IVG have refreshed the wildly popular IVG 2400 4 in 1 disposable vape with the new IVG Air 4 in 1. They have now turned it into a fully reusable pod kit! Thanks to Vape Club we’ve got one of these in for review!
Since they released their first e-liquid flavour on the 5th of March 2014, IVG (short for ‘I Vape Great’) have grown into one of the largest brands in the vaping industry.
They have truly become a global brand, with their products now sold in well over 100 different countries. IVG’s e-liquids are TPD compliant and produced to the highest manufacturing standards in the UK.

We’ve taken a look at quite a few of IVG’s most recent releases, including the IVG Smart 5500 kits, the 6000 bar salts range, the hugely popular 4 in 1 kits as well as the IVG Bar Favourites and IVG Air 2 in 1 kit! So let’s have a look at the IVG Air 4 in 1 Pod Kit!
What Can We Expect From The IVG Air 4 in 1 Pod Kit?
IVG’s original 2400 4 in 1 disposable popularised the ‘revolver’ system of switching between different pre-filled pods on the move. It quickly became one of the best selling disposable vapes on the market!
However, one of the main issues around the 2400 4 in 1 device is that it could not be recharged or reused. It created quite a large waste footprint as the whole device needed to be disposed of once you finished off your pods.
I’m pleased to say that this is not the case now as IVG have given the trusty 4 in 1 system a refresh! They have added a rechargeable battery and the ability to purchase new pods too, making the IVG Air 4 in 1 a reusable pod system!
Yes, that’s right, there’s now a rechargeable 1100mAh battery built into the device and an LED light indicator lets you see how much battery life you have remaining at a glance.
And when it comes to the revolver system of switching between different pods, it’s a case of ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’. This system returns allowing you to easily switch between four different pre-filled pods on the move.
IVG Air pods are pre-filled with 2ml of e-liquid and are 20mg strength, using nicotine salt to provide a smooth throat hit and satisfying nicotine craving satisfaction. And there’s plenty of flavours to pick from too!

Design & Build Quality
If you are already familiar with the original IVG 2400 4 in 1 then you’ll be right at home with the IVG Air 4 in 1, as this boasts an almost identical form factor!
You’ve got a cylindrical shaped design, which is nice and easy to grip and hold in the hand. There are ten different colours to choose from, each coming with four different pre-filled 2ml IVG Air pods.
On top of the device is the mouthpiece, which can be removed to give access to the chamber which holds the four 2ml pods. This chamber rotates smoothly as well, making it easy to twist and switch between the four pods on the go.
A new addition is the battery life indicator and this takes the form of an LED ring underneath the pod chamber.
This actually looks pretty cool when it lights up as you take a puff and it is pretty discreet too rather than taking the form of a pulsing, in-your-face light!
As there is now an 1100mAh rechargeable battery built into the device, you’ve got a USB-C charging port present on the base of the IVG Air 4 in 1.
A QR code is printed on the IVG Air 4 in 1 device which will take you to the online instructions, which is handy if you have misplaced your instruction manual.
Pods
The IVG Air 4 in 1 is compatible with IVG Air pods, much like the IVG Air 2 in 1 that we have previously reviewed. IVG Air pods come pre-filled with 2ml of 20mg nicotine salt based e-liquid.
What’s more, is that unlike the previous IVG 4 in 1 disposable, you can now purchase spare pre-filled pods and having the ability to recharge the device makes this a proper reusable pod system!

Quick Start Guide
This is one of the easiest pre-filled pod systems to set up and you’ll get going in no time at all! I’ve you have previously used an IVG 2400 4 in 1, then this will be second nature.
Getting Started
- Firstly, twist the mouthpiece anticlockwise to remove it. Then pop the pods out from their packaging.
- The pods have a handy arrow pointing downwards on them so you know which way to insert them!
- Pop each pod into the chamber, making sure the pods are oriented the correct way. Then replace the mouthpiece cap on the top.
- You simply twist the chamber until the pod you wish to vape is aligned with the arrow on the IVG Air 4 in 1 device, then take a draw through the mouthpiece.
Once you have finished a pod, simply discard it and replace with a new one.
Battery Life Indicator
You can check how much battery life you have left thanks to the LED ring.
- If it glows Blue then it means there’s 100-50% battery left
- Orange means there is 50-20% left
- Red means that there is less than 20% and you should probably pop your IVG Air 4 in 1 on for a charge!
Recharging the IVG Air 4 in 1 is done via the USB-C charging port at the base of the device, but no USB-C charging cable is supplied with the kit.
You’ll need to use one of your own or purchase one separately!
How Does The IVG Air 4 in 1 Perform?
Vape Club sent over the Blue IVG Air 4 in 1 edition for review and my thoughts on the included pods are below.
Blue Sour Raspberry
They say
Experience sweet fruits with a sour twist. Tart raspberries infused with sweet juicy blueberries.
We say
If there is one thing that IVG do know how to do, then that is how to mix a delightful tasting Blue Sour Raspberry e-liquid!
Now this is a really nice tangy, sweet and sour blue raspberry flavour! I felt that the balance of flavouring was pretty spot on between the raspberries and blueberries and I really liked the sour twang to this one at the end.
There’s a slight chill at the end of this as well which goes well with the blue sour raspberry flavouring.
Yes, it is sweet, but not overly so compared to a lot of the others out there. Quite a few that I have tried in the past get drowned out by the taste of artificial sweetener, but not so here.
The blue sour raspberry notes are complimented by sweetener instead, allowing them to shine through.
Excellent stuff!
Blue Raspberry Ice
They say
This beautifully blended blue raspberry is complemented by a blast of icy coolness.
We say
I felt that this one was quite similar tasting to the Blue Sour Raspberry, just with the sourness toned down and the icy chill turned up!
That’s no bad thing as I really enjoyed the Blue Sour Raspberry and I like a menthol kick to my e-liquids.
The menthol kick isn’t as strong as I would like it to be, but then if the chilly hit was mixed to my preferences then it would probably put a lot of people off!
Blue Raspberry Cherry
They say
A flavour explosion of tart blueberries and raspberries paired with sweet cherry.
We say
This one is predominantly more of a blue raspberry flavour, with a subtle undertone of cherry flavouring.
I get the blueberry and raspberry flavours on the inhale. I’d say the raspberry was just a touch stronger and I can pick up on an undertone of cherry holding it all together.
There’s a nice sweet and sour kick to this one as well and if you have a sweet tooth you will definitely enjoy this flavour!
Strawberry Watermelon
They say
Savour the taste of summer with our Watermelon Strawberry juice this is a luscious liquid bursting with fruity goodness.
We say
Now this isn’t too bad, considering as I don’t usually like watermelon flavouring!
I felt that it took a little bit more of a back seat to the strawberry, which is delightfully sweet and backed up well with the juicy watermelon notes.
There seems to be an ever so subtle cooling sensation right at the end of this which is quite a nice little effect.
I must say that I found this to be a bit of a strange inclusion given that the other three pods have blue raspberry as a base flavour. But it does seem that there are only three different blue raspberry flavours as part of the IVG Air pod range.
I mean, when you think ‘blue’ when it comes to e-liquid flavours I don’t think Strawberry Watermelon comes to mind! Maybe Grape Ice might have been a better one to include?
Just my opinion!
Device Performance
As with the IVG Air 2 in 1, the IVG Air 4 in 1 is configured to deliver a mouth to lung vape. Mainly in order to appeal to newer vapers who will get on with a tighter draw that mimics a cigarette rather than an airier one.
Airflow is fixed on the device so you are stuck with the stock mouth to lung vape!
It’s the same draw that is present on the IVG 2400 4 in 1, which is just about perfect for a device like this. There’s a smooth mouth to lung inhale and instantaneous firing of the device as soon as you inhale on it.
Battery life is pretty decent on the IVG Air 4 in 1 thanks to the built in 1100mAh battery. This device tends to last me around a day and a half of vaping before I needed to pop it on for a charge!
Puff Count
Unlike the IVG 2400 4 in 1, IVG themselves don’t actually state how many puffs you are likely to get from each pod in their marketing for the IVG Air 4 in 1. Which is something I like to see!
Puff counts can be highly inflated or based on unrealistic scenarios during laboratory testing. Such as reaching a puff count by measuring puffs that are less than one second.
How many puffs you will get from each pod will depend on how often and how long you take a draw on the device. So shorter and less frequent puffs will get more out of it as opposed to longer and deeper draws.
I personally tend to take longer and deeper draws on a mouth to lung device such as this one.
Puff count wise, I got 263 puffs from the Blue Raspberry Cherry, 288 puffs from the Blue Sour Raspberry, 271 puffs from the Strawberry Watermelon and 280 puffs from the Blue Raspberry Ice.
So, the puff counts are quite consistent across the pods.
I took the IVG Air 4 in 1 away with me to a four day heavy metal festival in August and it did the job for me. Lasting from the first day right through to the last, with only a couple of recharges needed.
So it is ideal for taking away to a festival or a short break away especially if you don’t fancy taking loads of vape gear with you!

Final Verdict
One of my main gripes with the original IVG 2400 4 in 1 kit was the waste footprint created by having to dispose of the whole device once you finished your pods off.
I’m delighted that IVG have tackled this by adding a rechargeable battery and the ability to purchase replacement pods. This makes one of the most popular devices on the market a more sustainable option as you can now reuse it!
And the most popular feature of the original 4 in 1 is still as good as ever. The ability to switch between four different great flavours on the move is a big selling point and it is as easy as ever to do, simply twist the chamber to switch the flavour.
Flavours are just as good as they were before too. So you have a selection of great fruit, ice and soda styled flavours to pick from. And by having the ability to purchase replacement pods separately you have endless flavour combinations at your disposal.
Incredibly, the IVG Air 4 in 1 is actually available for £1 less than the original 2400 4 in 1. Which is superb value for money when you consider that this is a reusable pod system and you can grab replacement pod packs for under £5.
If you use the original 4 in 1’s you should get straight on the new IVG Air 4 in 1!
