In today’s review we are taking a look at the latest pod kit from Lost Vape – the Lost Vape Thelema Nano!
Lost Vape were founded in 2014. They made a name for themselves with some quality products like the Lost Vape Orion Mini, Lost Vape Centaurus B60 & B80, Lost Vape Ursa Mini, Lost Vape Ursa Nano and the Lost Vape Movement 18K disposable vapes.
They also recently celebrated their 10th anniversary by releasing two special edition pod systems, the Ursa Nano S II and the Ursa Nano 3.
Is the Thelema Nano going to continue Lost Vape’s excellent track record with pod systems? Read on to find out more…
What Can We Expect From The Lost Vape Thelema Nano?
Lost Vape are touting the Thelema Nano as the world’s first ‘sub-ohm dual mesh’ pod kit. Featuring a dual mesh layered coil pod with “E-Core Tech 3.0” providing a rich, multi-layered flavour experience!
There’s a 5-layer anti-leak design, with Bloom Multi-Layered flavours for smooth, satisfying vapour and a perfect throat hit. E-Core Tech 3.0 enhances the sweetness, coolness and complexity of your e-liquid flavours whilst ensuring a consistent vape at the same time.
Eco and Boost modes are featured on this device too, to cater to different vaping styles. Plus you can further tailor the vape to your preferences with the ability to adjust the airflow and the wattage from 5-45W. That’s a lot of power in a pod system!
For that level of power, you’ll need a decent battery to back it up. The Lost Vape Thelema Nano packs in a 1500mAh battery that is rechargeable via USB-C, whilst still retaining a lightweight and vibrant design.
Pod compatibility with the E Plus series of Lost Vape cartridges caters to Mouth To Lung (MTL), Restricted Direct Lung (RDL) and Direct To Lung (DTL) airflow.
- E Plus Dual Mesh Cartridges: There are 0.3ohm, 0.45ohm (coming soon) and 0.6ohm resistances available.
- E Plus Cartridges: 0.3ohm, O.6ohm and 0.8ohm.
We tell you what these terms mean in our Guide To Vape Styles.
The Thelema Nano also offers the option of auto-draw or a button to fire your device.
You can choose from 9 colours: Mystic Aurora, Pastel Sky, Midnight Black, Lake Blue, Champaign Gold, Silver Blue, Spring Green, Lavender Violet and Sakura Pink.
Many thanks to Lost Vape for sending the Thelema Nano in for review, let’s see how it stacks up! As always, all views are my own…

Design & Build Quality
One aspect that immediately surprised me when I took the Lost Vape Thelema Nano out of the box was the size of the device. It was a lot smaller than I was expecting it to be! The picture of the device on the box made me think that it was going to be a lot larger than it was!
That is actually a good thing, as I do like a small form factor pod system. This one measures 30.2mm x 25.6mm x 104mm and weighs only 76g too. Making the Thelema Nano a lightweight and stealthy carry.
With the maximum 45W power output and the 1500mAh built in battery, that is a lot of power packed into such a small pod system!
It is manufactured from Zinc Alloy and Polycarbonate, with a Leather finish on the rear. The build quality feels pretty robust and has an attractive, futuristic design to it.
The front of the Thelema Nano features a power button and + – adjustment buttons.
A 0.96″ TFT colour screen displays the battery charge, selected output mode, power output, puff counter and coil resistance.
Lost Vape E Plus cartridges connect magnetically to the Thelema Nano device, with a solid connection. However there is a bit of wobble present if you grip the pod and give it a wiggle.
Quick Start Guide
How To Fill The Pod
First things first, you’ll need to fill up your Lost Vape E Plus Dual Mesh pod!
If you are filling up a brand new E Plus Dual Mesh pod for the first time, let the e-liquid sit in the pod for five minutes before vaping, to allow the cotton in the coil to fully absorb the e-liquid. This will reduce the chances of burnt or dry hits occurring, and prolong the lifespan of your pod.
- Remove the pod from the device by pulling it against the magnetic connection of the pod.
- Locate the silicon filling port cover near the base of the pod and lift up this to expose the filling port.
- Insert your e-liquid bottle nozzle and fill the pod all the way up, before replacing the silicon filling port cover.
- Replace the pod in the device.
Operation
To turn the Thelema Nano on and off, press the power button five times within two seconds. The + and – buttons on the front of the device will adjust the output power in 1W increments.
Modes
Adjusting between Eco and Boost mode can be done quickly by pressing the power button twice in two seconds.
In Eco mode there is only one coil in use at a time, this means a higher coil resistance and lower power output. The device battery and coil life will be significantly improved in this mode. But flavour and throat hit may be compromised.
In Boost mode both coils operate together to give a lower resistance and higher power output. Ideal if you like stronger flavour, clouds or throat hit.
Menu
A simple menu system is present, which can be accessed by quick pressing the power button three times.
The + and – buttons allow you to scroll through the different options and the power button confirms your selection. Menu options are:
- Puff: clears the puff counter
- Buttons lock: locks the power, + and – buttons but vaping via auto-draw is still available
- Version: displays the current software version
- Exit: takes you back out of the menu
Charging
The USB-C charging port is located on the front of the device, underneath the screen, and features a handy dust cover to prevent lint being trapped in the charging port.
Stated charging rate is 5V/1.4A and gave me a full charge in around 40 minutes, which wasn’t too shabby for a 1500mAh battery capacity!
Safety Features
Built into the Thelema Nano are Check Atomiser, Short Circuit, Low Battery, Overheating and Vaping Overtime protections for safety.
How Does The Lost Vape Thelema Nano Perform?
You get 0.3ohm and 0.6ohm E Plus Dual Mesh pods included in the kit. So the Thelema Nano can cater to mouth to lung, restricted direct lung and direct lung vapers right out of the box. A 0.45ohm pod is scheduled for release soon.
I did notice that when using the auto-draw firing mode (which is my preference on a pod system) the output could cut in and out occasionally resulting in an inconsistent vape. This could be down to the pods not having a particularly solid connection.
I received two Thelema Nano devices for review and this would happen on both of them. Which meant I defaulted to using the power button to ensure that there was a consistent firing output!
Eco & Boost Modes
The Eco and Boost modes aren’t just a gimmick, they can also affect the vape that you get from your Thelema Nano device and provide different experiences.
With Eco mode, the dual mesh coils work in turn, providing a slightly more subtle vape that is best suited to a mouth to lung preference. This also means that the battery lifespan is increased over boost mode.
Boost mode makes both the mesh coils fire up at the same time, to provide a richer and fuller vape. The strength of the vape benefits from extra airflow meaning that this mode is best suited to restricted direct to lung or direct lung vaping.
0.3ohm E Plus Dual Mesh Pod
This is the pod that is best suited for restricted direct lung and direct to lung vaping. It can take full advantage of the maximum 45W output power that is available on the Thelema Nano.
Boost mode is a perfect match for this pod, making for a robust and rich warm vape that is full of flavour and has plenty of dense vapour production to boot!
0.6ohm E Plus Dual Mesh Pod
This pod is the one that comes installed on the Thelema Nano (well it did on the two that I received anyway!) and I felt that this pod was best suited for restricted direct lung and mouth to lung vaping.
I also felt, that between Eco and Boost modes, Eco mode suited this pod a little better. It worked best for me with slow draws in the 25-30W output power range, providing a smoother vape that is still packed with tasty flavour.
Pod Lifespan
Both pods are well suited to both freebase and nicotine salt e-liquids and have no problems wicking 50/50 and 60/40 VG/PG e-liquids. These have been consistently leak free too. I have only needed to occasionally wipe away a small amount of condensation whilst using the Thelema Nano.
I got a week’s worth of lifespan out of both pods here, which is right in line with what I would expect from a pod system.
Airflow
An airflow slider is located on the side of the Thelema Nano, which features very smooth travel and is easy to operate using my thumb.
Airflow options range from a tight mouth to lung hit right through to an unrestricted direct lung hit, ensuring that all styles of vaping are catered to.
The Thelema Nano is no slouch when it comes to vapour production too! This little kit is capable of punching well above its weight and kicking out some impressive, dense clouds with the airflow opened up!
Battery Life
With the Thelema Nano, a 1500mAh battery is built into the device, which I have found to be easily enough to get me through a full day’s worth of use even when running the 0.3ohm E Plus pod at maximum settings. No complaints at all from me there!
Pros
- Small form factor
- Powerful device, outputs up to 45W
- Mouth to lung and restricted direct lung vaping
- Adjustable airflow and wattage
- Good battery lifespan
- Rich, flavourful vape
Cons
- Inconsistent firing with auto-draw
- Pods wobble around which can cause connection issues
- Limited menu options
- Need to remove the pod to fill and check the e-liquid level
Final Verdict
I’ve reviewed and owned a fair few Lost Vape devices in the years that I’ve spent vaping and I’ve always found them to offer a consistently great vape in a smart looking package.
The Thelema Nano is another Lost Vape device that ticks all the right boxes. A solidly built, attractive looking pod system that offers an enjoyable and flavoursome vape.
Plenty of power is packed into this little device too, outputting up to 45W. That is a huge amount for a device this small, yet it will still keep you vaping throughout the day with the built in 1500mAh battery.
If you are in the market for a small form factor powerful pod system then the Lost Vape Thelema Nano will definitely be worth considering once it releases shortly!
