At Ecigclick we’re no strangers to IVG. We’ve reviewed their 50/50 vape juice, limited edition, crushed, shortfill and nic salt range among others.
It has to be said they’ve been going down (or vaped) an absolute storm. I recently took a look at the IVG Bar Plus disposables and found them to be very refreshing and authentic tasting. We have also reviewed the IVG Bar disposables too.

What Can We Expect From The IVG Diamond Bar Disposable E-cig?
The disposable has been ‘diamond cut to precision’ and coated with an ergonomic rubber grip. It also incorporates a new diamond ultra airflow technology, designed to provide the smoothest nicotine and flavour delivery from an IVG disposable e-cig to date.
This is a single use item which you discard when either the battery or e-liquid run out.
Although battery capacity is marginally higher than the original the Diamond Bar retains the same maximum number of puffs.
IVG use anti leak technology and to be honest, I’ve yet to encounter any issues from their disposables in this respect.
Rather predictably the device relies entirely on auto draw and its fixed airflow system.
It comes pre-filled with 2ml of IVG’s 2021 award winning 20mg salt nicotine.

Raising The Bar On Presentation
The packaging is instantly appealing and will no doubt look a treat on the shelves of any dedicated vape shop.
It’s designed to be eye-catching and succeeds. The carton uses a silver reflective diamond pattern and the e-cig image is embossed on the front.
Bullet points, warnings, expiry dates and ECID numbers are all present and correct.
A scratch verification code is also included which, in a day and age of illegal/counterfeit vaping devices is very reassuring.
The Diamond Bar is fully vacuum sealed for freshness and devoid of any aroma drifting through. Trust me, I have noticed that with some disposables in recent months.
An information sheet is tucked inside the carton, referencing how to use the e-cig. Possible side effects and safety precautions are also included.
There’s a total of nine flavours to choose from including beverage, fruit and menthol based profiles.
The initial review takes a look at six of the flavours but I’ll update the entire range over the next few weeks.
IVG Diamond Bar – Blackcurrant Menthol

I Say:
Menthol tickles the back of the throat during the initial inhale and becomes more intense with a longer draw. It leaves a super cold lining which will dissipate after a short period.
The Blackcurrant is very sweet and succulent, working in unison with the menthol.
It does have an earthy texture and a tart like appeal which brings with it the ‘just one more vape’ syndrome.
That sweetness gets dragged into the exhale and leaves a coating on the lips. Some may not like that but I do! It adds to the overall vape experience.
I wouldn’t say it’s the most effective Blackcurrant vape I’ve tried in disposable form.
However, there’s more than enough fruit content to supplement and balance the menthol.
IVG Diamond Bar – Blueberry Pomegranate

I Say:
There’s a refreshing fruity aroma when breaking the vacuum seal which bodes well. The inhale offers just the hint of cooling agent to the back of the throat but it’s never obtrusive.
Blueberry Pomegranate contains a few candy style back notes together with a healthy dose of sweetener. I find it to be reminiscent of a Bubblegum vape – don’t ask me why, I always use the excuse that taste is subjective! lol
The tart like qualities of the Pomegranate appear during the front end of the exhale then makes way for a Blueberry which seems to struggle. That’s probably due to being heavily disguised against some strong citrus back notes.
As a consequence it exudes a ‘perfume’ like after taste that I don’t think fits the description. There’s plenty of flavour here – but it doesn’t quite live up to my expectations.
IVG Diamond Bar – Blueberry Sour Raspberry

I Say:
I get the faintest hint of cooling agent from Blueberry and Sour Raspberry. It tends to chill the inside of the mouth after the vape. I’m not over keen on that because it distracts from the rest of the vaping experience.
The Blueberry is more focused here than Blueberry Pomegranate. There’s still something of a candy like quality to it and I don’t really pick up much of the Raspberry in all honesty. It seems to get buried under a colossal amount of sweetener.
Sour back notes are also in abundance but do nothing to bring the Raspberry to life. Instead they tend to unbalance the overall flavour experience.
So it’s more about a sweet influenced Blueberry than anything else. It doesn’t deliver the fusion of flavour I was looking for.
The cooling agent is quite persistent and could have been toned down. I think it puts paid to Blueberry and Sour Raspberry, hindering rather than helping the end result.
IVG Diamond Bar – Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava

I Say:
It sounds like there’s plenty going on with this one. I get a very pleasant fragrance when breaking the vacuum seal and I’m reminded of Pineapple with a hint of Pear.
Plenty of sourness builds on the inhale and the Coolada contribution helps to balance things. The sweetness of the vape is the main contributing factor during the exhale. It’s a very strong, pungent tropical fruit vape and best savoured by way of a slow exhale.
The tangy like qualities of Passionfruit and Kiwi mix well and add flavour depth to the experience while subtle hints of Pineapple and Pear filter through underneath.
It has to be said the sweetness and acidic content tends to steal the show but never interferes with the fruity notes of the profile.
So there’s a juiciness to be found and coupled with those tropical notes, really pushes Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava to the front in terms of a quality summer vape.
IVG Diamond Bar – Red Apple Ice

It’s great to see IVG haven’t gone mad with the cooling agent in Red Apple Ice. Yes, it does build during the inhale and does line the throat but never reaches insane levels.
The sweetness also builds on the inhale and mixes superbly with Red Apples on the way out. The Apple is very authentic, crisp and clean, instantly stimulating the taste buds.
Red Apple Ice is quite mouth watering and refreshing as a vape – it does a good job of holding the flavour notes throughout.
In fact the driving force is the sweetness, related sharp notes and overall flavour quality. It’s a very polished creation.

IVG Diamond Bar – Red Rush Ice

I Say:
This is your classic energy drink in a vape and it’s been done very well.
It’s probably the only one in the range that provides a welcome fullness on the inhale. The exhale is simply bursting with flavour that’s clean and refreshing.
A fusion of dark Berries is omnipresent but it’s hard to pick out a winner. I even struggle to identify it with the original beverage. Plenty of sourness runs through the core of the vape and tangy back notes linger in a pleasing way.
There’s a distinct lack of fizz but the cooling agent makes up for that to offer a very uplifting and lively summer vape.
I think Cherry could be the main fruit in Red Rush Ice but strong citrus notes throw me off track a bit. It’s certainly a vape that’s faithful to the OG beverage and replicates it successfully.
A must if you’re a fan of the energy drink!
IVG Diamond Bar – Watermelon

I Say:
This is a slightly different take on Watermelon. It certainly doesn’t reflect the usual synthetic, generic e-liquid usually being pumped out.
It has more of a freshness and there’s a muskiness to it, which I like. It doesn’t have the aroma or intensity I was expecting either. The levels of sweetness seem to be very much on point and accompany the fruit in a good way.
This is a relatively juicy take on Watermelon and the flavour is consistent throughout the exhale. It’s almost like a different variety of the fruit, although which one I couldn’t say.
You will get some cooling during the build up and during the exhale but it tends to caress the throat instead of making the eyes water!
This is a very polished take on a summer fruit and one I like a lot. It has a slightly different taste that lifts it above the run of the mill Watermelon profile.
IVG Diamond Bar – Blue Slush Ice

I Say:
There is a fair amount of sweetness building on the inhale but the cooling agent doesn’t seem to hit as hard with Blue Slush Ice. It’s one of those vapes where it tends to creep up, lingering on the inner lips and catching the back of the throat.
I’m a bit disappointed with the Raspberry content as it seems to be quite dull and mute on this occasion. In fact for the most part it’s quite a flat and dull flavour experience.
Since there’s less of the actual fruit, there’s more of the sweetness and because it’s working alone, so to speak, soon becomes a frustrating and one dimensional vape.
For the most part you’re simply left with a sugary coating on the tongue and no after taste of the Raspberry.
I have to be honest, I’m not a fan of what IVG have done with Blue Slush Ice.
IVG Diamond Bar – Pink Fizz

IVG Says:A refreshing blend featuring citrusy pink grapefruit notes that pair perfectly with zingy lemonade and cooling ice on the exhale that will leave your taste buds refreshed and satisfied.
I Say:
There’s a very good balance between an icy cold theme and the fruit notes with Pink Fizz. This vape is instantly flavoursome and refreshing.
The citrus notes run in parallel with the coolada on the inhale before a dominant Lemonade takes centre stage. Grapefruit makes an effort to fuse with the beverage side but those acidic, citrus notes engulf before it has a fighting chance.
That doesn’t make the vape any less effective because this still isn’t quite a traditional pink Lemonade experience. It’s more subtle in flavour during the exhale.
Once again, the sweetness attached to both inhale and exhale may be a deal breaker for some but still manages to prop up the juicier elements this profile has to offer.
I’ve found some Pink Lemonade offerings to be on the sickly side but IVG have ensured flavour balance and refreshment at the same time.
IVG Diamond Bar Disposable E-cig – Final Review Verdict
As a MTL vape for any newbie the IVG Diamond Bar disposable E-cig may be a little on the loose airflow side but still does a good enough job. One thing’s for certain, they constantly deliver on flavour.
However, it does feel slightly under-powered against the Bar Plus range. The auto draw can be a bit janky and doesn’t have the sensitivity of the Bar Plus, either.
The Bar Plus also edges it for vapour production, although that’s not likely to be an issue for its target audience.
Sweetness levels are occasionally elevated with Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava being the main culprit. Again, if you have a sweet tooth this won’t be an issue.
The inclusion of Coolada is something of a mixed bag. It works effectively the majority of the time but can distract from the overall vaping experience.
Yet when all’s said and done, IVG continue to knock it out of the park in terms of flavour intensity, consistency, longevity and authenticity.
One final note. The flavours hold out for the entire lifespan of the e-cig. Expect to get at least a full days use before disposing of – responsibly.
