In today’s review, we’ve got the Juicy Pod 6000 Pro to look at!
These are manufactured by China-based Juicy Pod, which is a company that I haven’t come across before. Having a look at their website it seems that they have been operating since 2013, but only have the Juicy Pod 6000 Pro listed under their available products.
They boast a 20,000+ square metre modern production factory. With over 45 clean production lines and a 150+ person strong quality control team that produces 20 million units every month.
Juicy Pod leverage proprietary technologies to deliver a diverse range of rich, satisfying flavours that are tailored to vapers tastes. Using the finest natural ingredients to capture the pure, authentic essence of each flavour.
What Can We Expect From The Juicy Pod 6000 Pro?
This is a TPD-friendly disposable vape kit that comes with a pre-filled 2ml tank inside. Plus a 10ml refill container which gives you extra e-liquid! So you can expect to get up to 6000 puffs out of one of these!
The 10ml refill container is designed to slide effortlessly into the device, giving you plenty of vaping in your pocket.
The Tank and container come pre-filled with 20mg nicotine salt based e-liquid, providing a fast-acting nicotine hit similar to the one you would expect to get from a cigarette.
Juicy Pod boast that the 6000 Pro is the first 2ml, TPD compliant kit of its kind to feature dual mesh coils to deliver an intense flavourful experience! They’ve also been designed to be leak-proof and to avoid burnt hits.
You can also adjust the wattage on the Juicy Pod 6000 Pro from 17 to 22 Watts and this is easy to do using the single operation button.
There’s a 650mAh battery built in to last you through the day and this charges back up quickly thanks to 40 minute USB Type-C charging.
Here is an introduction video from the Juicy Pod YouTube channel.
A large range of 20 different flavours are available to choose from, with all the favourite disposable flavours present and correct!
Many thanks to Juicy Pod for sending five of the 6000 Pro kits in for review! Let’s dive in and have a look at these in a bit more detail, as always all views are my own…

Design & Build Quality
My first thought when taking one of the Juicy Pod 6000Pro devices out of the packaging was that this was quite a hefty device. It certainly is when it comes to a disposable vape, with measurements of 102mm x 43.7mm x 25.1mm.
It is a rectangular shaped box-style device, that has a transparent plastic housing allowing you to see the chip inside.
You can also clearly see the built in 650mAh battery and the refillable container once inserted.
Inside the 2ml tank is a fixed dual mesh coil system
At the top of the device is a singular button, which is used for adjusting the wattage from 17-22 watts. Below this is the screen, which also lights up when you vape and displays the current battery level and wattage setting.
On the side, you’ll find the USB-C charging port.
The mouthpiece is fixed and moulded into the device, featuring quite a large bore so expect an airy draw and plenty of vapour!
One aspect that is immediately noticeable is the compartment for the refillable container on the bottom half of the device.
A grumble that I have with the build quality here is that I found that on a couple of devices it was quite difficult to insert the refillable container. It was quite stiff and I had to give it some force to get it in.
On the other three, they slid in no problem at all!
Quick Start Guide
Before getting on with vaping a Juicy Pod 6000 Pro, you need to insert the refillable container. It’s already half hanging out of the device when you take it out of the packaging!
So, to insert the container, you need to…
- Remove the sticker from the container
- Unscrew the cap from the container
- Grab the long dangly white piece of silicon pull that out.
- Push the container in
Do not remove the Black rubber cap from the container as that will render it useless – it won’t connect properly to the device if you do this.
After that, you can adjust the wattage from 17-22W in 1W increments by pushing the large button above the screen.
This is an auto draw device so to fire it simply take a draw on the mouthpiece.
Charging
A USB-C charging port is present on the side of the device, but you don’t get a charging cable included with the kit so you will need to use one of your own!
This device does have fast charging capabilities and you can charge up the built in 650mAh battery from flat to full in around 40 minutes.
Flavours
You’ve got 20 different flavours to pick from in the Juicy Pod 6000 Pro range.
Choose from: Mr Blue, Juicy Peach, Fresh Mint, Pineapple Lemon Soda, Summer Romance, Blue Razz Lemon, Blueberry Ice, Blueberry Sour Raspberry, Cherry Ice, Grape Ice, Kiwi Passionfruit Guava, Lemon Lime, Pink Lemon, Pineapple Ice, Sour Apple Ice, Strawberry Ice, Strawberry Raspberry Cherry Ice, Tobacco and Triple Mango.
How Do The Juicy Pod 6000 Pro Kits Perform?
This is a fixed airflow device with adjustable wattage and it delivers quite an airy restricted lung hit.
If you prefer a tighter draw from your device, unfortunately you are out of luck here, as there’s no way to adjust the airflow.
You can adjust the wattage from 17-22 watts, making the Juicy Pod 6000 Pro one of the more powerful disposable devices on the market. And it can definitely kick out the clouds too, with quite an impressive amount of vapour produced with each puff!
You’ve got a 650mAh battery built in, which during testing didn’t quite last me an entire day before I needed to charge it.
This is mainly because I tended to vape this in the 20-22W region and I vape quite heavily so your mileage may vary here.
Lemon Lime
No disposable range is complete without a lemon and lime flavour, thankfully it is one of my favourite ones to try!
And this one is…OK. it isn’t amazing by any stretch of the imagination, but it gets the job done.
The lime seems to be the most dominant flavour present here and it reminded me of the lime flavouring from a Twister ice lolly. It is quite strong and sharp and as a result the lemon flavouring seems to take a bit of a backseat here.
There is some sweetener present that I could detect more on the exhale and what seems to be a note of koolada too for an icy sensation.
Triple Mango
Triple strength mango?
Not quite, certainly not like some of the other ‘triple’ or strong mango flavours that I have tried.
Yes, the mango flavouring is there, but it felt quite muted to me. Tasting almost like a mango that isn’t quite ripe yet.
I was expecting it to be much stronger and in your face given the name! Even when cranking the wattage up to the 22W maximum, it still wasn’t quite there.
As expected, there’s a little hint of a cooling sensation at the end, but this is too subtle to really notice. I’d prefer it to be a lot stronger if I’m honest.
Blueberry Sour Raspberry
Yeah, this one did the trick for me!
I can detect the blueberry and raspberry flavours, with the blueberry coming in first before giving way to a sweet raspberry flavour. These two flavours actually tasted quite authentic and reminded me of the actual fruits.
The sour kick seemed to come in at the end along with a cooling sensation, which was actually quite nice and enjoyable.
This one was my pick of the five that I got to try out!
Watermelon Ice
The watermelon flavour present here was unfortunately a bit washed out and artificial tasting.
This does have one of the stronger icy cooling sensations to it, but it seems to overpower the watermelon flavour which I found to be quite weak.
I’m not the biggest fan of watermelon flavours and unfortunately this one didn’t change my opinion on them!
Strawberry Raspberry Cherry Ice
Argh, this one could be really good but I found the overall flavouring to be a bit weak.
There’s a muted strawberry flavour that comes in at the start. Followed up by a very subtle raspberry. The cherry was so weak I could hardly detect it at all.
I was also expecting this one to be a lot sweeter than I found it.
The icy chill comes in at the end but even this wasn’t too strong either. It felt like a cold, weak squash / cordial to me!
Pineapple Lemon Soda
Wow ok, this is a really impressive flavour from Juicy Pod! It’s also one of the stronger, more disposable like flavours that I have tried from them and that increased level of flavour really works well here.
This hits me with a strong pineapple and lemon blend right from the outset. The pineapple and lemon deliver plenty of tang and there seems to be a liberal sprinkling of sweetener to appeal to those with a sweet tooth.
The soda has an impressive little tingle to it which adds authenticity and there’s a little cooling sensation at the end which makes it taste like a cold soda.
Definitely my favourite flavour out of the ten I have tried so far from Juicy Pod!
Juicy Peach
I’m not so sure about Juicy Peach, this seemed to be more like a Creamy Peach to me!
This actually was really lacking in any sort of juiciness at all for me, the peach flavouring element seemed to be completely devoid of it. It tasted more like the skin of a peach with a really sweet element to it.
There was a creamy note to this that I was totally unprepared for that provides an undertone here. It is certainly one of the stranger Juicy Peach flavours that I have tried out!
Mr Blue
Mr Blue might be a mystery to some and even though there isn’t a flavour description available for this one from the manufacturer, from experience Mr Blue tends to be a blueberry ice type blend.
That is exactly what I personally got from the Juicy Pod 6000Pro version of Mr Blue. Though saying that, I also gave this one to my wife to try out, without telling her my thoughts on the flavour and she thought it was an energy drink type flavour! Which goes to show that everyone’s tastes can differ!
From the start, I get a strong and sweet blueberry flavour that tasted quite thick and a bit syrupy to me. Then a light and subtle cooling sensation comes in to finish it all off. I think the sweetener is quite well done here and although the blueberry flavour tasted quite strong, it wasn’t overly sweet.
Fresh Mint
I was quite impressed here with how authentic the mint tasted, Juicy Pod have done a good job here with the mint flavouring.
The mint is backed up with a sugary sweet undertone, which combined with menthol makes this one taste a bit like a Polo to me. The mint sweet, not the car!
My only complaint was that it was just a little bit too weak for me. I like my mint flavours to be pretty crisp and hard hitting and the menthol note was too subtle as well.
Summer Romance
When I took this out of the box, I noticed that there seemed to be a fairly strong floral scent coming off this one which I thought was a little odd! I’m not the biggest fan of floral type blends so I was hoping this didn’t set the tone for the blend.
I wasn’t sure what to expect here as the name doesn’t give anything away about the blend and I couldn’t find a flavour description from the manufacturer.
Mainly what I got from this was a strawberry flavour with what tasted to me like a bit of brown sugar in the background and a creamy, vanilla finish. Maybe this was an attempt at a summer pudding? I’m not entirely sure though!
There does seem to be a bit of a floral element running through it for me, but this wasn’t too strong and it didn’t put me off vaping it. I definitely noticed the presence of it though whilst puffing away on Summer Romance!
Puff Count
The 6000 in the name stands for how many puffs you can potentially get out of it, so as always I am going to put that claim to the test!
And yes, it did fall short of that mark. I measured how many puffs I got out of the Triple Mango version and it totalled up to 2,823.
Bear in mind though that I was having to vape this at above 20W consistently to get a decent amount of flavour, which would have a significant impact on e-liquid consumption. Vaping at lower wattage will get you more puffs.
Now, once you’ve finished the 12ml worth of e-liquid, the device is essentially rendered useless and it needs to be disposed of. Which is a bit of a shame really as it seemed to me like the coil still had plenty of life left in it once I’d finished the e-liquid off.
I’d like to see the refillable containers sold separately to extend the lifespan of these a bit!
If you’ve got an e-liquid bottle with a thin enough nozzle, there’s nothing stopping you from potentially re-filling up the container with your own e-liquid…
Pros
- Interesting design
- Get a lot of puffs from one of these
- Has variable wattage
- Wide range of different flavours to pick from
- Leak free design
Cons
- Seem to have to vape it at above 20W to get decent flavour
- Adjustable airflow would be nice
- Restricted direct lung hit (RDL) only
- A couple of the pods were difficult to slot in
- Refill containers aren’t available to purchase separately, so this is a lot of waste
Final Verdict
I can’t help but think this would be a great kit with a few tweaks!
Unfortunately for me, at the moment, the negatives outweigh the positives here.
I do like the fact that there’s a lot of vaping for your money here and that you can adjust the wattage to tailor the vape a little further to how you like it.
But I think a glaring omission is that of adjustable airflow, as you are stuck with a restricted lung hit which won’t appeal to a lot of people – especially with 20mg nicotine strengths.
I felt that vaping this kit under 20W made a lot of the flavours taste muted. I had to crank it up to 20-22W at the expense of battery life.
The overall design is a great idea, slotting an extra refill container in the base for more e-liquid. But I did have issues with a couple of these having a very tight fit. I’d love to see refill containers available to purchase separately to extend the lifespan of one of these kits.
Having to throw the whole kit away once you’ve vaped all the e-liquid means that there is a lot of waste from just one device as it’s all sealed and non-recyclable.
If you are still stuck on single use disposable vapes, then it is worth having a look at one of these. They will offer more value for money, they cost the equivalent of two or 3 disposable vapes and you get many more puffs out of them overall.
With a few tweaks here and there, a future version of one of these kits could be great!
Many thanks to Juicy Pod for sending the Juicy Pod 6000 Pro in for review!
