The Joyetech eGO AIO ECO (a mouthful for sure) is from one of the biggest names in vaping.
While I wasn’t their biggest fan to begin with, the more recent releases that I’ve had the chance to review have been changing my mind about them for sure.
With offerings like the gorgeous Espion kit, the Atopack Dolphin and the Cuboid Lite…Joyetech have proved themselves a force to be reckoned with in the affordable vape gear game!
This review is all about the EGO AIO ECO, following on from the great success of their original EGO AIO range, the ECO is a tiny little all in one made for Mouth to Lung (MTL), high nicotine usage (according to product pages) and that means that it’s geared toward cigarette quitters.
I’m here to tell you all about my experience with this very sleek, very nicely put together AIO and to give you the low-down on its ease of use and viability as a tool to help beloved future vapers kick the nasties!!!!! Let’s see how the ECO adds up…

Build Quality & Design
Now, I received the grey version of the ECO and on opening up the tiny, neat box packaging I was instantly impressed by the sleek and seriously classy look and feel of this device.
The lightweight and tiny pen style all-in-one has a black, rubberised and very clicky fire button, shaped like a round-edged square, the tank section and mouthpiece are black on all the colour variants and then the bottom of the ECO is two-tone, with a white base and line running up the length of the device, in line with the fire button and the rest being what ever colour you’ve chosen.
There’s a tiny Joyetech brand at the bottom of and within the white line, just above the base.
On the left of the fire button there’s a micro USB port for charging.
On breaking down the tank section I notice that the base 0-ring is not so much an o-ring as a fixed rubber/silicon ring around the base that has the slogan “keep calm and vape on” printed on it in caps. It looks and feels solid and very stylish and certainly very high quality.
The coil head is long, cylindrical, black and takes up the whole length of the tank, I like the layout, I find breakdown easy and I feel that Joyetech have minimized the number of loose components and made this device a breeze for even the most butter fingered beginner…nice one!
The Delrin mouthpiece has a SS air restrictor within it and I’m impressed by the fact that every single aspect of this AIO says quality!
The material, I think is zinc alloy, either way, it’s glossy and the white bits have a pearlescent shimmer, it’s completely scratch proof and stunning.
I like the fact that this AIO is thinner than my pointing finger and the length of the device without the tank is the same as my palm’s width. This is the ultimate stealth device, solid, well made and super, super small…let’s see how she vapes!
How Does The Joyetech eGo AIO ECO Perform?
First up, this is an MTL device and these coils are optimized for short burst MTL hits but I do enjoy the device for very short DL hits as well but MIND that you keep the hits under 2 seconds if you do DL on this device, as those coils will burn out fast when pushed beyond their intended range.

The advertising states that the coil heads, both 0.5 Ohm, are made for high nicotine liquids and I’ll add that with the low voltage output of the device and the size of these coils, you should opt for a higher PG like 40PG or 50PG.
That said, this device does MTL like a BOSS.
It’s operation is dead simple, the airflow just right for a cigarette-like MTL draw and the flavour slightly muted with these tiny coils but definitely there. I’d be proud to offer this as a smoke-quitting assistant device to any of my dearest and I would rest assured they would have no trouble with day to day use or coil change.
Joyetech has done a good job of making a truly easy to use AIO for beginners, perfect for delivering a stealthy MTL nicotine punch anytime, anywhere.
I didn’t notice the LED in the device at first but was delighted when I took it outside during a night time BBQ (or braai, as we call it here in SA) and the whole tank lit up the most beautiful shade of green when fired. This really is a classy little piece, lovely!
I was even more delighted to discover that I could change my LED colour between a unique range of options including, deep red, purple, blue, green and white.
Oh, I also like the fact that this is a constant voltage device so…no power drain as your battery fades!!! Just good, consistent MTL hits all the way.
How To Fill The Joyetech eGo AIO
- Screw of the topcap
- Fill, avoiding the central shaft
How To Change the Coil
- Screw off the top cap
- Unscrew the coilhead from its seating at the base of the tank
- Replace coil and top cap
Stock Coil Performance
The included coilheads, the BFHN 0.5Ohm coiilheads, are just perfect, at this low, 1.85 V output and with this restricted airflow, for the perfect MTL hit.
I’ve been using a higher VG liquid than these coils are meant for most of the time, which resulted in a very muted flavour but with a high PG e-liquid the flavour is actually not bad at all!!!
Cloud is also impressive for such a tiny little device and very much in line with what you’d expect from a cigarette.
How To Operate the Menu System
- 5 Clicks on or off
- When off, hold fire in for about 6 seconds or until the indicator light comes on, then click to swap between LED colour options.
Battery Life
While 650 mAh is not very high, you’ll enjoy a full days stealthing out of this little guy, thanks to the low voltage and when your battery is flat, a quick charge from your laptop…no one will even know it’s a vape, it’s so damn tiny! To be specific, you’ll get around 350 puffs off a charge, that’s more than 2 tank fulls!
Pro’s
- It’s ever so tiny!
- Beautiful high quality finish
- Groovy LED lights
- Solid MTL with good flavour and cloud
- great battery life
- Constant voltage output so no dodgy hits when the battery is low
Cons
Nothing not to like, this is a stunning little AIO!
Final Review Verdict
I couldn’t recommend an MTL device for beginners more highly than I recommend the Joyetech eGo AIO ECO. Really a classy little kit, looks and feels like a thousand bucks and really does MTL and the infamous stealth, nicotine punch like an absolute pro.
I’m very impressed with this little guy and recommend it for stealth nicotine heads and cigarette quitters alike. I will certainly be keeping this one handy to sell vaping to the smokers I encounter because it looks good, it vapes good and it’s easy to use!!!!
And..
Would I buy the Joyetech eGO AIO ECO if I lost/broke the device? Definitely.
Excellent review Laura, you really nailed it! I bought the device 2 weeks ago and it’s so really great! Vapes good, looks stunning!
