend to be 30ml of pure PG based flavour concentrate inside a 60ml bottle. These need to be mixed with VG, PG and nicotine beforehand, you really don’t want to vape pure concentrate as it is pretty nasty!
Nixer Freebase 5050 Mixing Kits make this process easy. Instead of measuring out your own PG, VG and nicotine, you simply select your desired nicotine strength from their range. Chuck the three bottles from the kit into your longfill bottle, give it a shake and bam, you’ve got 60ml of ready-to-vape e-liquid in mere minutes!
These aren’t just restricted for use with Nixer longfill e-liquids, as you can use these with other longfills on the market such as the Riot Bar EDTN range. And of course, if you like to experiment with using your own flavourings and DIY’ing your own e-liquid at home, you can use these kits too.
Performance
Although these days my preference is for nicotine salt in my blends, I’ll still opt for freebase nicotine when I want some throat hit with a certain flavour, such as when I am vaping tobaccos for example.
These do the job perfectly when it comes to that. I have mixed these up with some of my longfills, used them in a pod system and got some really satisfying throat hits when puffing away. The 6mg and 9mg strengths definitely have the advantage over nicotine salt when it comes to throat hit and I get a good nicotine hit from them as well.
I’ve got no complaints over the taste from these either. I didn’t notice any nastiness or peppery tasting nicotine when using these kits, just clean and great tasting flavours.
Pros
- Great choice for longfill e-liquids
- Cheaply priced
- Clean tasting kits
- Easy to use
- Noticeable throat hit
Cons
- Sometimes the bottle tops are quite hard to remove
- Vapour production isn’t the best with a 50/50 blend
Final Verdict
These new options for Nixer’s Mixing Kits only strengthen the range further and provide more vaping choices in terms of nicotine strengths and mix ratios. They have now covered most of the bases when it comes to mixing kits for your longfills.
Not everyone likes to vape nicotine salt due to the lack of throat hit. There are still plenty of vapers out there that have a preference for higher strength freebase nicotine that produces a discreet level of vapour and gives them that satisfying throat hit. Therefore the 6mg and 9mg nicotine strength options will cater to them perfectly.
In terms of a mixing kit, these do the job perfectly and are priced attractively too so don’t forget to pick one of these up when purchasing your next longfill e-liquid!
