The Kuga Heat Uzi review and yet more disposable vape pens to put to the taste test!
This particular range might have a bit of an edge given they feature those lit cigarette style filter drip tips that are becoming a bit of thing these days.
However, as you’ll see, these certainly look a cut above the flimsy plastic disposables flooding the market….interesting flavours too.
As to if they taste as well as they look, we shall of course find out in this vape review.
I’ve reviewed pretty much all of the Kuga Heat product range and I’ve been pretty impressed so far.
Vape Company Dream Team
Kuga Heat is staffed by a dream team formerly from Geekvape, Voopoo and SMOORE – a great pedigree and bags of vaping experience.
Kuga Heat specializes in HNB – pod kits and are now entering the disposable vape kit market.
I recently reviewed the Kuga Heat Ration and Shells disposables and of course the Knights pod kit.
As for the HNB kits, the Desert Eagle is a very good entry device, whilst the superb Kuga Heat Commando has a few more bells and whistles.
What Can We Expect From the Kuga Heat Uzi?
The Kuga Heat Uzi is a disposable vape pen featuring a lit cigarette style filter and there’s currently 5 flavours to choose from.
Depending on where in the world you are they have a 2/2.4ml capacity and are filled with 20/50mg nic salt.
Kuga Heat says each disposable vape pen can give you up to 800 puffs and as to the battery capacity these are so new the technical details still haven’t been added to the website.
I’ve received all five of the Uzi flavours direct from Kuga Vape – thank you – and as always my thoughts and opinions are not swayed by freebies.
So let’s see if the Kuga Heat Uzi has me firing on all cylinders…
Kuga Heat Uzi – Orange Soda
I Say:
No mistaking the smell from this one – I’m thinking fizzy orange Tango.
They’ve gone real heavy on the ice and I mean a real arctic hit – ouch shouts my old tonsils.
To be honest the inhale is so cccccold you kind of miss the orange somewhat.
Things calm down a little on the exhale and yup you do get a tasty sweet fruitiness.
Definitely one for those of you that like plenty of coolada…
Kuga Heat Uzi – Strawberry Yogurt
I Say:
They’re using the American spelling which hurts this olds Brits head – but hey what can you do lol.
Not much of an aroma coming from this one, maybe the merest hint of fruit.
There’s absolutely no cooling agent and the vape is all the better for it.
I’m getting a kind of strawberry milkshake taste with the tiniest hint of sour yoghurt on the inhale and it’s a remarkably warm vape.
There’s no real change on the exhale but it’s pleasant enough, just not very yorghurty if that’s even a word.
Maybe American yoghurt is less tangy…
Kuga Heat Uzi – Honeydew Banana Smoothie
I Say:
As you might expect banana dominates the smell from the pen.
And that’s the predominant flavour on the inhale too, and again a real whack of coolada on your throat.
It’s those foamy banana sweets/candies rather than fresh I struggled to pick up any of the melon.
If you like the idea of a creamy sweet banana vape then you’ll adore this one.
Kuga Heat Uzi – Lemon Blueberry Tart
I Say:
This one should be right up my street given I love a lemon tart vape.
Once again the aroma from the vape pen is rather subdued giving a kind of sweet fruity smell.
Wow and once again your mouth is filled with that coolada and a threat to freeze dry your throat.
Underneath I am picking out sweet pastry with a hint of fruit – but to be honest it’s on the super sugary side.
The exhale sees that bakery to the fore with the sweet blueberry cancelling out what I had hoped would be a sharp lemon.
Not bad, and dessert vapers will love it I’m sure.
Kuga Heat Uzi – Pineapple Rum Punch
I Say:
The last decent holiday I had was in Guadeloupe and I became hooked on that island’s blend of rum punch…lovely stuff with a real kick lol.
Again the smell from the pen is slightly muted, but you do get the warmth of the rum coming through if you sniff hard enough.
And yeah, the inhale shuts down the warmth of the alcohol with another wave of iciness washing in giving yet another ice cold throat hit.
You are getting a hint of pineapple underneath the ice, for me it’s only on the exhale where the rum tries hard to warm things up.
There is a kind of rum after taste in your mouth, but again for me far too much coolada.
MTL Or DTL?
I’d plant the Kuga Heat Uzi disposable vapes in the restricted direct lung style area.
With 10 being as airy as it gets, these are a low to mid 7.
Place a finger or two on the base and that cuts the airflow off a little more.
The vapour is very impressive for nic salts too.
Final Review Verdict
Kuga Heat does like to use top class materials in its disposable vapes and the Uzi is no exception.
These are made from stainless steel and whilst they are literally just tubes, they are very well made indeed.
I said the same thing about the Kuga Shells – as in premium build materials – and for a disposable that may be a little over the top.
Saying that, the Kuga Heat products are superb quality at competitive prices too – makes a change I guess…if they were cheapo plastic I’d be moaning lol.
The lit cig style drip tips certainly do feel good in the mouth and will definitely appeal to smokers looking to quit.
Anyway, as far as the Kuga Heat Uzi goes, they were a little too cold for my palate.
The flavours just about come through the iciness, but only just.
I guess if you really like a whack of the cold stuff these are right up your ice cold street.
Given the Kuga Heat Uzi disposables aren’t on the website yet it seems a bit silly asking if you’ve tried them…
Instead I’ll ask are you interested in them and what’s your opinion on disposable vapes…
