Today I’m taking a look at the Nebulos Vape MoodBar disposable vape range.
UK based Nebulos Vape were founded in 2020 by leading industry professionals hell bent on breaking into the vape market. They’re achieving this by offering innovative products designed to shake the disposable vape scene.
Classed as one of the freshest disposables around, the underlying ethos of the MoodBar is clear.
To create innovative vaping solutions to help people quit tobacco products and lead a healthier life.
As many of you will know by now – disposable vapes are seemingly flooding the vape market. They’re instantly useable, instantly accessible.
What exactly (if anything) does the Nebulos Vape MoodBar offer in the way of innovation?
Let’s find out.
What Can We Expect From The Nebulos Vape MoodBar Disposable Vapes?
Nebulos Vape have adopted a pretty straight forward classic look to their MoodBar disposables. We’ve seen the ‘T’ shaped (Duck-bill) mouthpiece many times before – that’s because it’s one of the most comfortable.
What separates them from others is the stark black matt finish and flavour colour coded fonts embossed onto the side. It’s a tidy, clean and mature look which I personally dig.
There are also three airflow slots on the base where normally two suffice. This no doubt has a bearing on the increased airflow claim.
With a height of 107mm and a diameter of 16mm the disposables are pretty much industry standard in terms of size.
So being designed in the UK (manufactured in China), the MoodBar is fully TPD compliant. This of course means it holds the regulatory 2ml of e-liquid. The strength of which is only available in 20mg salt nicotine.
With an integrated battery capacity of 550mAh the disposables are said to last in the region of 600 puffs. I’ll be testing battery life and approximate number of puffs shortly.
We get a grand total of six flavours to choose from ranging from fruity to menthol to candy.
Incidentally the two most popular flavours, Pink Lemonade and Blue Razz ice are also available in 120mg CBD format – if that happens to be your bag.

MoodBar – Blue Razz Ice
Nebulos Vape Says:
Combining the sweet yet tart taste of Blue Raspberry on the inhale with an icy Menthol finish on exhale.
I Say:
There’s quite an intense, sharp cooling blast from the Menthol during inhale. It’s swiftly backed up by an elevated level of sweetness which combines with the sour like properties of the fruit on the way out.
The Raspberry is clean and tasty yet lacks the authenticity of the real thing. So this does give it a sweet candy like edge but without losing any of its appeal.
Throughout the exhale and beyond expect the icy effect to linger on the lips and rear of the throat. This might appeal to some but I personally thought it was more of an intrusion to the overall vape experience.
Also the blending of sweet and sour may be a bit overdone but the underlying flavour quality still impresses.
What we have is a very simple candy Raspberry flavour with oodles of Menthol thrown in. It does enough to hold my attention, that’s for sure.
MoodBar – Gummy Bear Ice
Nebulos Vape Says:
A candy blend with an icy kick. The sugary, fruity flavour of Gummy Bear sweets is combined with a fruity Menthol finish.
I Say:
Again there’s an abundance of sweetener with Gummy Bear Ice. That’s evident from the very first inhale. This time it deposits a sugary like layer on the tip of the tongue. It’s not a vaping experience I particularly enjoy but I’m sure others will disagree.
The Menthol content isn’t quite as strong as found with Blue Razz Ice but it’s attenuated by the sweetness of the included fruits.
Of the fruits I would have to say Orange dominates and is very similar in nature to a powdered, vending machine beverage. There’s none of the acidic, citric quality you expect from the real thing.
Pineapple and Grapefruit also reside but very much as back notes so any flavour blending is pretty much nullified.
That’s not to say Gummy Bear Ice lacks fruity flavour because it is constantly churned out with every exhale.
It’s definitely a candy inspired vape but without any of the gummy qualities of the sweet.
MoodBar – Mango Ice
Nebulos Vape Says:
A frosty tropical fruit fusion that blends the exotic, juicy taste of freshly ripened Mangos with a wave of chilly Menthol on exhale.
I Say:
Very pleasing! The Mango is well represented here and it is pretty much like the fresh, ripe variety as mentioned in the flavour description.
The juicy nature of the fruit spills from the exhale and the applied sweetener is just about spot on. The sugary content breaks away from the main ingredient towards the end of the vape. Its after effect remains on the taste buds in a pleasant way as a bonus treat.
I find Mango Ice to be a very tasty experience. The cooling menthol tickles the throat on the inhale and leaves a lasting impression post vape.
This time the Menthol works with the fruit and really helps to keep the experience both invigorating and refreshing at the same time.
It’s a very moreish vape in my opinion and shows just how the less complex e-liquids can sometimes be as effective as the multi layered ones.
A sure fire winner for those long hot Summer months, methinks.
MoodBar – Menthol
Nebulos Vape Says:
A simple yet fresh tasting blend with the frosty flavour of Menthol present from inhale to exhale.
I Say:
This one has exactly the level of Menthol I was expecting. By that I mean it has a chilling, cutting intensity on the inhale that builds up to delivers a chilly blast to the back of the throat on the way out.
I find it’s not the ‘classic’ Menthol taste per se because I’m convinced there’s some spearmint thrown in there as well. This creates some much needed interest to a profile I usually consider dull and boring.
So it’s an icy cold, yet still rather flavoursome vape and I think Nebulos Vape have done a fine job balancing the Menthol and mint.
Simple and straight forward again. It won’t disappoint especially if you’re a transitioning smoker who used to partake in menthol cigarettes.
It will also act as a very refreshing palate cleanser and help cool things during those long, hot Summer months.
MoodBar – Pink Lemonade
Nebulos Vape Says:
A summery soda blend that pairs the juicy flavour of mixed Berries with a zesty Lemonade base note.
I Say:
Now this is a definite Summer time vape that’s literally bursting with flavour.
I pick up plenty of sweetness on the inhale with a very conservative level of cooling to sooth the throat on the way out. The Koolada is the driving force behind the freshness to Pink Lemonade.
It’s the Lemonade that steals the majority of attention and it’s both tasty and thirst quenching. A bitterness to the fruit is also evident and there are a few back notes of Orange towards the mid way point of exhale.
As for mixed berries? I’m not so sure. My palate wasn’t really able to pick them out.
That doesn’t stop Pink Lemonade from being a vape packed with flavour and there’s more than enough to appease the regular beverage vaper.
MoodBar – Strawberry Ice
Nebulos Vape Says:
Strawberry Ice fuses the juicy tasting, sweet flavour of freshly picked Strawberries with a cool burst of icy Menthol.
I Say:
Most disposables keep the flavours basic and that applies to Strawberry Ice. It’s rare to find much in the way of complexity and Nebulos Vape have kept things simple again.
The Strawberry found here is a very generic variety. It’s designed to appeal to the casual vaper. Someone who’s just looking for a quick nicotine fix above anything else.
It’s the kind of flavouring found in chewy, soft sweets so don’t expect a succulent, ripe tasting berry. You’ll be disappointed.
That’s not to say Strawberry Ice isn’t without merit because it’s still kind of juicy in its own way. There’s plenty of sweetener added to help liven the exhale. It consistently delivers on flavour with every vape.
I would say that the Menthol is a bit over played though. This version ended up searing the back of the throat and took a long time to abate.
Battery performance and Number of Puffs
The MoodBar is right up there for battery life. I often chain vape (repeated vaping in a short space of time) so I can average the number of puffs per hour to be around 90.
These disposables held out for well over 7 hours. During most of this time I was chain vaping. Based on simple maths this means you’ll be getting those 600 puffs in easily – maybe a handful more.
I did notice some flavour degradation over the last half hours use or so. Flavour suffers first, cooling content next and the sweetness of the vapes is the last thing to subside.
I never experienced any dry hitting either so the e-liquid – coil resistance – battery life is pretty much on par.
Final Review verdict
The Nebulos Vape MoodBar disposable vapes deliver consistent flavour for hours on end. A no nonsense approach has been taken with the fruity flavours jostling for attention alongside a liberal coating of sugary sweetness.
The Menthol content can be a bit overwhelming on the throat at times, lingering around. That’s just something I’m not particularly keen on but many others are likely to welcome the effect.
What we’re left with is a bunch of ‘pop style’ fruits designed to appeal to the masses. The casual vaper is likely to be instantly hooked on these disposables.
Not only for the flavour but the ease of use, portability and all round convenience.
