Time for some more Nic Salts – this time it is the Monster Labs Fruit Monster Nic Salt e-liquid range.
Monster Vape Labs (MVL) have not only been providing some ace e-liquid over the years, they have even have ventured into Disposable vapes!
You might know them from their Jam Monster range. Followed by Lemonade Monster, Frozen Fruit Monster, Tobacco Monster, Custard Monster and Ice Monster variants.
Created in 2016 MVL set out to…
“make the highest-quality e-liquid in the cleanest, most technologically advanced manufacturing facility in the world – and succeeded.”
Their manufacturing takes place in their facility in Orlando Florida USA and has ISO and GMP certifications.
What Can We Expect From The Monster Labs Fruit Monster Salts E-liquid Range?
Well hopefully plenty of “Fruitiness”!
I received 6 flavours in the 10ml Nic salt range, thank you to Vape Club for sending these over for review! I will report back honestly on my findings from the e-liquids provided.
As always taste is subjective, plus the type of equipment you use will cause results to vary. So use my review as a guide. I will try and focus on how well the flavours meet the descriptions.
These come in TPD Compliant 10ml bottles with 20mg Nicotine Salt strengths. The lid is childproof to help keep things safe. Also remember to recycle your empty bottles!
The e-liquid mix ratio is 50%PG / 50%VG which is more suitable for low power kits. This mix is too thin for higher power kits and may cause leaks and spitting.
I will be using my OXVA Xlim V2 kit for these with a new 0.8ohm pod for each flavour.
Packaging
These are standalone 10ml bottles (no box) and the label tells you everything you need to know.
You get the VG/PG ratio, Nic salt strength, applicable warnings and an expiry date with batch number. These are all reassuring signs of a quality e-liquid that is tracked and tested.
There is a lovely thin nozzle (why does this sound rude?) which is ideal for the majority of pod and starter kit devices.
Blueberry Raspberry Lemon

I Say…
This is blended very well, in fact it is hard to pick out any dominant flavour.
The first taste you get is of rich sweet berries which is absolutely delicious.
But fear not if you are not of a “sweet tooth” persuasion, as the Lemon kicks in on the exhale and levels things out again.
Personally I would prefer this without the Lemon, as I am a Sweetie Monster (see what I did there – new idea for a range for you MVL!!)
However this combo of flavours means it should appeal to everyone. There is plenty of sweetness and some sour and neither becomes overbearing.
It is extremely enjoyable and very moreish! I absent-mindingly vaped a whole 2ml of this whilst working! I am only supposed to be tasting hahaha! That is the equivalent of sogging a whole bottle down you when Wine Tasting!

Mango Peach Guava

I Say…
Oh dear, two of my least favourite flavours in one bottle. Yep Mango and Guava put my taste-buds in a really bad mood. Can the addition of Peach help to salvage this one?
Well it is better than I expected! None of the “Soily” tasting Mango or “Soapy” tasting Guava here – yippee!
And yes I do think the Peach is the superhero squished into this little bottle!
On the inhale this is a lot sweeter than I was expecting – which makes me happy and the Guava and Mango are definitely there.
Thankfully the Peach seems to act like a catalyst, taking all the nastiness away from the two main demons and elevating this to something sweet and fluffy.
For me this is absolutely perfect and is a triumph in uniting flavours. But if you want something sour and tangy this might not be for you.
It is sweeter than you would expect from these fruits so I am dropping a point as some vapers may be put off. I’m not though – but my opinion doesn’t really matter!
Mixed Berry

I Say…
This is one of those flavours (apart from Bubblegum) which I would be magnetically drawn to on any shelf so I have high hopes!
Imagine mixing together (or eating both at the same time) Blackcurrant Chewits and Strawberry Chewits. Can you imagine? If not think of a chewy sweet with a smooth mellow flavour.
Anyway this e-liquid tastes exactly like that.
A very well blended mixture of Blackcurrant and Strawberry according to my palate.
So yes for me this is perfect, Sweetie-tastic. If you wanted a more tangy and genuine fruit flavour you might need to swerve this variant.
This will not appeal to everyone as it is a slightly synthetic rendering of both fruits but it does tick all the boxes for me!
Again have dropped a mark as some might be expecting an authentic representation.
Passionfruit Orange Guava

I Say…
Uh Oh, the Guava is back to haunt me, however it is combined with the rarest of vape flavours – Orange. I never see Orange e-liquid – which is a shame as it is a flavour I think I would enjoy!
Thankfully the Guava is pretty well hidden, in fact I can barely detect it at all – brilliant!
This is on the sweeter spectrum and I love the Orange in here. It is not like a sour tangy citrus though, it is more like an Orange Squash / Cordial – which is my preference.
Unbelievably I couldn’t tell you what Passionfruit actually tastes like, I don’t recall ever eating it or trying an e-liquid that was solely that flavour.
But there is an edge to this e-liquid which is neither Orange or Guava, which I assume is the Passionfruit. It brings a more rounded fruity depth and is extremely welcome.
Although the lack of Guava makes me extremely happy, it might be a let-down for Guava fans so I have deducted a point.
Strawberry Banana

I Say…
This smells exactly like the Foam Banana sweets pictured below!
And the Foam Banana flavour is present straight away! It is also the aftertaste you are left with after exhaling.
In the middle of vaping however, the Strawberry pops its head up and joins in the fun.
I wasn’t sold on this being a harmonious combination before I vaped it and now I am sold! It really is a yummy scrummy flavour.
There is no doubt the Banana is the dominant flavour, but the Strawberry brings depth and reminds me of Strawberry Ice Cream when mixed with the Banana.
For a fruit only flavour, this gives off a really creamy sensation and almost combines to a Vanilla at times.
I think a little splash of ice would be perfect for this e-liquid as I am getting such an Ice Cream experience that some cooling would be epic.
I will have to knock down a point again – am so sorry – as this is more of a Candy flavour. Those expecting crisp fresh realistic fruits will not be impressed.
But I am extremely impressed, it is a gorgeous combo!
Strawberry Kiwi Pomegranate

I Say…
I have not got high hopes for this flavour. Kiwi often is badly replicated when turned into e-liquid and often (in my opinion) tastes like Shampoo.
Can the other two flavours involved save this from the shelf in the bathroom?
Well the Kiwi is definitely toned down and turned into a brighter sweeter offering. I do get both the Strawberry and Pomegranate too. In fact the Strawberry is the dominant flavour.
This is another Candy style vape but not quite as sweet as the other flavours.
The Strawberry is again like an Ice Cream Strawberry flavour but the other two fruits keep it in check to prevent a sickly sweet affair kicking off.
If I had to be honest, this is the weakest flavour in the range to my palate, but it is by no means a stinker. This could just do with a bit more “oomph” as it is not overflowing with flavour like the rest.
Monster Labs Fruit Monster Salts E-liquid Final Review Verdict
Wow what an excellent range from Monster!
These e-liquids were on the sweeter side, taking on a Candy style of flavour, which may disappoint those who want a more genuine replication of the fruits on offer.
I am perfectly happy to get vapes that are sweet, but not all vapers will be and will want more tang and sourness.
I would have happily scored the majority 10/10 but I do have to think of what buyers might be expecting from the description when they pop that flavour in their basket.
There is also no doubt these are bursting with flavour and with a decent kit (Such as an OXVA Xlim or Uwell Caliburn) they are successful competition for any disposable vape!
If you are currently into your Disposables, consider one of the kits I mentioned and chuck some of this deliciousness into the pod. You will not be disappointed!
